Since 2008, The Folsom Dog Resort has provided dog boarding, dog day care, dog training, and dog grooming services to thousands of clients and canine guests from the Folsom, CA community including: El Dorado Hills, Granite Bay, Cameron Park, Rancho Cordova, Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Gold River, Sacramento, and other surrounding cities.
Our training program is the best around. We are so confident in our program, that we are offering FREE evaluations so you can see our team in action, and we can start building a lasting relationship. Stay with us three or more nights, choose one of our fun activity packages, and your dog's first night with is free! Advance reservations and current vaccinations are required. Yes, we offer a multi-pet boarding discount of 15% for additional dogs who share a room. In our effort to maximize the safety and health of all guests, we do not allow dogs from separate households (friends, neighbors, family members) to room together while staying with us. For any dog over 10 years old that has not lodged with us before, we may require and complimentary "meet and greet" visit prior to your pet's stay.

The staff is amazing and so helpful. Give daily updates when I pick up my dog on his behavior and what went well or if there was any behavior I should be concerned about. My pup Chewy is always so eager to get there on our drive in the morning. Excellent staff, and my puppers is always exhausted when I pick him up. (which says a lot because he's a 3yr old husky with lots of energy)

I am so happy with Folsom Dog Resort! Our dog always comes home happy, while she has not always had a good experience elsewhere. We were sad to not be with our pup on her first birthday. To our surprise, FDR sent her home to us with a personalized birthday card that the staff had signed along with some pics of our pup on her special day. The staff also was kind enough to send Summit home with some birthday gifts. I already preferred FDR over the others I've tried, but this small gesture and extra care of our dog really solidifies our loyalty.

My 2 boys Carson and Cooper have a blast at daycare and all of the girls take good care of them when they do boarding. Bailey was their trainer and she did a great job, she was very helpful and she is highly respected by the boys. I have already recommended FDR to all my friends and coworkers. Hands down best place to have your fur babies stay!

I took my deaf Queensland Heeler to Folsom Dog Resort and Training Center for one of their board and train programs and it was one of the best decisions I've made for my dog! Mike and his team of trainers are professional, experienced and well educated about dog training. During Piper's stay, they kept in frequent contact with me and kept me updated about her progress and how she was doing overall.
When I picked her up, I received a two hour lesson with one of their trainers (Jen) where she went over all the training tools and commands with me. After that, Jen completed a demo lesson with Piper to show me everything she learned and then taught me how to do the same. Piper is home now and doing fantastic. I now have a reliable way to communicate with her and I feel confidant that with consistent practice, she will be well behaved and more secure. All that said, I highly recommend Folsom Dog Resort and Training Center and I feel it was an excellent investment. A big thank you to Mike and his awesome team. Thanks guys!

I dont have enough good things to say about the place. I haven't used the boarding service only the daycare. But we use it 3-4 times a week for my active 7 month old husky mix. It has been a life saver! He comes home tired lol and he can't wait to get inside to play when I'm dropping him off. All of the staff has been very friendly and loving to Jax. I'm so happy we found them!
