We are still taking every precaution to keep the entire kennel and office sanitary; we are doubling our sanitation efforts on the property by disinfecting all frequently touched surfaces and ensuring our employees are practicing proper sanitation practices when caring for our pets. As a precaution, we are providing curbside Pick-up and Drop-off for your pets, simply give us a call when you arrive for your boarding or grooming appointment and an employee will meet you by your car take your pet in, and collect any relevant information about your pets.

Corrales Kennel is located in the quiet country community of Corrales, New Mexico. We are surrounded by beautiful cottonwood trees where your pet will enjoy the fresh country air all while being pampered by our professional staff. We are committed to providing a safe, clean, and friendly environment for your pet where they will be treated as if they were our own while they're here.
The cat kennel is a separate building that is heated and cooled, where only the cats reside. Each family of cats has their own kitty condo which is equipped with 2 perches and a window view. We Feed Nutrena Loyall Life Cat & Kitten Chicken Meal Recipe, however, you are more than welcome to bring your cat's own food at no additional charge and we will feed to whatever schedule your cat is used to. We do require that all cats boarding with us are current on their Rabies and FVRCP Vaccines before the time of boarding.

A great kennel for boarding pets. I had to board my dog and my two cats at CK while my house was being repaired, cleaned, and prepared for sale. I also left my pets at the kennel while I was packing to move out of the house so over a period of for months I boarded my animals approximately 60 non-consequtive days. My experience was a very positive one: the family (owners and operators of the kennel) members were always professional, courteous, flexible, and accommodating. Additionally, the prices were reasonable (actually, the prices were the cheapest prices in the area). I highly recommend this kennel for your beloved pets.

Fantastic staff, caring Kennel technicians, amazing owner who goes above and beyond. These folks truly care for the best of animals, the groomer is even well versed in large and small dogs. She's not afraid of bigger dogs, love it! If you are looking to help out (ask if they could use toys or blankets) or even adopt a pet, sometimes they get some Fantastic dogs in, just ask. You may even find your new best friend.

What a great team at Corrales Kennel! Our shy Blue Heeler was there for 10 days/nights. When we toured the kennels prior to our reservation they answered all of our questions, we supplied his special food, a bed, blanket and toys. They didn't treat us at all like we were high maintenance. Just amazing customer service, we felt very welcome every step of the way! We highly recommend them and will be back!

I was really anxious about leaving my dog for a week while visiting my daughter in California. I called Corrales Kennel and talked to Dan, who invited me out for a tour. He was very personable and put me at ease. When I arrived Alex took me on a tour of the facilities and I knew this was the place I wanted Taj, my dog, to stay. They offer dog grooming, so I had Taj groomed the day I was to pick her up. Sheri, the groomer, is fantastic and did a fabulous job!
I intend to have Taj groomed at Corrales Kennels as well as stay there whenever I am out of town. Dan, Alex, Sheri and Amy made me feel very confident that Taj would be well taken care of, and she definitely was! I highly recommend Corrales Kennel!

Sherri was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Baby and polite with us. She is a professional through & through. I have been using this place for grooming for years. I just used it for kenneling for the first time with my 1.5 yr. old pup. She was very happy and well taken care of when I picked her up. And she had detailed feeding instructions LOL. I had her groomed the last day and they did a fantastic job. Cindy is the groomer. My dog is a 95 lb. Bernese Mtn.

Been bringing my dogs here every month for at least 4 years. It's been the same staff since day 1. So it's like a second family for them. My one dog doesn't even look back when she gets there. She's so excited. Really nice place. Great for any dog but especially older ones who need a quieter atmosphere.

Getting ready to bring my precious Grover for the fifth or so time. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Best yet, Grover is happy to go and happy to return. Since I'm usually staying with friends nearby who can't handle my 90lb Pyrakit (Pyrenees/Akita), I've enjoyed checking him out during the day for recreation and bringing him back for dinner and bedtime without the hassle some other facilities can give. Thank you guys!

A great place to go for dog training! Cindy Fraley is awesome! She has a lot of experience, she's patient, very knowledgeable about dog behavior, and explains things very well. She encourages the use of your voice, positive reinforcement, and praise to reward your dog rather than relying on food or treats. Classes are held on a grass lawn under shade trees. I would recommend her dog training class any day.

We took our dog here for grooming 3 times. Sherry, the groomer gave us so much attitude the first time that we wouldn't have come back, but our dog came out very silky and clean. So we tried it another time. Same attitude and our dog was clearly stressed out when we picked her up. We decided not to return, but they had a way with her long hair, and she was getting matts in her coat so we tried again.
This time, we showed up for our scheduled appointment and were informed that the grooming room was unusable that day and they had known since the previous night but had not bothered to call and let us know. We will not be returning.

Love the whole staff at Corrales Kennel. My dog loves it there, so I know he is well treated. When we arrive, he is quite happy to trot off with any of them! The rural farm-like environment is great for your dog if you're looking for plenty of outdoor space. No country club atmosphere, just warm, caring grooming and boarding for one (or more) of your most important family members!

I board my precious mini schnauzer at Corrales Kennel now for the past three years without any issues. The staff is always pleasant they seem to be people that genuinely care about my lil guy. Nico comes home tired, (possibly from all of the barking) but in a day he springs back! I trust them with the care of my dog. Five Stars!
