I called the Store, an extremely helpful Girl /Lady ( Which ever you prefer) answered, and I asked if they had Railroad ties. She said yes and I asked if she knew which grade 2 or 3. She said I think 2 but let me go take a picture and send it to you and you can decide. She must have run as i saw the distnace after when I went to pick up the RR ties. 50 yards?.
They were grade 2 Better quality and less than Big Box stores. So I headed up on a Memorial day Holiday weekend on Hwy 80. Yes crazy! Got there and she greeted me and told me where to drive to pick them up. The other employees helping load these in my truck were just as frienly and helpful. I will drive to Auburn from Rocklin instead of going to the Big box stores just for the Service.
I'll have to get her name, but she was working at least from 3-4PM on 5/28/2022. Blonde hair as I recall. Keep up the good work! She has a great work ethic, which you don't see much anymore.! Thanks for going out of your way to be helpful.

Best hay/product delivery service around! Cameron is so efficient and skilled at creating a beautifully stacked masterpiece in the barn. He's also friendly, has a good attitude on the job and demonstrates excellent problem solving skills. I tip him well because I don't want him to ever leave Echo Valley. Nobody has ever been able to tackle hay like this guy!

Great place for upscale shopping. Lots of regular items that are upscale and not available anywhere else. Prices are low for what you get. However, this store is always crowded. The other downside is that Costco has a policy to change locations for items making it difficult to get in and out quickly, especially with crowds.

The owner Greg is awsome.the guys loading the hay work very hard and are Always very respectful. The girls at the counter however are absolutely WORTHLESS. If Greg is there then they will help you straight away. Other wise they are standing around talking and laughing ignoring customers and will help you after their conversation is over. And then its like they are doing you a favor by helping you.

Bought hay that I asked to be organic and turned to be that they never sold organic hay. Full of 4D and other herbicides. Killed my garden. Called them to let him know and I never got a call back. Presented myself in person many times and last time wich was just now, the lady behind the counter called me buddy, laughed at me and rolled her eyes. Management has been poor and also really bad type of costumer service.
It's horrible to be liable for other people's mistakes and see your garden die because someone else made the mistake behind the counter to sell you a product you're not going for. I'm taking legal action against Eco valley. Worst costumer service, rude and insulting comments toward my person from part of the staff, and uneducated staff that doesn't even know what they sell. how my tomatoes got deformed and leaf distortion can only come from the chemicals sprayed in the hay because everything I buy is organic. My soil is all messed up with hormonal herbicides that are UNFLUSHABLE and DESTRUCTIVE

Review number Maestro or Maestra a few notes on the piano if you please Twenty Six. Pet supply and feed store. Items for horse, donkeys, felines, doggies (canines). Felicia very helpful to us. We needed doggie pill patch for one the four lovable doggies. Not bad, big bag. Cost ten dollar seventy one cent with tax.

I have raised cattle, hauled hay from nevada bought and sold horses, raised kids in 4H and FFA, had goats, hogs amongst other things. These guys have always been my go to guys when something was needed. I'm not local to Auburn so I can't say the outstanding service I have received was cause I was a local. I can say those chills working in here are working, no nonsense get you what you need and on to help the next person. I'm only posting this today as I was passing through looking to see if they were open on a Sunday needing hay for the horses in the trailer and saw a comment speaking less than positive of our future generation. I'll tell you the girls up front were quick to take my money and the boys out back had the hay loaded up just as fast. Keep up the great work, I don't need to have a half conversation to feel like I got great service John Atkinson Bannerfarms

I've been buying my hay here for years. The quality of hay has been inconsistent. Sometimes, it's good hay. But then you'll order 40 bales and find out they're molded. Or like this last time, they're basically straw. I complained about my hay the day it was delivered, telling them my horses wouldn't eat 60% of it, and it's just laying all over their stalls. Untouched.
Even my goats won't eat it. The girl on the phone was nice, said she'd be upset too, and that she'd call me back the next day. This was a month ago. I never heard anything. Yesterday my vet came out and looked at the hay and said "you're feeding your horses straw?!? and I explained that this was the "hay" I got from echo valley.
She told me to make them take it back. They won't. Nobody has this kind of money to waste. It's the most expensive stall bedding I've ever bought. If you shop at Echo Valley, make sure you don't get your hay delivered. Go in, and hand pick your bales. If they won't let you, go somewhere else. I'm never shopping there again.

I am a long time customer and was very happy with with this store until I bought a load of alfalfa on sale in January. One bull calf being raised to sell expecting it to be a prized herd bull became ill a week ago Wednesday evening and was dead at 11:15 pm. It was a $900 loss. Then, two days ago, one of our prime cow producers became listless, slow walking, and refusing to eat the alfalfa.
It had given her bloat. Now we understood why the calf died. I returned the alfalfa wanting an exchange for orchard grass hay to help relieve the bloating. The employees were distraught the alfalfa had caused a calf to die but the owner had every excuse in the world, refusing any responsibility whatsoever. I was credited with the returned hay but charged the $91 difference for the Grass hay.
After all the excusses, I asked if they tested this specific batch of hay. After being told all their hay was tested, I asked to see it. The owner smiled, saying he didn't keep the tests in the store and he was not interested in arguing with me. Again he claimed there was no way his alfalfa would cause bloat. I left saying to him this batch of alfalfa is dangerous and he will kill more animals. A wonderful store until they sell you feed that kills your animal. That's when you'll discover it is never their fault. So, buyer beware!

Love this place. It is a bit of a drive for me but their prices are slightly lower than other feed stores and the people working there are super nice. A lady spent 20 minutes with me at the counter looking through feed cards to find what grain they had that would best suit my horse. She was super helpful and had no issue helping out. 10/10 service.

Place to go for your farm needs. They are quick and get it done. I love how I just go to the counter and order what I need. Little intimidating if it's the first time walking in, especially cuz the employees come off a little "what do you want" but they are the nicest people in town and are more than happy to help and make suggestions! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I'm a new horses owner. The folks that work here are always friendly and helpful, they never make me feel stupid and even though they are very busy they take the time to answer all my newbie questions. They have almost every thing I have needed for my house pets and my pasture pets. They even have a section of used horse tack in the back of the store, which the proceeds go to Horses honor, a non-profit horse sanctuary, which makes me love the place even more.

Holy crap this place was cold inside. Yah, it was cold outside and just as cold inside. Echo Valley Ranch. is not a ranch. It's listed on Yelp as a Pet Store. not entirely accurate. Honestly, it's a feed and farm-ranch supply store. With chickens. One very large chicken wandering about. Wife and I stopped in looking for horse care utensils (brushes, combs, picks, etc) and found exactly what she was looking for in addition to a cool pink pocket knife, which she wasn't looking for. Nice cross selling done! Employees were very nice, very helpful, and very cold.

Love this store. Staff is always helpful, and they have a great supply of everything! We go for straw and pet supplies. They have everything you could ever need for your dog or cat, so it's not just a farm store. Plus, every spring, the baby chicks are soooo cute! It's worth a trip just to see the "chick palace"!
