What a great place to visit! We spent hours exploring the gardens and looking at all the different birds. Terri gave us a guided tour and drove us around on the golf cart. This really add d to the enjoyment of viewing the gardens and was worth the extra money. It is also pleasant to walk on your own. There are bible scriptures all around and also descriptions of the birds. They have areas where you can hold the birds and a nursery with baby birds. There is entertainment for all ages. I highly recommend visiting Parrot Mountain!

Fantastic place to go through if you want to check out a large amount of birds! The website is not exactly correct though. It says that you will walk through and you will have a bunch of birds land on you. However there's only two small areas that are like that. One is in the nursery and the other is in the lorikeet cage. This experience was absolutely great! Having 13 birds myself, 10 being parrots I loved being around the different birds, especially one's that I haven't seen before! The staff were friendly. I'd highly recommend visiting this place

Beautiful place to visit! The petting/feeding area was amazing. The birds that would bite were marked so you knew and the others were so friendly and gentle. The nursery was the best, you could pet, hold and learn about the birds. You could even purchase a bird if that is what you needed. Visit at your own pace and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

We had SO much fun here! Not only can you see a large variety of birds but you have ample opportunity to feed, pet, and hold birds. It was very refreshing to see that many birds did not have cages. Those that did had ample space and were clearly well taken care of. We met two birds who had recently been adopted and came in with a lot of missing feathers.
This place is not just buying and showing off pretty birds (although the birds truly are gorgeous!) They are giving a good life to birds in need. The staff was sweet and clearly happy to be there. If you are wearing a button down or a baseball hat, be prepared to lose a button or two. The birds may like you so much that they want to keep a little piece. We had such a good time, we will 100% be coming back the next time we visit.

Amazing experience! My daughter suggested this and we weren't sure, but it turned out to be one of the best activities we did. We got to see, hold and feed exotic birds from all over the world. Absolutely beautiful creatures. I fell in love with the green parrot and was told I could come inside and hold the baby green parrots. I wanted one so bad and they were selling for $5000. We have 4.yes 4 cats at home.couldn't do it. We were afraid the one large male would get the bird somehow. Anyways.great experience!

You gotta love birds to love this place. That said, I absolutely loved it here. The staff was super sweet and helpful. The birds were all so beautiful and easy to fall in love with. You can tell they're very socialized and are happy to interact with you. There's a section for feeding and holding birds. All other birds are clearly identified as potential biters, so pay attention and you'll be fine. We spent a couple hours here and thoroughly enjoyed our time.
