Services
You work hard to ensure that your furry family member has the best possible life. That's why partnering with a veterinary provider who genuinely cares for you both is so important. At Middletown Animal Clinic, we are proud to offer a comprehensive range of services to address your pet's specific veterinary needs.
Our veterinarian-performed physical exams are a comprehensive assessment of your pet's health and are the first step in preventative care. Annual exams help us prevent, diagnose and treat disease in its early stages, often before any noticeable symptoms begin. The earlier treatment starts, the more effective it is, keeping your pet from unnecessary pain and suffering.
Regular dental care is essential for keeping your pet healthy and happy. Dental disease is a common problem in small animals, and it can lead to serious health problems if left untreated. Periodic dental exams help maintain proper oral hygiene and prevent future complications. To learn more about dental care for your pet, or to schedule an appointment, call us at (718) 824-8300. You can also book a visit online.
Surgery is often the most effective way to treat a serious injury or disorder, and Middletown Animal Clinic performs surgeries in state-of-the-art facilities with cutting-edge equipment. We offer a full range of surgical services ranging from standard spaying and neutering to advanced, highly specialized procedures.

I have brang my dog for a physical and her shots which I payed close to 300$. Now 2 weeks ago I brang my cat for a UTI. which she was escorted to the doctor for no more but probably less then 5 minutes. I payed $113 or more but included meds. Today I call to schedule for my cat to be spayed. Thank God I asked since I pay in cash. what's the estimate? The receptionist tells me $600. Are you serious? Do they even realize they're free services. We choose to give them business. But don't beat us over the head

Horrible experience! I brought my cat there to get checked. Came home and charged me a full examination fee when they said my cat was being "aggressive and was gonna bite them" my cat is the sweetest. They had to nerve to charge me the full examination fee meanwhile they didn't weigh my cat, didn't check his hematoma, didn't check his mouth and Dr earl told me to come back to sedate him!

I called to get a full or partial refund and they refused! I'll never go there again! Dr earl was rude and cold how is he a vet?! And please whomever responds I don't want a sorry because sorry isn't good enough! I'll be going to my vet 45 mins away rather than a 5 min walk down the block! AWFUL!

What a wonderful experience I had today with Middletown Animal Clinic. I had never been there before but now I will definitely go again! Every staff member I spoke to was very pleasant and helpful. When I spoke to the doctor he was so nice and explained everything really well. I am very impressed!

They need more chairs i had to stand up for an hour. Other then that the service is amazing and the doctor is too. Loves that the doctor comes out and explains everything to you. I wish they had a bigger office this place fills up fast. They had 7 people not including staff in one room.

When I called I specifically asked does the doctor specialize in exotic animals because I own a ferret, they assured me that yes they do. They gave me an appointment the next day. It took me a hour to get there and then I waited an hour to be seen. They took my ferret to the back for about 4 minutes and doctor Ross came out and said does my ferret urinate regularly.

I said yes. He said he has a blockage you need to bring him to the exotic animal hospital in Manhattan. I was shocked I said maybe he just needs to pee it's been 2 hrs he assured me I was wrong. I rushed him over there spent almost $600 just to find out I was right he just had to pee. Do NOT BRING YOUR ferrets here or any exotics they do not know what they are talking about. Wasted my money and time.

I normally never really give a bad review but the customer service I received gave me no other option. I called them on Friday, Jan 7 regarding my mother-in-law's dog. They said they were booked up for that day but call back the following morning and they would try their best to squeeze him in for an emergency appointment. So I called back on Jan 8 and they told me that there was nothing they can do.

They shouldn't get people's hopes up if they don't know for sure, that is extremely unprofessional. I was also told "things don't always work out that way". I'm still flabbergasted by the whole thing. Don't bring your pet here, they are rude and uncaring to an animal who is in desperate need of medical attention.

Worst vet I've ever been to. The doctor is compassionate but the staff can never gets anything done. They were supposed to approve my dogs prescribed food and I was assured the first time it will get approved. Processed it again, only for it to be canceled AGAIN because no one can approve the food. Then I went to the groomers to get him groomed and the vet did not give me the correct paper work for him to get groomed. Had to reschedule yet ANOTHER APPOINTMENT. This vet only cost me time and money.

My 13 pound dog was bitten by a 40 pound dog. He was left badly injured, so i immediately called Middletown Animal Clinic for help. Despite this being towards closing time, they had no problem taking me in. That same day, they where able to heal him and give him back to me with at home care instructions. (There was 0 wait time when i got there) I asked to have follow up visits, and they where kind enough to fit me in as needed without any additional charge.

Since the event, I have been calling them with questions and they always answer my call and give me valued recommendations. My dog has been recovering very fast all due to their help. Im not sure where my dog would be if it wasn't for them. Special thanks to Regina, Ross and Dr. Earl for saving my dogs live.

I have been coming here for about 1&1/2 years. The service is excellent and the staff is friendly/ helpful. I was going to another clinic before where is was it less expensive but the service was terrible and the place was cramped and grungy. Middletown offers good service at a relatively good price. I am very satisfied with the quality of care my dogs are getting. The place is very clean and the wait times have been short. I would recommend this place to a friend.

They saved my cat's life and took extremely good care of him for two days. Dr. Earle, Dr. Ross and the whole staff are awesome. My dog has also been going there for 6 years. We love them.
