Pet Pride saves the lives of homeless cats in our community by providing sanctuary, medical care, and placement into forever homes. Our work is guided by a belief that every cat deserves a loving, permanent home. Once a cat is admitted to Pet Pride, they stay with us for as long as it takes to find them a forever home. We believe that no cat should be euthanized for want of a safe place to live and needed medical care. As a limited-intake, no-kill shelter, we do not euthanize cats in our care in order to make room for additional cats.

Services
Our cats live in a home-like atmosphere in a permanent sanctuary set on 15 wooded acres in the town of Victor, New York. They are lovingly cared for by paid shelter staff, treated by local veterinarians, and pampered by dedicated volunteers. Our cats enjoy a clean, cat-centric environment with plenty of space to explore, play, and nap.

Do you live with other people? Is everyone ready to welcome a new feline family member? Does anyone have allergies?
These cats and kittens are currently awaiting their forever homes. Even if you don't fall in love at first sight, we hope you'll complete an adoption application. Our staff is ready to help you find your perfect match!

Mt first experience with them and everyone was so great! We lost our cat after 16 years and coming in and visiting with the cars and kittens really helped. My new cat found a hiding spot for the first 12 hours but came out meowing. He is very lovable and cuddly. I'm glad I went and he found me.

They seem very friendly and caring. We had surrendered 2 of our cats because we could no longer take care of them due to health issues on our part. They were both completely healthy had no problems at all had even been to the vet earlier this year who said they were totally healthy. A couple weeks after surrendering them. One of them supposedly got sick had fluid in her lungs and had a bad liver so they put her down and checked her brother who they said was fine and healthy but then not even a week later the EXACT same thing happened to her brother.

I don't believe they are a no kill shelter. I still want answers from what happened but never got a response back from them. I get the impression they only care to have kittens and not senior cats or adult ones because most people only adopt kittens.

Nice place where cats can go till adopted. Quite setting off the main road. Volunteers are very helpful. We had to surrender two cats that were born at our campground that we would have loved to take but we already have two rescue cats. We felt better that they were left in good hands and hope they have a new home soon.

Bottom line if you want the best of the best and the best of the rest, go there. Very knowledgeable and helpful people and at the same time they're not necessarily looking for people who want cats but are looking for Cat People. Bottom line if you think cats should be statues and not be on your kitchen counters and do exactly as you say like a dog then I would not go there because they are not for you but if you love cats and you feel they should be a part of your daily life and a part of your home then they are the place to go!

Wonderful cat shelter! Recommended cats based on my expectations. Cats walk freely, so you can easily interact with them and choose the one you like. Very helpful and friendly staff!

Pet Pride is one of my favorite places to visit. The staff are always lovely, the cats are clearly treated very well and most of them are extremely friendly and love visitors. Go in and pet them! And adopt!
