Sally delighted visitors by bringing one or more of her whippets to the shop on a regular basis, and the show crowd often found just what they were seeking. As Lafayette and Erie grew, Sally and J.P. Rick lost their treasured rural solitude and moved to the centre of several acres in Grand Junction.

We took our miniature labradoodle here today & we are very pleased with the results. This is our first grooming experience with our little pup. My girlfriend and I were both unsure where to take him for his first appointment, we can sincerely say the owner met our expectations- thank you. Will be back!

Took our dog to Bark Avenue for the first time cause we wanted to support local businesses. The lady was rude and acted as if we were bothering her, first off but hey she might of had a bad day. Problems I have is when we picked our dog up she was almost totally shaved bald, we even showed her a picture of what we wanted her to look like. I also noticed when we picked her up she was squinting but didst think to much about it until we got home five minutes later she was totally holding her eye closed, so my wife went in to ask the lady if there were any issues with our dog with another dog or anything, she just said "nothing happened to that dog". Well, we took our dog to the vet and found out she had an ulcer on here eye which is caused by blunt force trauma.
If there were not issues with my dog then that shouldn't have been the diagnosis. Either something happened or not, either way we were lied to. Please for someone searching for a new dog groomer be careful about this one.

My mother took her dog here to get groomed. She has a small yorkie and when she went in she told the girl she wanted her to have a bath and to just even out her skirt and tidy her ears. Also to leave her beard alone. The lady completely shaved off all her hair. Her beard, her skirt, her ears and in spots she was very uneven and looked horrible. My mother expressed that was not what she asked for and was very unhappy with what she did.
The lady got a horrible attitude and started yelling and screaming at my mother. My mother decide to just pay and leave it be. She would even her out and just wait for her hair to grow back in. When she went to pay the girl tried to charge her more the what was discussed when she made the appointment. Also they dont take credit cards which was never stated to my mother. So she had to run out and get money to pay her. It was a horrible experience. If I could give her 0 stars I would.

Worst experience of my life, not to mention my dogs'! I took my Maltese to Bark Avenue, and upon making the appointment the owner was very short with me on the phone. On the day that I took my dog she acted like she didn't even want to be bothered with my business! When I finally went back to pick my Maltese up (4 hours later) she was traumatized!
She was sitting in a cage shaking and very disturbed. She had started chewing off her tail and chewing at her feet. She was salivating profusely and was soaking wet! The groomer/owner was in disbelief, but proceeded with the payment. After returning home with my dog I had to give her a second bath and then she started vomiting. I called Bark Avenue to see if she had been given any treats and she replied, "no, I don't give treats".
I know that was false because what my dog was throwing up was whole and nothing I had ever given her. My poor dog ended up going to the vet and had to get shots to calm her nerves and settle her stomach. Not to mention this was by far the worst haircut my dog has ever received.
