Losing a dog or cat can be as devastating as losing a friend or family member. It is often hard to know how to ease the pain of losing a beloved pet. While only time can heal, a thoughtful memorial gift can let someone know you are thinking of them in their time of sorrow. These items are unique, many made locally and available customized.

Disrespectful. Went in for a harness fitting for my pooch. Was recommended by my neighbor. The girl who helped me obviously had no clue what she was doing, and I believe the manager was assisting. Sort of anyways. Mid fitting of a harness the manager wandered off to go get her coffee. My neighbor said some staff people had recently changed when I told him about the experience. Appears I missed out on a great and helpful atmosphere and instead got, nothing.
On to the next pet store I go. I will edit to respond to the response of this store's owner. The lady that left for coffee, literally said, she was going to go get her coffee. Probably that is normally fine, except the younger lady helping me, had no way of assisting my needs properly with the fitting. I already got a much easier harness at another store.

VERY DISAPPOINTING I made a special trip to this store, a friend told me this was the place to go in Santa Fe on my trip. In fact a few years ago she gifted me a collar from this store for my new puppy I had then, it was great. From the front door it did not go well, as I walked I crunched on debris all over the floor, and there was dried pee in numerous places, I was very glad I had NOT brought my dog with me.
The employees never noticed I was in the store for a prolonged time, and it was shocking to see employees with no masks on and no protection in place at checkout to seperate employee from customer. I know mask rules are changing, but even in my state where masks are not common, employees wear them. I walked around the store trying to find the charm my friend spoke about.
I've worked a lot of retail in my life and all I could see, was a mess. I wanted to look at simple nylon collars, I couldn't, boxes of cat trees blocked the display. Why are there socks just scattered on the floor and not hanging up? Again next to a dried up puddle of pee. The food area is topsy-turvy, it really doesn't take long to put bags right side up.
The most agregious thing, a bag of dog food with a sold tag on it with the persons name, phone number, AND CREDIT CARD NUMBER, visible to anyone, out on the main floor, an offense that in my world equals suspension or down right getting fired. (I have a photo of this! I will not post it publicly out of respect for whomever this information belongs to!) Still at this point I was not noticed by staff and decided this place was not worth my time or money, it was not very busy either. To me this is simple, you care about your customers, or you don't. You care about appearance or you don't. Obviously the people running this store, don't care about either.

There was so much in this store & I loved how they had local items. I was at the square looking for something to bring back to my dog and a lady recommended this place. I did get her a few local goodies. The only reason I took away one star is that I felt like staff wasn't very personable and helpful. I think I circled it a few times, trying to find what I saw online.
