I am new to having a pup and needed help getting started with good doggie & human habits and behaviors, and with understanding how my pup thinks, acts, and reacts. We live on an island in the Caribbean, so being able to work with Laura at WoofGang via online training sessions, and being able to do check-ins for some of my questions and concerns, has been wonderful.

Laura's experience, knowledge, and patience helped us tremendously. She is a committed professional with vast knowledge about dog tendencies, breeds, interactions, and communication behaviors.
A serious concern inherent in size disparities between dogs or between a dog and a cat, for instance, is that of predatory drift, in which the smaller animal moves in a prey-like way that triggers a sudden predatory response from the larger dog or a group of dogs. This is a recipe for potentially deadly disaster.
Consider a sit to be your dog's way of saying "please." This can be especially helpful when you need her to wait quietly while you juggle your belongings. Before you give her a tasty treat, cross an intersection or open the door -- before virtually any activity she considers wonderful -- wait until she's sitting pretty!

After meeting with a few different trainers we are so happy we made the decision to go through Laura's program. We were very impressed with her techniques and she made it very easy to schedule and follow up on each lesson. Her training program is top-notch if you are dealing with a young puppy or energetic dog that needs to adjust to life at home with a family.

Contacting Laura at WoofGang was the best decision we could have made when we got our new 2 year old beagle. She was minimally trained and had little to no experience living in a home. Laura has provided amazing service and has helped us learn so many new skills and techniques for proper training. She was very patient and accommodating of our needs, and worked around our busy schedule when needed during the holidays.
The check ins during the months were so helpful to stay on top of things, and both of our dogs had a great time listening and learning new tricks! We noticed a significant improvement in our dogs behavior from the training and techniques. We couldn't recommend Laura enough and will 100% be contacting her in the future.

Laura is by far the absolute best dog trainer and behaviorist I have ever known. She is dedicated to her profession, and has worked many years honing her skills. Over the years, my rescue has worked with many trainers. Some were abusive, some well meaning but inexperienced, and some were just not competent. Laura NEVER failed us and more importantly she never failed the dogs we were trying to help. Laura is awesome!

Not sure where to begin to tell about how much Laura has helped me with training issues with both of my dogs. With positive reinforcement, she has helped me shape my youngest guy from a canine 'juvenile delinquent' into a loving, polite companion. All of Laura's methods are kind and go towards establishing a solid relationship with your canine companion.
With my older guy, she helped me eliminate some of the reacitivity he was exhibiting towards other dogs. I also LOVE Laura's website and frequently go there to read about various behavioral problems and their solutions. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Laura came to my home punctually. After just a few moments I knew that she was the equivalent of the dog whisperer. She worked with Trix and stayed patient with him despite the fact that he was a little slow. It was very clear that she was able to read his cues and motivate him appropriately. She is highly dedicated to her craft and has the knowledge base that gave me the confidence to trust her with my four-legged fur-baby. I highly recommend her to any dog owner that needs assistance with the management and training of their pet.
