San Luis Obispo County Farm Supply Company, Inc. (FSC) was established in 1950 as an agricultural supply cooperative to serve the members of the Farm Bureau. Little more than an 18-by-20-foot room with $400 worth of inventory, the first Farm Supply Company store was located on Monterey Street in San Luis Obispo.
Farm Supply Company has long been a fixture of the Central Coast agriculture community, helping local families farm and ranch since 1950. Providing expert advice and services for tree, vine, grain, and specialty crops, at Farm Supply we pride ourselves on customer service. Traditional or organic farming, wherever you may be, you can find one of our five store locations to help supply your farm or ranch needs.
If you are an agricultural producer, or as the IRS likes to put it, "the owner or tenant of a farm, bears the risk of production, cultivates, operates, or manages the farm for gain or profit", please consider joining our cooperative. Another way of saying it is, if any percentage of your income is derived from a consumable product (livestock, fruits, or vegetables) you can apply for membership with Farm Supply. To join, just submit an application for membership along with $1 to purchase one share of Commonstock.

We buy our grass seed here in 50 pound bags. Store has a variety of goods for farm and animal care. They carry specialty items to build and maintain large plumbing or irrigation system, hardware and tool, pet and farm animal supplies, and a small selection of farm and western wear. They had some very unique rocking chairs outside the front door (late summer). We will be back again soon.

Went in there to see if I could find a cool present for my friend's birthday, and turn down one of the aisles to see one of the female employees, the blonde, with the biggish bones, who's tall. just staring at me, and staring at me! She looked me straight in the eyes and just kept staring. Didn't say one word. It was real creepy and wierd. I got away from that aisle with a quickness.
As frankly I found it very unprofessional and just strange. The other employees there were not like that at all.they were nice and professionally helpful.it's a good place to go, they've got a lot of cool stuff in there but watch out for that blonde female beucause something's very off, unstable & creepy with her.

Farm Supply Company has all your farm supplies. This place is big and has a lot of different things. Easy to notice from the street. Located just off the freeway. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had a special order which they got in a timely fashion. The worker helped load the items onto the truck saving us time. Cool place.
