Dogs at traditional kennels are kept caged virtually all day, with little or no opportunity to socialize with humans or other dogs. Indoor/outdoor runs means your dog may never be outside his cage the whole time you are on vacation. At Dogs On The Farm & Cats Too, we believe that dogs deserve a vacation too!

This was my first time boarding my two dogs, and obviously I was extremely nervous about this as my dogs can be quirky and the one is deaf. Orientation went well and I was given sufficient details with how they did. The office staff seemed very friendly and those who took my dogs back seemed really great with them even when they were jumping on them.
However there were a few hiccups with boarding them. After orientation, my dogs came out without their collar or leashes on, which the office staff took when I left them. When I asked the worker who came out where the leashes were, she did not seem too willing to go search for them and was more just like " I don't know". The office did have them. When I went to check in, their printer was not working and the woman at the front desk said that she would email it to me, which I never received.
Upon picking them up, I asked the office staff how they did since it was their first time here, she said that the boarding worker who would bring them out would let me know all the details. I also told her that I left cream cheese with them, which she said would be with the boarding worker. When I asked the worker how they did, all I got as a response was that my one dog would escape out of the room, but that they were cute.like that's great and all, but I would have liked to know things like if they were eating, if they were using the bathroom, how they were behaving with the staff and others.
This information would have been especially helpful as my one dog would not eat or poop the night I brought them home. I'm not blaming them for my dog not eating or pooping as this could be a stress response, but it would have been nice to know if he was acting like this while staying there. Once I got home, I open my belonging bag and there was no cream cheese, again not a huge deal but it was just a bunch of minor mishaps adding up.
Overall the experience was okay, the office staff seem great, the boarding staff can be hit or miss. The biggest negative was the lack of information I received regarding my dogs stay while there. Not saying I wouldn't board them there again, however I would hope that the experience goes smoother the next time around. Also I was provided no information regarding the webcam use. I tried to access it online but was unable to as I did not have a password. I definitely would have liked to use this feature

We left our two dogs at the Farm for 12 days and we're really happy with the service provided. The fact that you can see a livestream of the dogs playing during the day gave us peace of mind. On top of that, we wrote a full page describing one of our dogs pet peeves and we know the staff actually read it because we got a call from them asking for some guidance on how to move forward with a particular situation. We highly recommend the Farm.

I loved the webcams. I was able to see Chico play with other dogs and I witness all the love he received from the workers. Chico was also being trained during his stay at the farm. I also needed to extend Chico's stay and the farm and I was able to do so. The team was very responsive and helpful. The day I went to pick up Chico, he was excited to see his parents but he was a bit sad to leave. This place is hands down a great facility to leave your furry kids.

Extremely upsetting and disappointing. My puppy went 5 times. This last time, I was watching the live feeds on my computer at work during my lunch break to "check up" on my dog. A dog mounted mine- which happens- and a worker has pushed him off my dog, which again is appropriate. After the worker has pushed the other dog off mine, I witnessed the worker kick the other dog.
I immediately called to report it and it took them 3 HOURS to contact me after I left a message for them to contact me as soon as possible. Although it wasn't my dog, I am extremely upset of what I saw and what is going on here. It is unprofessional and abusive. I WILL NOT be going back here or taking my dog here again.

Layla, my 9 yr old pittie rescue has fear aggression with both people and animals, and has never been boarded. Within the first minute of check in, a tech was on the floor scratching her head and taking off her collars. She completely warmed up to all of them and even made two dog friends during her week stay - she came home happy and upbeat. Thank you for the amazing experience for my girl!

Our dog loves this place. He gets excited every time we say we're taking him to the farm, practically running to the car and ready to go. The staff is very friendly and does their best to provide a safe and fun environment for all our dogs. They have different activities that you can sign your dog up for. Indy is a high energy dog, he definitely sleeps in the next day. We take him 1-3 times a week and then he is a lot less rambunctious at night. If anyone from the farm is reading this. Indy says "HI I LOVE YOU GUYS"!

Our dog Ralph has been a work in progress, being a stray rescued in Jan '21, there are lots of things he is scared of and many things he does not like. But he likes everyone here! Just picked him up from boarding he's been there since our home flooded due to Ida and he's come back with less fear of people or other dogs and some serious confidence. The staff take excellent care of the dogs and are super sweet people! Can't wait to enroll him in training with you! Love you guys

We love dogs on the farm and my dog has been going to daycare at their facility for 2 years and every so often we use their boarding services as well. They are super attentive and their staff is so kind and genuine. My dog, Duke, loves swimming in the pools when he goes there! We are so grateful that they are so close by and consistently awesome.
