Malta Animal Hospital

First question every time you enter is how will you be paying for todays visit - that's before your pet is seen. Pet care is not a priority. Tried to order meds online - 2 messages were sent requesting approval. Malta animal hospital sent me an email saying script was available for me to pick up - that message was in my junk mail and not seem for several days. Called, asked them to approve order and that's when I was told they don't participate in online approvals. If pet care was priority they would have called me about this. There are many other vets in area - find a different one - I know I am!

This Business is Great! They took my Chewy ( female white German shepherd) in on an emergency, and we weren't Client's! My dog came so close to dying and they call me at least 2x a day with updates. I can say they Truly Care and Love Our Pets like we would. Thankyou so much!

So went to Malta Animal Hospital for my kitten's check up. I was so pleased that Dr. Gliserman was there and a veterinarian technician who were as nice as can be. Phoebe my kitten passed her follow-up from being spayed. It has been a hectic ten days for us as Phoebe can be a handful sometimes. But I am pleased everything went well and can thank Malta Animal Hospital for giving my pet such loving care. Thank you. Victor and Phoebe.

Dr. Jake & Staff are always so helpful & thorough. We feel very fortunate to have fallen into their capable hands and truly can't thank them enough for all of their guidance and for keeping our pups healthy and happy. Thanks again!

Malta Animal Hospital is just extraordinary. So responsive and the ENTIRE staff CARES deeply about animals and makes each experience so individualized and caring. I have had phenomenal experiences for wellness and illness for my two pets. In addition, I have boarded my pet there multiple times and they treat our pets like their own.truly! I can't say enough phenomenally things about Malta's entire staff, all the doctors and the very friendly and convenient way they do business. THE BEST!

All interactions with staff were very positive. As a first-time client, this was exactly what I was hoping for. I would recommend to anyone looking for animal care in the area.

Dr. Kent and his team are absolutely amazing My DaisyMai was feeling awfully sick when we arrived on a Thursday and by Sunday morning she is back to being a playful and vocal puppy. I would definitely recommend Malta animal hospital to all my friends and family with their pets.

Can't say enough good things about this place! We recently switched over to Malta Animal Hospital because our previous vet struggled with delivering even the most basic services. Malta Animal Hospital is amazing! We pulled in for our new puppy appointment and within two minutes of arriving a remarkably friendly and helpful vet tech named Megan came out and had a 10-15 minute conversation with us regarding our new puppy and our other dog.

After Megan took our puppy Lucy inside, Dr. Olivia G. came out and picked up right Megan left off. She was personable, answered all of our questions, and told us what our next steps would be. They told us they would deliver a care plan for us within 3 or 4 days - and they sent it to us the same night. We are super excited to be working with the Malta Animal Hospital and I encourage anybody not happy with their vet to reach out to this wonderful establishment.

I am very thankful I have these people to help me care for my pets! They are incredibly kind and gentle. I appreciate their wealth of knowledge and support with whatever situation arises. They are the best!

My dog has always been prone to health issues and just before thanksgiving we started dealing with something new. She was constantly licking and itching at red and irritated spots forming on her legs and mouth and was clearly uncomfortable. My previous vet told me to give her more steroids and antibiotics (even tho I had not gotten through the other bottles of pills she kept giving me) and rub some itching cream on her spots.

It was clear their help was getting me nowhere. I began losing hope and getting stressed that I could not stop my dogs suffering so my father recommended I get a second opinion at the Malta Animal Hospital and I could not be happier. They immediately ran blood tests and took stool samples and suggested they run a few more tests. I got answers back in just a few short hours and I am confident now that my dog is finally receiving the care she needs to get better. I am happy to say that I will bring all my pets from here on out to the Malta animal hospital. There are not enough words to express how great the staff is here!

My experiences with Malta Animal Hospital, including the most recent, have been outstanding. I began bringing my cats here after I moved to NY in early 2014. All of the staff are caring and knowledgeable and appointment times are readily available and flexible. I love that the client services staff and technicians recognize me and my cats. Dr. Jake Zaidel in particular managed care for one of our cats through an extended illness, up to and including helping him pass on peacefully in an emergency euthanasia just yesterday. Dr. Jake is a great people person too, and handled my husband and I very well during this trying time. We will definitely continue to bring our other cat, and any future pets, to Malta Animal Hospital.

Clean, healthy waiting and examination rooms; wonderful and caring staff and DVMs. We have two cats and one large breed dog, and all get excellent care and attention here. Highly recommended.

I definitely recommend this Vet. They're professional but friendly, not pushy/preachy with vaccines, and on-time with appointments. I haven't boarded my dog here yet.
