A whistle-trained dog is easier to handle at a distance, in heavy cover, and when the wind is high. Smaller dog whistles are generally higher-pitched than larger whistles. Whistle signals can be added most any time. A dog that knows his verbal commands well will usually pick up whistle signals very quickly.

Placed my online order for a Dokken Red Head training duck and two dog beds on Sunday and they arrived today (Wednesday). Free shipping was a bonus as well. I didn't actually talk to anyone but the online order process was fairly simple. Everything looks good and my Labrador (Bosch) is walking around with the duck in his mouth and he loves it. I ordered a collar and it was too large for my dog. I called and they had no problem with exchanging and attaching the engraved tags to the smaller one. I returned it and sadly my dog passed away unexpectedly. They were sympathetic and refunded my money. Excellent service and I will use them again if I get another dog.

I had a bad transaction to where weekend sales exceeded stock, they shipped my order and then notified me that the electronic collar was out of stock. Steve called personally to apologize and was willing to do whatever to make it right. In todays busy world it is hard to do what steve does much less find any business out there willing to do what these guys are willing to do! If there is something I need for my hounds it will come from steve, even if I have to wait a year, as long as it's not urgent. Thanks steve and the guys at gun dog!

Have made several purchases over the years with these folks. I ordered a new transmitter to replace an old one. The new one came in and didn't match what I had. Called and talked to Steve, found out it was the new updated transmitter. Steve was very helpful in helping assisting me with setting up the new style transmitter. These folks are top notch, sure friendly and helpful!

In my many years of dog training, I have never ordered supplies from a company that cares more about there customers as much as Gun Dog Suppy! I have ordered products that I ended up not likening for different reasons! They went out of there way make either refund my money, exchange the product, or figure out how to solve the situation.
