I have been looking for a vet for nearly 3 years since I moved here. I initially came here as I was interested in laser therapy for my dog and was very unhappy with my previous vet since I couldn't seem to help alleviate my dogs pain. This is a world of difference. The laser therapy is so helpful and there is a great convienance in how you can schedule appointment online.

It's also very reasonably priced. I've seen a huge difference in my dog. I've had two vets call and check in her progress unprompted which made me feel like they really care. Today really sealed for me how much I appreciate finding this office. We had a medical emergency and they worked my dog in, took great care of her, and kept in great communication. Chris at the front desk is so sweet and all the techs are so good with my dog during therapy.

It's a huge weight off my shoulders knowing that even though this is a hard time with my dogs health issues, I have other people advocating and caring for her. Very grateful I found this place.

Terrible and upsetting. My husband and I had to take off work and come to this vet clinic and waited for thirty minutes in a room with no one to come and check on us. We showed up promptly and finally we just left. The receptionist didn't seem to care and no one seemed to notice. Absolutely no one was on the waiting room. No one seems care at this vet clinic.

Will go somewhere else. I cant blame the vet here. Didnt get to meet them but geez louise. You'd think they person sitting at the front desk would feign a smile, a greeting, check on us or something. I get it. High turnover rate, blah, blah, blah but take some pride in your job. I got a bad vibe from the receptionist when we walked in and I had a bad feeling in my stomach.

They weren't friendly at all. They didn't greet us. Just took us to a room and said nothing. I thought, fine, okay, just weird women I guess. My husband was worried because we are new to town and he said "did you look at the reviews" and I said "yeah, they seem okay." and the longer we waited I felt like it was a sign that we shouldn't be there. I could hear people laughing in some back room somewhere while we looked at our phones.

I am so upset that I went here. Its just right around the corner from where we live. anyway. To make matters worse I called to let the know that we had left. The women who answered the phone simply said- "okay" and I said "okay, you don't care that we left?" and she said "I will let them know" and I said "you left us waiting in the room for thirty minutes without any clue as to why or even checking up on us and she said "well we were waiting for your records" and I said "okay, that is fine but it would have been nice if someone would have let us know that".

The whole thing is strange. Lack of communications skills and customers service. There was no reason for our encounter at the vets office to go this way. We moved and I miss our old vet clinic who, if they kept someone waiting, would have had much better manners and customers service than this and let us know. BUT they never kept us waiting and their office was packed.

I am not being petty. There are many other vet clinics in this town who would not treat a paying customers like this. I cant imagine they care lol but here is my review anyway. What a weird place with bad vibes. Yikes.

Long but worth the read if you're looking for a new vet: This past week I brought my dog here for the first time and had the best experience I've had so far at a vet. No exaggeration! My dog was leaking a concerning discharge from her lady parts that was later diagnosed as Pyometra. Dr. Johnson/Dr. Frazier both took the time to exam my dog, run different tests, and give their honest opinion with no biased on what we should do for my dog.

Even when they were sure what it may be, they re-did the test to be sure. Dr. Frazier gave us different options and encouraged us to do what we felt was right, even if that meant going to another vet. NEVER pushing us or rushing us to make a decision. (We were there for over 2 hours, past close, and no-one made us feel bad or uncomfortable for being there so long).

She ended up having surgery the next morning and they took great care of her. All of the people at this practice, from front desk to vet tech and Dr's, are very genuine and trustworthy. That's something you can't put a price on. We've had multiple iffy experiences at 2 different vets in Knoxville and really lost hope in finding a good place. Check this place out, even if it's just for a general exam! We'll definitely be bringing all 3 of our dogs here for life!

I came to NAH from a friend's recommendation. Very pleased with the caring treatment of my baby girl. Very concerned, listen, love each pet, and treat the owners with respect. I am so glad I found this group. Wasn't impressed with the groomer. I learned the hard way on this particular service. If you want a breed specific cut I'd find a good independent groomer.but if you want a bath, nail trim you're good to go. This group rates an excellent score from this old retired teacher who was strict when grading work. Thanks guys for going the extra mile!

I've worked with Dr. Johnson and Dr. Stock at NAH and they are both wonderful! Having an accident-prone puppy, I'm always so grateful that the clinic has been able to get me in on short notice multiple times. Dr. Johnson even comes up with creative ways to do treatments on my fearful, face-shy pup. The staff treats you and your pet like family!

Very friendly, relayed knowledge in a clear to understand way without apearing demeaning and found an answer for my dogs stomach problems where others had failed. Very highly recommend

We have always had good experiences with Northshore Animal Hospital. Our Brittany Spaniel, Tuck, has stayed overnight there and has always been a happy boy. He also had his big boy surgery there and they done a wonderful job! What stands out to me is the quality of service during the pandemic. Super clean and safe transactions. Not to mention, they have a friendly staff! Would recommend!

This is by far the very best veterinarian group and all the staff are ah-mazing. Thank you Dr. Stock for loving my pet family so well. We have gone through the loss of a pet to a brand new puppy with Dr. Stock and we can't thank her enough for her knowledge, her caring and loving our animal kiddos! I'm just amazed every phone call or visit how friendly everyone is and the time you all take for pet parents. You all are appreciated!

Dr. Johnson and the staff here are amazing and wonderful. I have a dog and recently had to put my precious cat Chloe to rest. Dr. Johnson was very honest, thorough and gave me all my options. She allowed me to go home before I had to make any decisions and call her when I had any questions. I did have to call her a couple of times and she would stay on the phone with me to answer all questions.

She was so patient with me, kind and so compassionate. When the time came, I wasable to come in with a mask on to be with my Chloe. Dr. Johnson walked me through the whole process and made sure I was comfortable and my Chloe was as comfortable as possible. The reviews for this place is what brought me here as I was looking for a good veterinarian since I had just moved from another state.

I had a very wonderful veterinarian and wanted the same here in Tennessee. I found that here at this place. These reviews matter, which is why I feel it is important to share my experience and how I feel. You know by the way the staff and Doctors here treat you and your animals that they truly care. This is my place. It's just me and my dog Mandy now but this is where she goes and Dr. Johnson is her Veterinarian. Thank you Northshore Animal Hospital for being such.
