Sheldon has been in business for over 50 years, he has trained more than 2,000 dogs. Sheldon Twer knows how to awaken and encourage the instincts that will make your dog an effective bird dog and a bird dog that works willingly for his handler. Sheldon trains all the bird dog breeds; pointing flushing and retrieving. He is an outstanding breeder of English Pointer, English Setters and other bird dogs, having bred and developed several National Champions as well as Region 11 dogs of the year. His English Pointers in are highly prized by discriminating bird hunters and field trialers.
Services
In the more than 45 years we have kenneled dogs, we have learned that a very high quality lamb, pro-biotic, flax seed and rice kibble topped with freshly cooked chicken prepared daily by the owner goes a long way to keeping our boarders relaxed and happy. Please let us know if your dog requires a special diet.
Eevery dog is on probation for the first month. During this month the owner is informed if his dog does not seem to have the basic motivation, is not physically sound, or for some other reason not considered a good prospect. Owners are kept informed with monthly progress reports. Our methods stress repetition.
Pups and dogs (both started and fully trained) are occasionally available from Sheldon. Please inquire about the possibilities of obtaining an excellent bird dog for your needs. Genes from great breeding, socialization, training and temperament are several requirements for becoming a great bird dog.

Mr Twer was not friendly. My dog was acting sick when I picked him up. I took him to the vet the same day. The vet said he was abused and possibly drugged. It took a long time, with love and attention, to get my dog back to acting somewhat normal. I hope this is placed is closed, as the internet says.

Awesome people. I Normally board my babies at their vet but last min. I had to find a place and I'm NOT going to just take them anywhere! I was nervous leaving them with complete strangers but when we got there the assistance was right there to make us feel very comfortable. They kept my babies safe while I was out of town for the fourth. The dogs had all shaded area and a swimming pool - thank you!
