As much as pet owners would like to be with their pets all the time, it is not always possible. Critter Care, provides daily mid-day dog walks, backyard breaks, dog exercising, pet feeding, petting, litter box/cage cleaning, medication administration, and other pet sitting services. By leaving your pet at home rather than kenneling them, they are left in an environment that is familiar, comfortable and stress-free.

They are a small family-owned business located in Mclean. After receiving both a Biology and Psychology degree from George Mason University, Mindy began working as a veterinary technician and an adoption counselor at a local shelter in Northern Virginia. Once she gained a lot of valuable experience and knowledge, she decided to start her own animal care business.

We would need you mostly to help us with occasional mid-day dog walks (between 11 and 3).

We are still trying to figure out our cat. Do we own him or does he own us? Probably a little of both. We have figured out that he does NOT like to go to the vet or to get his nails trimmed. He hates to travel. He's all hisses, swats, and fury. So we surmised that he would not cotton to being boarded should we leave town. A few weeks ago we left for two weeks.
We needed to do something. So we found Critter Care Pet Sitting. Elinor was great. She came over, met our cat, and befriended him. As she looked after him while we were away, she took a picture each time and messaged it to me and my wife. This was VERY important to our kids. A lot of OHHH and AWWWW and I MISS HIM SO MUCH. When we came home it did seem that maybe he missed us. Of course, maybe he just missed Elinor. Probably a little of both.
