Great experience. Learned a lot. Kaye is knowledgeable and thorough. She took her time explaining tips and techniques for the issues with our pup. Handled the little 5 pounder gently and well. Demonstrated with our dog and then watched me do the same. Instructing and helping me do it correctly. Made sure I understood all her suggestions. And even made notes for me. Clean facility. Oh, and she was nice too!

I've tried so many trainers and none of them have the patience and knowledge that Paige has shown me. I adopted little Sparky during the pandemic and I have no prior experience training dogs. I started taking private lessons from Paige and she caters to my inexperience and goes at a pace that works best for me. She's very sweet and Sparky loves her.
It's hard to find someone who actually cares about their clients and you can tell she loves what she does. I've done in-person training and online classes and both work great for my crazy schedule. Sparky has come a long way and it's amazing actually seeing a change in his behavior.

After repeated emails requesting information, we were never contacted or responded to about our questions after our training course was completed. Our dog completed this training program and once completed we were never sent or given a certificate of completion from Kaye Ames. I change my 4 star review down to a two star. Better communication would be an improvement. Only benefit from this was the social interaction with other puppies.

I don't feel like my puppy received adequate training. Most of the classes consisted of Kaye telling tales of past puppies she trained or neighborhood dogs she met. She never knew which week we were on. She claimed the program was over earlier than it actually was because she forgot she canceled class to go to a dog show. My puppy graduated over a month ago & have yet to receive her diploma or graduation pictures.
There were times we didn't receive homework until the next week; sometimes the wrong homework was sent, & there were times we didn't receive them at all. I am well aware that training starts at home which is why the entire family has been on board with clicker training & positive reinforcement, however most of the skills she that she has learned & retained where from YouTube videos at home- not Kaye. The only positive thing that came from class was our pup, Raja, was exposed to other puppies.
