Services
As busy, working New York pet owners, we sought-and rarely found-the professional, yet loving, care we needed for our pets. We started Coco and Toto in 2003 to provide others the exacting and affectionate service we always wanted for our own dogs. Using our dog walking and pet sitting experience, we've built a business based on accommodating your schedule and the specific needs of your pet. Everyone at Coco and Toto is bonded and insured and has undergone an extensive background check.
At Coco and Toto, we understand that your pet is your family member and that to put them in care of someone else requires a great deal of trust. We work hard to uphold our commitment to you and your pet, to provide the best service, and administer the best care. Our services are customized to meet your schedule and your pet's needs.
Don't leave your dog in a kennel. Call Coco and Toto. We will care for your dog in our cage-less boarding facility. Your dog will play in Doggy Daycare during the day and sleep with the pack at night under the watchful supervision of our night staff. We have 2500 square feet of space for your dog to roam free.
Dogs are creatures of habit. They also have routines they enjoy, just like people. They don't like being cooped up in an apartment all day any more than you. A half hour or a one hour walk out in the fresh air is as important to them just as food and water. When you are home, you take your dog/s for regularly scheduled walks.

I'm shocked that I was treated rudely by the owner. The issue was a miscommunication about payment from his staff to me but he acted mad at me. I tried to resolve it in person but he seemed set in his ways. So, I had to walk away and take my dog out of daycare. If this how management handles things I will not be returning.

Coco and Toto do a wonderful job grooming our Pomeranian Rocky. They are very affordable and worth the two month wait for an appointment. We have also left our dog at Coco and Toto for boarding and they are great- calling us with any concerns. They are also very flexible if we have to extend our dog's stay for an extra night or an early arrival which is appreciated. A neighborhood gem and great value

Don't go if you expect them to follow your directions I gave very clear simple instructions - do not cut my dog's hair. bath only. The groomer decided she knew better and trimmed him all over. I've since heard this happens often The only explanation I received was "your dog was difficult to manage". And that explains what?

The wonderful folks at Coco & Toto make a happy life possible for me & my pets. Whenever I travel, my dog boards with them- & he always perks up when we get near their property. That's the best review of all really. But they also make 'house calls' for my cats as needed. I love my little family a lot, & being able to rely on Ron & everybody at Coco & Toto takes the worry out of work or travel. Thanks so much, you guys!

Do NOT bring your dog here for daycare. While the front desk staff is sweet and attentive, the actual workers with the dogs are untrained, impatient and inexperienced. My dog has been to 4 different daycares and this is the only one where he's come out with a bladder that takes 3 full minutes to let out, every single time. There is only one young worker inside the dog room at a time and I figured out why they put stuff over the windows.
In the small little holes if you stay long enough without being see you will see them squirt the dogs in the face with a spray water bottle anytime they start to play with each other - and I mean even a cute little nudge. I even saw the "caretaker" fling his body at a dog in a "come at you" way trying to make the dog flinch with fear when the dog tried laying 3 times in a row, despite being sprayed. It's just awful - if you care for your fur baby don't bring them here.
My dog now has tons of anxiety about loud noises and sudden movements that he did not have before. I know pickings are slim for a good daycare in NYC but you're better off somewhere else!

This would be my 2nd experience with Coco & Toto and I am very pleased. I love how they have an entire grooming package that includes everything a dog would need to be cleaned and groomed properly. I have a Mini Goldendoodle, and since I love her shag so much, she tends to get very matted and they always remove all of it, which is pretty impressive. She came home very happy on both occasions and I absolutely recommend this spot for dog grooming!

Coco and Toto seems to be the only dog grooming establishment open in the neighborhood during the pandemic. I brought my shih tzu here who desperately needed to be groomed, and they did a wonderful job! Very reasonably priced compared to what I normally pay. I think I may continue bringing him here going forward. Thanks a ton!'

The most kind and best employee and facility for dogs nearby. This is a hells kitchen sanctuary for your little ones while at work or to drop in for a quick nail job or bath. The service you receive and the love from everyone is amazing. Only dog facility where the owner greets, treats and gives most love to your pup in the city! Thanks so much!

If you're looking for a great groomer in Hell's Kitchen, look no further! This space is convenient, friendly, clean and affordable. Full-service grooming, boarding and other services. They sell pet food, treats, toys, clothing and other supplies. They have a real neighborhood feel everytime we walk in there, it's a nice feeling. Glad to have a place we can trust to take care of our beloved pup.

BEWARE! I wish I would have read these reviews before, I trusted my King Charles spaniel to them. I dropped her off for a grooming but, when I picked her up she couldn't walk. I was very upset. I asked them what had happen to her. The owner showed no concern for my dog and immediately accused me of pulling my dog my the neck suggested it was my fault.
I was stunned. I dropped off a dog who could walk and they returned my dog to me unable to stand. The owners only concern was that he somehow try to blame me for what clearly happen at his salon. I have been at my vet all day. Stay away. 6/7/2016 Update, ny dog died after not being able to walk, she went downhill after this, I will never forgive this shop what they did, my beautiful dog, part of my family is gone because of this shop and what they did to her

My dog, Betsy, has been visiting C&T one day a week for the past three years. Betsy is a rescue, so she's hyper-sensitive. When she first arrived at her forever home she was jumpy and had some major social issues with people and other dogs. She was unable to stay in another doggie daycare environment, where she was frightened and aggressive. The folks at C&T were warm, welcoming, friendly and especially patient. She's warmed up to her C&T friends and she enjoys her weekly visits. Pet boarding is all about your pet's individual experience with the caregivers and I give C&T the highest marks!
