Since 1976, Troy Animal Hospital has been dedicated to providing the best comprehensive care possible for the pets of the Miami County and surrounding communities. While we offer a broad spectrum of comprehensive services and innovative treatment options, the core of our practice is based on the lifelong relationships we've developed with our clients and their beloved animal companions over the years. Dr. Davis grew up surrounded by animals on his family's 120-acre farm in rural Ohio. Roaming the farm and seeing the wildlife of Ohio firsthand sparked his interest in veterinary medicine, and many years later the profession is still the love of his life! Lonnie was a member of the 4H club as a young man, actively showing calves and pigs and working on conservation projects.
Kay has been with us for 20 years and her entire life starts and ends with pets (the client's and her own) and her husband, Roy. You can contact her with any pet question you have and she is willing to help you! She also ensures that the day-to-day operations run smoothly. What drives her is making pets better for the clients' lives we serve.

Dr. Davis is by Far amazing. This is definitely a practice that cares! They are not in it just for the money. They care about your well-being as much as your animals. They guided us through a few weeks it took for our dog to pass something he shouldn't have eaten. Mistakes happen within a blink of an eye!

We had to find somewhere to take our beloved, rowdy 16 yr old Anna to cross the rainbow Bridge, after our normal vet Stonyridge couldn't work us in, after 15+ years of going there. We finally found Troy Animal Hospital, and the staff and doctor were so compassionate and understanding and worked us in. They were obviously busy and didn't have to, but they did.
And at no time did I feel like I was being rushed in getting our little girl comfortable. The doc took his time explaining how everything was going to go, his steps and what to expect. I've been on this journey with several of our fur babies so I was prepared. They gave me all the time I needed to say goodbye, and I cannot overstate the kindness. I had just brought home a new puppy the day before, and he will be going here for all of his treatment. Thank you all, you are doing God's work for all of us animal lovers!

We have a small dog who has been affected with allergies and solutions from their regular vet weren't working. The vet at Troy Animal Hospital diagnosed the problems and prescribed a regimen that has vastly improved our pets quality of life after just one visit. We are Taking him back for followup and we are thrilled. 4 stars only because we have just one visit. If they continue to do good things for the pup this could easily be 5 stars.

Simply put, Troy Animal Hospital is the best. Dr Davis and his staff are professional, dedicated, courteous and very, very knowledgeable. I have been going to Troy Animal Hospital for more than 16 years and have NEVER, EVER had anything but the best of care for my dogs. If you ever have an emergency, they will always fit you into the schedule.

My sweet Golden Retriever girl had a severe allergic reaction to a common type of grass and was so scared, but the staff here calmed her down just by their calm, gentle energy. They also were kind, empathetic, and gentle with both my dog and me. They worked us in the same day I called. I can't thank them enough for helping my girl! She's doing so much better now!
