Your pet needs regular dental care just like you do. Cleaning your pet's teeth on a regular basis can help maintain healthy teeth throughout the duration of his or her life. Not only does dental cleaning preserve your pet's teeth but it can also lead to additional health benefits. Many of the bacteria that develop in your pet's teeth can pass into the internal organs and lead to health problems.
Every year many dogs are bitten by rattlesnakes and suffer through significant pain and trauma. Treatment can be costly, between $1,500 to $10,000. Many dogs don't survive. This is particularly a problem in Southern California. While vaccines can help in helping your dog survive a bite, the best solution is Rattlesnake Avoidance Training.

Boarded my dog here for a week. After about 3 days they stopped sending me updates. I had to call for an update and they said, "there are no notes so she's probably fine." When I picked her up and got her home, I noticed she had a slight limp and an open wound on her leg. They called to tell me they forgot to give me one of my dog's prescriptions and when I raised the wound issue, they were surprised no one told me and that they saw it earlier. My consolation from management was a small bag of pill pockets. Will never bring my dog here again.

I had a terrible experience with K9 Loft! I started to bring my puppy to the daycare so she could get used to it. The day I actually had to leave her there for a few hours because of work K9Loft's staff placed her in their boarding zone/kennel instead of the play zone. I figured it out because I had to call them asking why I can't see my dog on the web camera.
They told me that she's 6 months old and according to their rules she can't stay in the play area since she's not spayed. I'm not questioning the rules BUT the day before that they took her in without any questions. Also, they had to tell me about it while checking in because I wasn't OK with her being isolated for a few hours (the guy on the phone actually lied to me saying that they told me about it!) She doesn't stay home alone yet and that's the reason I brought her to the daycare.
I had to leave work earlier to pick her up as soon as possible and she was absolutely terrified and very stressed out when I picked her up! Thank you K9Loft for an "amazing" opportunity to start separation anxiety issues in my puppy!

Overall amazing experience. I brought my lil pup for the first time, a golden doodle named Perry, for grooming & they just took such good care of her! I also browsed the huge selection they have in store & the salesperson, Kenya, was so helpful & helped me choose out the perfect sugar-free vegan kibble for Perry. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Rafaela and Sabine, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and care. I could not recommend this business enough - people who work here truly care about dogs and their well-being. Val, the owner is also very involved, helpful, and caring. Thank you, K9 loft, I wish you prosperity and many more years in business!

Our dog has gotten kennel cough 3 times, Oral papillomatosis, and come home with bite and scratch scabs all over his body since going to daycare here. Apparently, they do not screen the dogs coming in, nor do they check if they are doing or felling well, or if vaccinations are complete and up-to-date. Plus, they don't seem to watch the dogs through the day that well, just leave it up to the webcams for you to do it yourself I suppose? We're done sending our pups here, too much added stress and expense to us. I would avoid the daycare and boarding.

I'm confused, has management changed? There seems to be something off here lately. My major complaint is that they require FIVE vaccinations for grooming. I understand that we need to keep everyones dog healthy, but this is extreme. I have always kept my vaccinations up to date but I just found out they know require Canine Influenza and Leptospirosis, which each requires two shots over a period of a month.
I just needed a haircut and a nail trim, unfortunately, I will just go to another groomer. K9 made it sound like these vaccinations were a mandated requirement for all of LA County, but its not. It's a recommendation. Almost no other groomer I called is expecting these, and after coming on here and reading some of the most recent reviews, I may have to think twice about coming back to K9. This place used to have stellar reviews when I first started coming here. Something has changed. :

Can't call to find out if they have any available appointments to book a grooming. They tell you in order to be told anything you must create a profile first and waste your time. May want to change that method as it's pointless and just explains why your business has terrible reviews to begin with. Poor management and policies.

ONLY GO HERE IF YOU WANT THE GROOMER TO INJURE YOUR DOG. I had my dog booked, got canceled on twice, then finally got in with Mayra. Not only was the cut terrible, but when I got home I discovered that she literally caused my dog to bleed and did not tell me about it. Just simply gave him back to me hoping I wouldn't notice a quarter-sized laceration.
Photo below. Not only do they show complete callousness towards your pet, the staff does not have one slight concern for any issues you may bring up to them. They are rude and inconsiderate. I'll never take my dog back here and I would encourage no one to get their dog groomed here unless they want to risk physical bodily harm.

Terrible choppy haircut! Groomer was late, it seems my dog's grooming was rushed and they didn't finish - blaming the dogs anxiety. They still had the nerve to charge almost the full price. Perhaps if the groomer was professional, was not late and took her time my service would have been complete. High expectations, poor results.

K9 loft quoted a price for my dogs bath and cut at $74. When I brought him in for his appointment I was informed that the proper groomer who does scissor cuts was not in and I needed to come back the next day. The salesperson advised that we do the bath and come back for the haircut. I was charged $54 and the balance would be $21 Instead when I arrived for the haircut i was told that it would be an additional $60 i Wouldn't have done the bath an cut if I had told I it would be $120 from the beginning this is double the amount of any other groomer for the same service including healthy spot and bone sweet bone i feel I was mislead K9 Loft would not honor the amount quoted nor refund what I already paid Diahonest business practices in a community doesnt go unnoticed i will dispute the amount already charged and go elsewhere

Love LOVE Love K9 Loft. We have been bring our Black Lab, Keanu to K9 in Echo Park for daycare since moving to Silver Lake back in September. What stands out to us so much from the beginning is how clean the facility is and how amazing the team is there. They are totally engaging with the dogs and always cleaning up behind the dogs. We love the ability to log into their webcams so we can see what he is up to at any point of his stay.
I have to admit that it is super relaxing to just watch dogs play. A couple of times when our daughter has been stressed out she just logs in and tunes out and smiles. What a great perk! Keep up the great work that you all do!

I came to k9 loft for the first time just recently. They did a full groom with flea shampoo. They were absolutely amazing! Every staff member was professional and very helpful. The groomer took time to talk to me and meet my doggo. Great selection of dog products all around. I'm glad I found this place.

My pup loves this daycare and always comes home totally exhausted. In fact, he's usually worn out for the next day or so. The shuttle service is awesome too! If I'm at home and I see that he's starting to bounce off the walls I can call the shuttle and they'll come pick him up. And drop him off later.

I would like to introduce you to Bentley. Bentley is a Pomeranian Shih-Tzu with LOTS of fur. Bentley got groomed today at K9 Loft. His very first visit there. Bentley HATES to be groomed and is DIFFICULT at best. We are simply amazed with the results. Santiago was his groomer and did everything I asked for (which is hard with Bentley's anxiety) beautifully.
We have been struggling to find a regular groomer and I think we finally hit pay dirt. Bentley will definitely be a regular for Santiago. The store it self is great. I really liked their selection of yours and treats. Better and more diverse than other chain pretty stores. All in all, we are very pleased and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Also they fit us in on the same day and were quicker than other groomers we've been to in the past.
As I was doing of my Bentley, there was a doggy being picked up, literally was refusing to leave the store. Opener said hey did loved the store and always resists leaving THANK YOU SANTIAGO and staff

Please save yourself the heartache, time and money. My husband just picked up our labradoodle and her coat was completely shaved off by the groomer. The discussion between the groomer and my husband was that the few mats she had would be shaved and that it would look patchy because we wanted to keep her the rest of her coat long. Originally, she went in for a trim and to shave the mat under her chin.
Instead THEY SHAVED OFF HER ENTIRE COAT DURING THE MIDDLE OF WINTER. Something we never consented to. On top of that it's totally uneven (see photos). She completely hacked off her lashes on one eye. When I spoke to the manager he said our dog was severely matted (she wasn't) and that my husband signed off on a form (always read what you actually sign).
Our poor Gemma is acting extremely skittish - a way she's never acted before - and I can only assume it's anxiety from what happened to her. Can't get our money or her hair back (THE MIDDLE OF WINTER!), but hopefully can help others from suffering the same fate and heartbreak.

I should have known from some of the other grooming reviews. First off, it says that it may take three hours on the website. When I took him in, the groomer (who didn't seem happy at all) met with me and said it could take four or five hours? I explained to her exactly what I wanted with Archie's haircut. I wanted all of his hair overall to be slightly shorter but I still really wanted him to look scruffy.
Three hours later I called to ask if he was almost ready and was told they hadn't started yet! So my poor dog had been shoved into a kennel for three hours? FIVE HOURS LATER, I got a call that he was ready. I picked him up and not only did she completely cut his hair super short and extremely unevenly (he now has cowlicks for godsakes!) but the worst part is that the idiot also cut his whiskers!?!
All the way down! What kind of amateur groomer cuts a dogs whiskers? This is absolutely unacceptable! I spoke with a manager a few days later (no manager in that day or the next) who fully refunded me when he saw before and after pics of my dog and was "mortified", but to make things worse, it has been almost five weeks since the fiasco and my poor pup is so disoriented and nervous.
He is terrified of stairs now, certain edges of walls freak him out. He can't even go down the hallway in my house! He starts and then backs out of the hallway! He is a completely changed dog and I'm going to be extremely upset if he doesn't eventually get back to normal once his whiskers grow back in. To cut a dogs whiskers, is ridiculous.
That groomer should be fired. Of course, they refused to tell me her name when I first called the day we got home. I was also told that they're not "allowed to divulge how long she has been working here"? Don't take your beloved furry family members here. I am devastated and heartbroken that I took him to someone who doesn't know the first thing about grooming.

We have our regular spot for pet supplies nearby, but every time we've been to K9 Loft over the past 10 years, we've had friendly, helpful service. Staff seem to really care about our dogs - we used their boarding and doggie day care for our older dog who couldn't travel with us, and she was happy as a clam. It was also nice to be able to see her on the cameras from Florida!
Over the years, all three of our dogs have visited for the non-anesthetic teeth cleaning, and the care and quality of the cleanings has been awesome. We absolutely love that K9 provides this service and that they have been successful in working with our pups' challenging temperaments. Sparkly teeth all around!

So angry with what happend to Milo, When i dropped Milo in K9-LOFT for grooming at 12:30 pm, they told me it will take about 3 hours, but i didn't get any call until 5 pm, so i called them and they told me he will be ready in 10 minutes, After picking him up, when we arrive home, i just realized he doesn't put his hand on the ground and keeps it up, he seems to be in pain now, I'm not sure, but i think they did somting wrong with him and thats why they kept him for so longer than what they told me, They have reasonable price and friendly staff Milo is clean and he smells good after grooming, But, I will never take my baby back there.

I'm dog sitting for a good friend and though I'd treat her pup to a grooming day for a bath and brush. With the $38 service came bath, brush, nail clipping, anal expungements, and I added a $6tooth brushing as well. Manny was the groomer who took care of my sweet boy and when I got him back he looked so good and smelled lovely. Everyone I interacted with was lovely and friendly and I wasn't nervous at all about leaving him here.
