The best pet store in Folsom. The owners are great guys, super knowledgeable and always willing to help you make the best decision when it comes to your pet. They have great food options (frozen raw, freeze dried raw etc) for those pets who are more sensitive or have allergies. I love to buy treats for my Frenchie here. Pricing is super reasonable and I will recommend this place to anyone!

Great place to wash your pets. They provide everything needed. Just show up! Also they have a varied shouldn't of food, tests and accessories.

We absolutely love this place because they give you brushes comes and scissors at the watch stations because I can never seem to remember mine. I wish the dryers were little warmer but other than that this place is perfect.

I only go for dog wash. surprisingly they only give shampoo in it's actual bottles and no conditioner, so always take mine. Dryer is very loud and my dog gets scared, so I have to take mine as well. Staff is very nice and they have good promotions for just dog washes, if u r a regular customer.

Had such a great time taking our new pup for her first bath! The amenities were great and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable! Looking forward to supporting this local small business for many years in the future.

I like this dog wash. It's most helpful if your dog is calm. Lol. If not place the mat at bottom of tub to prevent slips. Trust me I know. 3-4 locking areas for collar. Warm water. And a small section of soaps to use. I think it's on a timer because they mentioned if I brought my own. They provide cool air hoses to dry and towels. They clean up hairy mess. Very nice. Check it out.

Really small and crowded. Quite pricey for a self wash that small. My favorite thing about this shop was the fact they provided a couple towels for drying. Doesn't look like Dahlia approved.

Our Neighbor told us about Sbarkles and we decided to check it out today. After all it was my dogs birthday and it was time for a new dog toy and a treat or two. I've walked past this place so many times and never checked it out. Turned out to be a nice place. There were so many healthy dog treats and I noticed quite a nice selection of dog food.

And best of all a nice selection of dog toys. Nice place to buy gifts for my dog loving friends. The owners were attentive and personable and gave our little birthday dog a nice treat. I'll definitely return to support this Folsom business.

Convenient way to give your dog a bath! Everything is right there, no bending over a bathtub or a pup on the ground with a hose LOL. When a tub is available you can wash rinse and dry your dog in less than 15 minutes. Great inexpensive touch up for your pups between grooming appointments

Best place for all your dogs and cats needs. Great owners, great staff! John, Bob and staff always go above and beyond with advice and service! Love this place! Plus you can wash your dogs there.

DO NOT take your dog to get washed here, overall awful experience. 15 dollars for rusty/broken appliances, hose with a hole in it, and cold water. Our dog was absolutely miserable and we got soaked from the broken hose. Employee was rude and very unhelpful AND knew the water was cold and didn't warn us.

Our go-to place for dog food snd of course s good wash! The owners and staff are always very friendly, helpful and welcoming! Highly recommended!

The self-service dog bath was a really bad experience, both for myself and my dog. The water was barely lukewarm at the start and kept getting colder. Another patron mentioned her dog was shivering from the cold water so I asked the staff if they could please adjust the water temperature. The clerk explained to us that they "sometimes run out of warm water due to too many dogs getting a bath in a short period of time" and said their water is shared with the adjoining shops and they can't control how much warm water other stores use.

When I asked why they didn't disclose these facts prior to paying, she just repeated the same lines. I also advised them that their water hose had a hole in the side that shot water sideways and I kept getting sprayed while washing my dog. While the apron did protect me somewhat, the bottom of my pants, my socks, and my shoes were thoroughly soaked.

The store clerk looked at my wet attire and simply said, "Oh, sorry." The other staff member looked but said nothing. No refund or discount was offered for the faulty equipment and unpleasant cold water bath. The owner should invest in a separate water heater as a back up. We left the store cold, wet, and unhappy. I do not plan to ever come back here.

We love coming here whenever possible to support the friendly, knowledgeable owners and staff. It has a real family feel and they stock better and healthier food than the big box stores. Happy that they're in Folsom!

Employees are helpful and friendly, my dog was not happy to get a bath but it was worth paying to do it there. The bending over, wet dog smell and hair everywhere all over your house is not fun, so totally worth it

I love this store. It's a small family owned business and he owners and staff are always friendly and helpful! The self serve bathtubs are a back saver and it's so nice that they provide everything you need. I would highly recommend this store for your pets needs.

I love this place. They have everything you need including a super powerful blow dryer to help get my German Shepherd/Husky dry. Everyone is always friendly and ready to help if you need it. I didn't take the best pic since my boy was ready to go home but come check it out for yourself!

I love the self-service bath. Lots of shampoo options: hypo-allergenic, eucalyptus, shed control, etc. The water is warm, and there are slip mats and towels provided. Great customer service. You're welcomed as soon as you step inside, and there's a treat bowl on the counter with dog treats - help yourself. The owner clearly loves animals and is passionate about his business.

Great selection of products. But please be advised that this is a store with high-quality products. It is a great place if you're looking to spend on your animal, or get a special gift for an animal lover. If you're not prepared for premium products, you might be more comfortable shopping the pet aisle at Walmart. There's nothing wrong with that, you should just know before you go. But if you're looking for a great Kong toy, a hypoallergenic shampoo, or a bone/chew substitute made from non-animal products, this is your place!

So I go into the store to check it out. Seems like a nice place. They ask if I need any help, I said yes, I was looking for a certain brand of dog food, when I told them the Brand and that I usually get it in Orangevale at the feed store, I was told it was a lower quality product. They did everything they could to switch me. I didn't get a warm and fuzzy feeling about this joint. Thus, I left with no food in hand. Will I come back to this store? maybe to bathe my dog, but not for anything else. This place just didn't have good vibs.

I went in to use their self-service dog wash. I called ahead of time to make sure that it would be open, and the staff seemed really friendly on the phone. This made my decision about where to take my pit who *hates* baths a lot easier. More on that below. The staff was really helpful in showing me how to use the station as I'd never used one before. Well, when my 70+lb baby wisened up and realized where he was and what was about to happen, he planted himself flat on the ground and refused to comply, even for treats.

The staff saw what was happening and graciously helped me get him into the tub (they did most of the work tbh for which I'm very grateful!). I'd absolutely come here again if I'm ever in the area :)

Love this place! All the staff are so friendly and will take the time to talk and help if ur concerned about any problems your pet may be having. I highly highly recommend this place for good quality pet food that Sbarkles stands behind. Prices are good and return policy if your pet does not like the food is 100%! Can't beat that!

Writing this review after my 2nd dog wash. Because my yellow lab goes crazy in any store especially one with dog treats, I left him in the car to pay first. I told the friendly lady that it was stressful bringing my dog, but I'm hoping after a few more times, he'll calm down. The nice employee was very kind and thoughtful bringing us conditioner and reviewing how to use the wash. Because of her attentiveness and giving my lab some extra treats, the experience was extremely pleasant.

These guys are GREAT. With the COVID 19 virus, they offered to even bring the dog food to my house. I called Bob at his store told him what we needed, his staff took my credit card information over the phone and we were done. Since I live in Folsom 15 minutes later Bob showed up out front. He left the dog food I ordered on the porch and called me to let me know that he was here. If you are not buying your dog and cat supplies from Sparkles you should be. Their advice and service is second to none! I would recommend them as the place to go!

My wife and I come to El Dorado Hills a few times a year to visit family, and this is the best store in town for pet supplies. Laura and Sofia helped us out tonight and were both great. Will continue to come back here to get food and supplies for our pup!

I love this place - u are greeted with a smile - sir Riley always puts the brakes on - he won't get in the tub - with help from staff - they pick him up and plop him in the tub - he doesn't mind the water he just doesn't want a bath! I will always bring him here

We've taken our dog here a few times. Always so welcoming when you first walk in. They have EVERYTHING you could imagine to give your dog a bath and they explain things so nicely. There dog food selection and treats selection is out of this world. Today we took our goldendoodle and again it was a warm and friendly environment. The set up makes everything seamless. As we were checking out they were giving there customers flowers which made the experience even more amazing. Thank you guys!

Went here to give my pupper a bath. It was quick, convenient, easy, there's no time limit, and it's cheaper than typical groomers! My pup loves water but hates bathtime and usually tries to escape and soaks everything in his path. He's also very picky about his groomers so dropping him off with professionals is a challenge. This is my new favorite way to bathe him.

The woman who helped me was so sweet! I was able to come in around 6:10PM to use the self-serve dog wash. I have a 58lb puppy, so I called ahead of time to see what is the latest time that I can come in to use this service. She was so nice over the phone and was even nicer in person, we felt very welcomed and not rushed at all. They had 4 different shampoos to chose from, a blow dryer, many different combs/brushes, and the woman even brought me extra towels and a conditioner!

All of that for just $15! It's understandable that they want you to arrive by a certain time in order to use the self-serve dog wash. You need to keep in mind that they need to clean up afterwards, so arriving close to their closing time is rude on your behalf. I will definitely be returning here!

I've been coming here for years tried other places but they weren't as good as this place everybody's very friendly they're helpful the girls are the sweetest love this place and won't ever go anywhere else unless I just do it at home but I'd rather go here Sparkles folsom is the best! It's like washing my babies at home.

I went to Sbarkles this morning to pick up some raw food for my dog. I have been here before and liked it ( I had only stopped in for the self service dog wash in the past). This time, I was greeted by the owner and had no idea I was in for such a great experience. We talked about the benefits and importance of feeding raw, and he was the most kind and down to earth owner I have had the pleasure of doing business with.

He has a true passion for animals and is well informed of animal health and education. Along with that, he went above and beyond to provide genuine and excellent customer service. I'm very happy to say I will be making this my new place to get all of my fur baby's food and supplies. The shop is clean and inviting, And nearly everyone that walked in or out of the shop was greeted by their first name and seemed very pleased.
