We're in the dog business because we love it. Susan was successful in more than one career before starting The Doggie Den, but dogs have always been her first love. It's the work that we love. Part of everyone's job at The Doggie Den is playing with the dogs. Whether it be playing ball or under a pile of dogs, we love to hang out with them.
We have a very laid back but, structured daycare at the doggie den! Drop off is from 7am-9am and at 9am we all go out for our first potty break dogs go out every other hr. in each group. 4:45 is last call and all are crated till pick up. Between 12pm and 1pm, the pups go into their crates for a snack (or a full lunch if you wish) and then a nap.
Our full service salon takes pride in giving your pet the best care available, treating your pet as if he/she were our own. Being groomed regularly not only keeps your dog looking, smelling, and feeling great, it also helps us build a trusting relationship with your dog. Our number one concern is your pet's well being.
Prior to opening The Doggie Den, Susan was a Human Resource Manager at a Fortune 500 computer company. Before that she was a faculty member at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Finally, in 1998 she decided to do what she loves best: devote her waking hours to dogs! She is certified by the Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council as a "Certified Canine Specialist", and has her American Red Cross certification in Pet First Aid.

We took our golden retriever to Doggie Den for the first time to be groomed. Vicky was so good with our pup from the get-go. Our dog gets very worked up with the dryer. Our previous groomer gave up on her and said that we needed to "find someone elser." Vicky made her feel comfortable and while she still did get nervous she made it through and the end result was terrific. It was by far the best groom she's had!

We have had a wonderful experience. Olivia goes for day care twice per week and doesn't want to leave! Her personality is known and celebrated and she is very well socialized as a result of having been part of the environment here at Doggie Den. We have a second Frenchie also, who is not a candidate for day care but receives grooming services (they both do!) and he gets spoiled rotten. The team knows both of our dogs and their personalities and treats them so well. it's an amazing place where you can feel good about your dog being treated well.

We are Animal Lovers and our two Siberian Huskies needed some grooming. My Girl made the appointment and tried the service for the first time. The Staff member was extremely helpful. We had a warm reception coming through the door. The facility is well equipped and animal friendly. We dropped the Doggies off and we returned 2 hours or so later and to our disbelief the Two Huskies we dropped off were not the ones we picked up.
They were almost unrecognizable in a beautiful way. Huskies shed and when shedding they look sick looking. When we picked them up they looked Beautiful! We are very grateful for the service today. Our Pets were treated well. We will most definitely use the service again. We also recommend this business to any Pet owner looking for a great service. Our expectations were met. Thank You Doggie Den!

There is only 2 places I trust with my dog Zip. Doggie den is one of those two places. I know hes cared for and safe. Zip is normally with us 24 x 7, so dropping him off at daycare is something new for him and us. The Doggie Den is a dog daycare done right. The staff is caring and great with the dogs. If you need daycare for your dog child, this one is a 5 paw place :

Our two dogs have been going to the Doggie Den a couple of days a week for the last two years and they love it! They are excited when we pull into the lot and can't wait to go in and play! At the end of the day they are happy tired dogs. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The facility is clean and they have different areas for different sized dogs. They also have a grooming service we use and they do a wonderful job grooming. I highly recommend The Doggie Den!

I've been taking my dog to the Doggie Den for 2 years now. The facility is set up very well. The people that work there are so friendly and they love each dog. My dog actually pulls me towards the door when he arrives. He can't wait to get in! I feel so great knowing that my dog is so well taken care of when I drop him off. The Doggie Den, the staff and all the dogs are incredibly special!
