Services
At Folly Road Animal Hospital and Kennel (FRAH), we provide your pet with quality, professional medical services in a loving and caring environment. Led by Thomas J. Sheridan, DVM, the FRAH staff includes two front desk assistants, an office manager, three veterinarian assistants and five kennel assistants.
All appointments should be made by telephone, (843) 762-4944, emails sent to thefrahfd@gmail.com, or in person at the hospital: 1038 Folly Road, James Island, Charleston, SC. If you are a registered client of the Folly Road Animal Hospital, you can also schedule your appointment online, though your pet's personal PetPortal.

The people here are absolutely amazing. They have been there for us as our old pup Rosie passed away, and for our new puppy when he was too sick to eat or drink. They follow up and always make the time if it's an emergency. Dr McGeorge (I think I got the name right) was incredible, as were the staff who helped us. We will never go anywhere else.

I can't really say enough about Dr Tom Sheridan and his staff. My dog was "diagnosed" at another hospital to the tune of $2500 and they never figured out what the issue was. One visit to FAH and Tom discovered the malady. Unfortunately my old boy needed to be put down. He and his staff were always caring, compassionate and professional. They were kind enough to mail out a card and I'm forever grateful. A+ staff and service.

We found an injured bird and drove to several vets on James Island and none of them would help. I want to give a shout out to Folly Rd Animal Hospital! They took the little guy in to save his life. So, if they'll do that for something they aren't getting paid for. I am impressed. No other vet on James Island that we went to before them even cared. they all sent me away!

WORST VET on james island! i made an appointment for my dog who had an ear infection. upon arriving home i noticed the ear infection had not been treated so i called the office to see if we could swing back by since they forgot no big deal mistakes happen but on the phone i was told by the doctor that i had refused treatment for my dogs ear infection and that i could not have the ear treatment even tho i had already paid for it. in addition the doctor was pretty rude in general and there was a lot of rough treatment toward my dog if i could give no stars i would
