I ordered the Endura single flap Vinyl door for a sliding glass door. This is a well-built, solid door for the price. I was initially concerned about how the fit would be for preventing drafts once installed, but the two sets of weatherstripping took care of the potential drafts of cold air coming through. (Installation note - don't put the weatherstripping in place where the spring loaded adapter is located until the door is seated in place or it will wedge the weatherstripping into the channel and make the install a little harder).

The install was extremely simple and intuitive, and the kit came with everything you need to install. Functionally, the door is great. Once our Golden Retriever figured out the use, she's in and out all day and we don't have to constantly open the door for her anymore. The flap isn't too loud, but you do hear it when the dog comes in hard (we have a cat who figured out how to use it, but we never hear her leave because she isn't so forceful).

Service was great as well. When I placed the order, I received an email within a couple of days letting me know about extended lead time, with a follow up once it shipped with tracking information. I'm very happy with this purchase, and would recommend this as a solution for renters or anyone without a traditional swing door to install a pet door.

Do not purchase any pet door from this company. They have extremely poor customer service and will never return your call despite that being the avenue for communication they recommend. I finally had to contact them via the online chat, which repeatedly disconnected, on their website. I purchased a Hale door which I tried to return within the 30 day window but since I never received the courtesy of a return call, I believe they did not return my call so the 30 day return window could pass thus they would charge a 10% restocking fee.

I later learned that the Hale pet doors are cheaper on the Hale website. Hale even gives a 10% discount for adopting a rescue. I cannot recommend this business. Check the manufacture's website, you will save money, before buying from these people. Lack of communication runs rampant with this company!

Excellent communication and service. I would recommend. We spoke by phone during a factory backorder situation, and they were able to accommodate me well with alternatives, and I'm thrilled with the product I got. They were courteous and respectful and understanding. Thanks!

Customer service is great! Very helpful, I spoke to two different reps and they were both nice, and gave good advice. I haven't installed the door so I can't speak to that piece yet. My contractor needed it because they needed dimensions as I am in the middle of a home renovation project. Stucco house so I needed a door that could fit in a 8thick wall. Delivery was prompt. When it is installed I will let you know what Penelope the Pit bull thinks!

I had purchased a cheaper pet door over a year ago but had problem with dust that comes form living in AZ. I like the construction and quality of this door so much better. It was double the price but it works better at keeping the dust low with the stronger flap hold. I like the double flap and the insulated door. Very easy to install. The only things is my cats can't get used to pushing harder to open the flap.yet. It will take some time. Wish they had other colors like tan. Otherwise happy with purchase.

We just needed a replacement dog door flap, Petdoors had the exact brand and size, it was received in short order and was straightforward to install. All good.

Extremely helpful customer service and the door arrived quickly. My boyfriend put in it quite easily and it's working great. I totally recommend this company and this doggie door. My dog uses this door easily multiple times a day.

I have always had a dog door and when I moved into a home that only had a slider, I was perplexed. Low and behold you make a dog door for that too. It was beautiful as well as insulated and very well constructed. My husband had it installed in no time at all. My old little dog uses it however my cats are still leary of it. I now feel I'm equipped to deal with a new puppy and I want to thank you for that.

We purchased the door because we had "uninvited visitors" (raccoons) enter the house through the previous pet door that we had. So far, it seems that they haven't revisited the inside of the house and the cat got used to the new door very quickly. So it works. The installation was really simple though I recommend a better track lock for preventing from opening the door when it should be locked. Also - we purchased the application for our phone and were able to monitor our cats activities while on vacation.

Thanks to a very helpful website, I was able to order the correct replacement flap for our old door the first time. Installation was straightforward, although it did require two sets of hands. The new flap fits perfectly and is working wel.

I got help directly with a real person on the phone to find the pet door I needed to get for an interior door AND for a hollow door, which made a big difference in the amount of time it took to install it. I recently hired a handyman to install it and it looks really nice, and it took him maybe 30 minutes to install from start to finish. I had it installed since I recently bought a window room air conditioner, so wanted my cats to have easy access to my bedroom. I've not yet seen how my cats will use the pet door since the a/c was damaged & I'm waiting for a new one to arrive. BUT, my youngest cat has been very curious and has been pawing at it to see what it is all about. I'm sure she'll figure it out when the time comes.

These folks have amazing customer service. I was worried they wouldn't let me exchange the small cat door I ordered for a larger size because our cats had used it a couple of times but they helped me get it sent in and refunded it upon receipt. Then, their customer service followed up with me until I was able to make the replacement order. When my shipping address was wrong due to a recent move, they followed up again and made sure to get the right information for my card and the shipping address and we are very happy with the final result. Everyone who helped me was patient, flexible, friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for better customer service. I will definitely come back for other animal needs!

I recently purchased a dual flap dog door from petdoors.com. I had a coupon code that I forgot to apply when I ordered. I called their customer service line and they were happy to update my order and give me the discount. I would definitely purchase from them again.

We love our kitty door! I purchased the smallest size flap and the 23" - 28" custom. Our window is even smaller so we trimmed 1" off to make a snug fit. Our neighbor had the proper tools to do this so it was very easy to trim. Installation was easy too. It seals nicely - we don't notice cold air coming through nor rain. Dolly required no training on how to use the kitty window either.

I gently put her through once and she figured it out instantly! She is a small kitty but has no problem going through. Dolly uses her paw to gently lift and then puts her head through. The four different settings are very convenient. We mainly use "out" only or "in" only, but it's nice having the other too choices as well. Thank you Pet Doors!

I appreciate that Kelsey was patient with me and my situation with relevance to winter, door size, screen size - I have a really weirdly constructed door and a rather fat cat named Mia. Kelsey came up with a great idea for me which I will use for the winter, and another idea for summer, and it is very economical. This is an excellent company!

I bought a door from them that had what I consider a misleading photo (the trapezoidal door didn't really appear as such). I was offered a return without restocking fees, but, unfortunately, we had a death in the family and I was unable to return the product for two months after purchase. They then charged me a 20% restocking fee without any consideration for our circumstances. Returning a $45 pet door was quite low in our priorities during that time.

My request to waive the restocking fee was rather rudely rejected IMO. They also charged me sales tax on the restocking fee! I placed an order for a much better Hale pet door on their site, but my wife found the same product for sale at petdoorstore.com for 1/3 less! The exact same product. The service and personal attention I got from Jon at petdoorstore.com was far better than the service at petdoors.com, too.

I immediately cancelled the order at petdoors.com and only then did they tell me they had a price match guarantee! Sheesh.selling the same product for 50% more than a competitor and only then telling me they would match the price that we had to go find. Frankly, I wouldn't give this outfit any business.

Petdoors is my dogs home away from home. They probably spend just as much time at the office as they do in their own house; They don't know how lucky they are to go to work with their mom everyday! They make sure the pet doors are well tested!

Pretty simple reason I'm happy. They replaced an $85 pet door flap at no extra cost, no questions asked, after the first one was apparently swiped from our front steps. Good folks. I hope whoever stole the first one finds a use for a pet door flap without the frame it's supposed to attach to. Well. No, I don't.

These guys are the best. I got their brand, which is made in the USA and super high quality. They make a sliding glass door panel with a dog door in it that you can take with you to your new place, great if you rent.

I ordered a stock sliding door insert and was amazed at how quickly it arrived! It is a better quality than ones I've purchased in the past from pet stores. My dogs are happier and so am I! I got a pet door for my sliding glass door from here. The staff was friendly although it is mainly just a warehouse, not really a retail place. The pet door was super easy to install, took less than a minute. It works perfectly in my apartment.

I researched what the best pet door would be and this is the door that I settled on. Although it was expensive, when I received it I realized that it was the Mercedes of the pet door category. Very well made. Installation should have been a lot easier but it wasn't. First off, the hole you are asked to cut in the door is larger than it needs to be and I would prefer to leave as much wood (structural integrity) on the door as I can.

The hole was probably an inch longer and wider than it needed to be. Second, once the metal tabs were bent as per instructions the holes wouldn't line up. I had to use a drill to 'move' the screw holes lower (these should have been pre-bent and sized simplifying installation). Im sure installation would have been easier on a flat door my door had decorative panels in it so that was a whole 'nother matter that needed to be figured out. installation was a pain but I am now happy with the way it looks and it works just fine.
