Services
OASIS PET RESORT offers grooming for most breeds in need of grooming, as well as the bathing of dogs before they return home. Our state of the art grooming area allows us to groom your pet in a professional and timely manner. Nail clipping, grinding and capping is also available upon request. Prices vary depending on the breed of dog, and the condition of it's coat. Give us a call at (802) 334-7005 -- we'd be happy to provide you with an estimate of the cost for having your pet groomed at The Oasis.
We consider the safety of our guests our top priority. We have security cameras monitoring the grounds, as well as locked doors to every entrance. The owner lives on premises, so your animals are always cared for, even in the middle of the night! Each dog or family of dogs has their own private, spacious room.
Our Cattery is a separate area designed for comfort, privacy, and quietness. We provide each cat, or family of cats, their own "condo, " complete with their own litter box, food, and water bowls. The condos are constructed with walls on three sides to help your cat(s) feel protected, but they also have an open side for plenty of air flow.
Simply drop your dog off after 8:30 a.m. and pick up before 6:00 p.m. Our Daycare program provides a fun, healthy, and engaging environment filled with lots of supervised activities, as well as one-on-one attention. Our goal is to help your dog come home at the end of the day relaxed and happy. Puppies: We focus on both healthy interactions with other dogs, as well as humans.

We bring our dog to doggy daycare and also for boarding while we are traveling. Our dog loves it there and gets very tuckered out playing with other dogs. Andy is great!

Until I moved here my dogs have never been boarded so I was nervous. There was no reason to be! This place is so great for them and I feel comfortable dropping them off. My boy dog is always like "bye" when I drop him off because he loves it so much. I get my old girl groomed here and never make any request because I am happy every time. Highly recommend.

We take our old English sheep dog to Oasis for grooming about twice a year. He is a bit stubborn but the crew at Oasis seems to have a way with him. He always seems happy to get there. He also looks and smells wonderful after there services. Maxim and all of us thank them and recommend them!

We just recently moved to Newport, and needed to board the dog for several days while we accepted deliveries and established the house. They were excellent and loving, while also taking appropriate precautions amid the pandemic. Hopefully, the day will soon come when we can interact a little more closely. Sophie loved it here. I would certainly recommend them to anyone seeking to board in Northern VT.

I am so grateful to Oasis Pet Resort for going above and beyond my request to watch my dog Juneau at the last minute. We are from out of state and were really struggling to find somewhere for our dog to stay while we were skiing. I explained my situation to Kate and she came up with the perfect solution, which was affordable and so convenient. My dog was happy and healthy when I picked her back up three days later. Thanks, guys!

The lady was a SWEETHEART. Very loving and accommodating. Also the place was clean that I could see and a true Oasis! One thing though, when I got my baby back after a 3 night 4 day stay she came with a good report on how she ate, followed directions and was a joy to have. Her bag of food wasn't even a quarter of the way gone and she was starving.

However I must say my baby usually doesn't eat unless i'm around so I was shocked when the nice woman said she ate. I will try this place again if i'm conye back to Newport. I'll tell you this because of Oasis I will start boarding my baby. This was our first experience

First, the good: the price was reasonable ($21/night) and it was easy to make a reservation. This was the first time I'd boarded my dog and when I arrived I was asked to fill out paperwork with contact info and vaccination information. I was not asked any information about my dog aside from his name and if he took medication. There was no place to fill in feeding information, and I had to inform the girl working that I had brought food for him and when and how much he eats.

I was not allowed to see the facilities where he would be staying, was not informed if he would have time with other dogs. I shouldn't have left him in the first place, but I did. When I picked him up was given no information about how his stay was, if he'd had any problems, etc. He smelled like he'd had an accident in his kennel and been wiped down (?) and seemed very agitated.

I had brought toys and an old sweater of my husbands for comfort in his kennel while we were away, when I picked him up they were still in the bag with no indication that they had been given to him. I imagine he spent the entire time in boarding alone, as well, but I wouldn't know since no one working offered me any information. Overall it was a pretty typical boarding experience from what I've seen with my other dogs in the past, but the thing that it lacked was any customer service, personal care or consideration for the dog or dog owner. At least PRETEND to care about me and my dog when I drop him off. Will not be returning.
