Gina and Susan are amazing! Ive know them for at least 15 years. They treat everyone well! They treat their employees equally and are very generous with them as well. I absolutely love how they present their company. They present their company with such honesty, integrity compassion, love, and much more! They truly represent what AHPC is all about. Its very difficult to find such class acts in business-Gina and Susan do it well!

By far the best sitters we've ever used. Susan & Gina were not only super attentive, ORGANIZED (they kept great records & notes and always showed up when they said they would, and returned calls quickly), but they went completely above & beyond when they sat our 2 dogs for 8 days.they took in the mail, watered plants, cleaned our cats' litter boxes, and I think they even figured out what day of the week trash collection came & put out our cans for us! To top it off, they left some sweet treats & a nice card for us when we arrived home. As long as we live in the SD area, we'll use Animal House.

They are the best! I always know our dog and our cat are being given the best possible care and attention while we're gone. I highly recommend them!

Susan and Gina are amazing! I travel every week for work and I know my dog is loved and taken care of while I am gone. They even took Benny to the vet when he had a ear infection while I was traveling. I highly recommend them!

I have been using Animal House Pet Care for more than 2 years. From a two dogs we had and a cat to now just a cat. Whatever the need and whenever the call they are their to answer. Not only do they send updates via text, but send pictures and videos upons request to ensure you that your pet or pets are in good hands. They even tidy up and leave you a little treat from r your pet and for you, usually delicious cookies! Homemade as well.

They are around all holidays and truly step up and do those little things that most places don't. The prices are also are on par if not lower than most. Highly recommend using them.

Update November 2017 - THE BEST EVER DOG SITTER. It's been six years that we have been using Animal House Pet Care. Susan and Gina are the best. Professional, respectful and trustworthy. I would not trust my 2 doggies with anyone else. I really did not want to write this to share how good they are, since I don't want to compete with anyone taking my vacation slots but who they are and how well they treat animals does need to be shared with others that truly want the best for their dogs and animals.

My review in 2011 - Susan has been taking care of our two standard poodles for over a year. She is very professional and her kindness towards our "girls" is great. She is very responsible and knows a lot about dogs and dog behavior. We would not trust many people with our girls. They are only two years old and very impressionable. They absolutely love her.

We use Susan for weekly dog walks and when we go away on vacation. The house and the girls are in tip top shape when we get home from our vacations. Susan will text or call depending on what your need is. I know she is taking great care of them and I always get a note on how their walk went. It makes you feel relieved that someone with love for animals is taking care of your pet. You are in good hands with Susan. The best pet sitter I ever came across.

Fantastic petsitter. I have known Susan for quite some time. Everyone I have referred to her petsitting business has been extremely happy with her care. She is truthful, honest and loving. Susan goes out of her way to make her furry friends happy. You will not be disappointed.

Within my circle of friends, all of us give Susan an A+ rating. She is quick to draw our attention to potential healthcare issues with our pets; she is in tune to their needs. Susan gives of herself to various charitable animal efforts and is well known to local groomers and veterinary offices. Honestly, within the North County community there is no one more I would trust my pets and family with for overnight daily doggie visits.

We have been fortunate in the past 10 years to have loving, quality pet care from Animal House. Our chihuahuas are high maintenance and spoiled- needing lots of TLC. We trust and appreciate all the extra attention Susan and Gina give our fur-babies! Five Star Plus!

Susan is the best with our pup Shelly. We cannot board her because she stops eating when we are gone, thankfully we found Susan about 6 years ago. We can always count on her to fill in for when we are out of town. She 100% trusted by us in our home, but most important with our dog. I see her around the neighborhood walking other dogs during the week. She is local in north county, so she is always close by.

Animal House Pet Care has been taking care of our Greyhounds for years. Susan and Gina and there capable staff LOVE our dogs and our dog LOVE them! They spend time with them, walk them and feed them and any other request we have. They are so caring about maintaining our house when we are away. When we come home, the have left flowers and a nice note about how much they enjoyed caring for our pets. They also text us images and videos of our pets so we care see how well they are cared for and when we miss them. Susan and her staff are without a doubt THE BEST!

We moved to Carlsbad a little over a year ago with our 11-year old Cocker Spaniel 'son' Buddy. Bud is a rescue and has a tendancy toward separation anxiety. In the 8 years that we have had him he has never been boarded. We have only ever had one pet sitter stay with him in all of those years. Finding a new pet sitter for Bud in the Carlsbad area was a scary and stressful idea.

Through internet reviews, we thankfully found Susan and Animal House Pet Care. As I said in my earlier review, in one of the early meetings Susan taught Bud to go up the ramp we had by the side of the bed. That was a training challenge that had elluded us. Within the first 2 minutes of coming to the house on the very first day, she got on the floor with Bud and he immediately came to her and started licking her face.

He usually barks at strangers. We knew from that moment on that Bud would be happy and well cared for. Susan has come to stay for three long weekends since April and everything has been perfect each time. We especially love the 'good morning' and 'good night' photos of Bud that she sends by phone while we are away. We now go away with absolute confidence and know that our baby is being well cared for.

Couldn't be happier with the care Susan provided for our somewhat neurotic dog. My wife and I haven't taken many vacations because of our dog's noise fears, but Susan did such good job we now can take more vacations. This was our 1st time using Susan and highly recommend her! Her consistent updates (photos included) helped us to enjoy our vacation.

Animal House Pet Care is absolutely the best care available for your pets while you are away. Over the past 4 years, Susan and Gina have done a great job with keeping my cats Maverick and Mally happy while Im away on short trips out of town. They are truly very fond of animals and I can tell with the frequent text messages that I receive while Im away with pictures and thoughts, how much they care about what they do.

I trust them implicitly with my animal family and have never been disappointed or have any reason to be. I would never consider using any other services because I just believe that they are the best. They are kind, loving, and always go beyond normal expectations to make a customer happy. You will receive daily notes on their experiences with your pet and you may even get some goodies in your fridge when you return home : I am very lucky to have them available to care for my cats while Im away. They are great!

Susan and Gina are the best. They treat our greyhounds better than we do. They totally pamper them and make sure they are catered to. When we go on vacation, so do our dogs when AHPC is around. She texts me photos when we are gone of the hounds, give me updates and leaves notes of their day to day experiences whilst we are gone. Susan goes the extra mile leaving flowers or dog treats by our house every now and then just to make sure those guys are remembered.

We recently went out of town for a family reunion and usually my brother will watch our dog when we go out of town. We've known Susan for a few years from walking our dog in the neighborhood and we've always liked her and appreciated her advice and knowledge about dogs. She is the only person I felt comfortable with leaving the family dogs and our home. She's is kind, conscientious, and professional making sure she has everything from vet information to the right kind of treats.

While we were away she texted us photos and gave us updates. We knew she took excellent care of the dogs because they were calm and happy when we got back. She left the house clean and in better shape then when we left, even leaving us flowers and fresh berries in the refrigerator--a nice touch! For a worry free vacation I highly recommend Susan and Animal House Pet Care!

We used Susan last May when we went away for the week. I totally felt comfortable with her in our home and I felt comfortable leaving her with my dogs- 2 little guys with snippy attitudes. She text me everyday with a photo and when we got home she had written notes about their feedings etc. It was so nice to be able to leave my dogs at home- where their comfortable and not have to worry about them!

Susan is fantastic! She is very professional and treats our dogs amazingly. I highly recommend her if you ever need someone to look out for you pets when you are out of town or even gone for just a night. She even texts photos of your pets and keeps you informed. You never have to worry!

My two dogs and I absolutely love Susan! I was looking for someone to watch the dogs at home instead of using the kennel and she was referred to me by a friend. She loves my dogs as if they were her own and takes great care of them. She comes 2x per week to walk/play with them and is always available to watch them when I need to go away. It is such a relief to know both my dogs and my house are in good hands because she not only takes great care of the dogs, when I'm away she takes in the mail, puts out the trash, picks up the poop, washes dishes, etc. Susan always goes the extra mile to help me out and is cheaper and better than any of the boarding facilities.

She texts pictures and leaves notes about what the dogs did that day and leaves treats for the dogs sometimes. She even got them to take a picture with Santa at Petco! I think the world of Susan and am so glad to have found her!
