Murphy's Paw

This is a really cute shop and filled with unique and interesting treats and goodies for your pup or kitty. However when I came in on a Saturday afternoon, the person working there was restocking and did not acknowledge me the whole time I was browsing, despite not having anyone else in the store. I was interested in purchasing some stuff but ended up leaving early because it was so awkward and I couldn't tell if they were in a bad mood.

A small pet store that has specialized items that you sometimes cannot find at regular pet stores. A little pricey

Staffs were nice and helpful. Good quality pet food and fair prices.

Have a great selection of treats for my dog. They are always so friendly. We used to live nearby and would go all the time but we moved and can't go as much now.

I love Murphys Paw. I'm so glad that there are 2 stores now. The staff are really nice and helpful. Was able to get a birthday cake for my 13 year old puppy.

Cute little pet store in downtown Pleasanton full of adorable toys and yummy (through the eyes and nose of my dog) treats. Saw some really pretty raincoats and vests but wished they had the more sizes (M) as many of the available sizes left were either for small or large dogs. I picked up a stuffed gnome doll and I'm so in love - obviously it's for me more so than my dog son. Reasonable prices and friendly service - love it.

While a bit on the expensive side, Murphy's Paw makes for a fun experience to visit every time we walk downtown. My dog already knows the place by heart and runs up every time. We've bought some cute sweaters, the auto dog water bottle, and plenty of no hide treats.

Thank you for always being so helpful. Our doggy loves your treats and toys. I was able to get a delivery to my pleasanton home amidst this pandemic. That was very kind and I appreciate it. Can't wait to go back to shop.

Endless appreciation for Murphy's Paw for getting us through this crazy year. They've kept all of Bowie's food and treats in stock, the store is meeting/exceeding all of the guidelines for Covid safety. and the staff is always friendly, patient and well-informed.

I love this store so much! They have CBD dog treats frozen dog food treats and an amazing supply of jackets for my little hairless girls and my elderly Pom. Everything they sell is high quality and prices are very reasonable. It's also a wonderful local small business! Highly recommended!

Murphy's Paw is great! We are currently "sheltering in place" but needed some treats for our pup. We want to support as many small businesses as we can and Murphy's Paw came through. I emailed the store with some questions and what I was looking for and Dean responded quickly with photos and pricing. We ordered and paid over the phone and they met us outside when it was time to pick up at their Livermore location.

They also added a couple of goodies to our bag! Great customer service and super friendly team of people. I'll definitely be shopping at Murphy's Paw in the future!

I walked into Murphy's Paw for the first time a few months ago & knew I found the perfect pet store for my new puppy (and me!). The product selection is excellent; unique and varied. Customer service above and beyond! But the best part of all is that Murphy's Paw is a family owned business that LOVES animals and you feel that the moment you walk into their store.

The owners and employees were very helpful in special ordering a dog collar for me. They checked in often to make sure order details were correct & kept me posted on arrival dates. My puppy is now adorned with her new collar, and I can't wait to head back to Murphy's Paw the next time I'm in town! The "Best of the Best" - period.

What's not to love? Kimchi enjoyed exploring, Dean and Jay were the dream team and they had lots of treats, toys, leashes, harnesses, bowls and of course the Bark Potty I came for. The selection was great and the prices are competitively priced. Dean was kind enough to help us find a no pull harness for Kimchi and fitted him for us. He was very patient with our wiggle worm. Dean genuinely loves his customers and store.

It was very apparent that he takes pride in his shop and employees, he proudly shared that all of the baked goods are created by one of his employees. One of the things that I found refreshing was super simple but no one has ever offered to close his shop doors so Kimchi didn't run out while he was off leash. We can't wait to come back next month for a new potty and new toys and treats.

Went to Murphy's Paw and picked up a grain free cupcake and treats for our birthday dog. They have an amazing selection of treats, toys, and dog accessories. Our dog absolutely loved the cupcake and devoured it before the birthday song was over. Thanks Murphy's Paw for making our dog's birthday so special!

Not sure if there's a cuter store anywhere! Love, love, love this place they have stuff for your furry friends as well as your pet luvin friends. If you find yourself on Main St. for any reason this place is a must! They have a great staff (No, I don't work there!) and some super cute gifts! Bonus you can get your pooch a cookie and bring him in with you. Then grab yourself a cookie next door at the fabulous bakery. You're welcome!

Nice little pet store. They carry OutFox masks that provide protection against foxtails and burrs. It is very helpful to be able to try the fit before purchase. Our girl had no problem wearing the mask. Did confuse some of the other dogs we met.

Awesome pet store! Located in downtown Pleasanton, there's a lot of street parking. I came here to buy a birthday biscuit for my little dog! It was about $5.95 for 1, and it comes in blue & pink color. My dog liked it! (not love though) this biscuit is fairly big so took him a while to finish. This store also has great treats, clothes, harnesses, food & even cat marijuana! Overall good store with good selection & nice staff! They even have food samples too for people to take home.

Super cute store. I found this cute raincoat and I got a lot of compliments for it! Everyone is super nice at the store and there is a huge selection of things. I wish there were a little more xs options for a pup like me but overall I can't complain!

Murphy's Paw has everything you would want for your furry loved ones. Their service is great due to all the staff that are very helpful. I always try to support local business.

Really chic. If I was in the mood to buy my already spoiled pup something after a fancy lunch, I would have. Some standouts of the store include their cat marijuana, local teamwear and pet strollers. As if parading your dog along Main St. wasn't enough, yes, they have pet strollers. "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong" so before any meltdowns, barky tantrums or summer dress humpings--meet those urges with a chewable or refrigerated cupcake for your bud. That, or give them a whirl in one of those strollers and see how they like it. Woof, dey'tiis.

Every since i got my fourlegged child (which was 4yrs ago) i always come here every month of May to get his "birthday" cake and let him pick a toy as well for his gift. Lol! They have tons of selection of different products for your pet. This store is neat and located in downtown Pleasanton. I meet the owner ones, their so friendly and very accommodating.

Once in a while you would see their big black dog i think its a Newfoundland. I thought at first it was a stuff toy and then it moved. Lol! And of coarse it scare the bejesus of my little shih tzu and he starts barking like cray.

Didn't really know what I wanted to buy but wanted to get something. Walked in and few people around. A hello would have been nice. There was a girl standing there staring at me but she didn't say anything. Decided on some cat treats but again when I went to pay, there was no hello or greeting. The cashier took my item to be purchased and rang me up.

I paid and there was no thank you from the cashier. Irritated by the lack of simple communication in a retail store. Say something to make customers feel welcomed and want to buy! And a thank you would be nice after a purchase! In fact I said thank you to the cashier for handing me my change! Hmpf!

Cute little store for your fur baby! Come here every year for my baby's birthday treats. They have cute cupcakes and happy birthday cookies! Their price makes it even better!

Excellent store, with a wonderful variety of items. We mainly come here for the high quality food and other treats that they carry, but there's also a very fun selection of toys. Also love that they carry jerseys and other sport-related accessories so our pup can show off her team spirit too. The staff is very helpful. Once, they did not have the flavor of food we were looking for, and were very happy to order it for us and called as soon as it came in. Also, love the Bark and Brew events that they hold from time to time!
