I can't even begin to express how much I love these people. I have a very shy rescue dog who gets stressed out very easily. For some reason he gets exited to go to the groomer lol. The people there take great care of him and do an outstanding job at grooming him. Would 100% recommend for someone looking for a safe and reliable groomer.

Morris Animal Inn gets top recommendations from me. My big and anxious dog loves it there. Since she is so easily upset, I had avoided having her groomed there, even though she desperately needed it. the staff took on the challenge, making her feel safe, doing only what she could tolerate each day, making her love them. It was a miracle of training and kindness. Thanks so much.

We bring our dog here every time we leave town. She is always well cared for and is happy when we pick her up. Staff is extremely professional and you can tell they live animals. Highly recommend them.

I love bringing my pups here for training and daycare! Both of mine attended the puppy enrichment and it was a great experience for us all. Staff is caring and knowledgeable, and you can have confidence your pet will be safe and loved here!

I moved back to Morristown and decided to go back to this place I took my dogs when they were much younger. Morris Animal Inn is as nice as ever facility-wise but the service and communication has really gone down and is IMO not up to the quality that the prices demand. It is virtually impossible to get a grooming appointment sooner than a month out and I have had issues with both the end result of the appointment and the level of communication beforehand.

I do not know if it is a staffing issue as many other businesses are dealing with but it is a bit tough to swallow, both worse and more inconsistent service and higher prices.

Our dog, Molly, has been coming to Morris Animal Inn since she was a tiny puppy for daycare, lodging, and grooming. I cannot say enough good things about the MAI staff-their Expertise and their love for animals. Molly is so well cared for, and has so much fun every time she is there. We have 100% peace of mind with MAI and feel very lucky to have found such a loving place.

My dog went through their puppy school and graduated into their normal doggy daycare and they worked wonders with him. The training they did with him was very effective and 100% worth it. He's good on the leash, knows the basic commands, and is extremely friendly with other dogs and people. I would highly recommend them for their puppy school, daycare, lodging, and grooming services!

Frustrating! Consultant was very kind and nice; however, it seems more like a warehousing of dogs than a place that you can have your pet happy. Regular dog boarding does not offer group sessions and everything they can do is based on additional services and prices. My experience in my home country was completely different and the pets have a pure day of interaction, going back to the suites at the end of the day for a sleeping night. Finally, a front room member requested me to keep my dog more close to me on the leash to avoid the interaction.

I can understand the afraid of one dog bites another; however, is this a place for dog interaction? Far away from my expectation and I cannot recommend. If someone has another place to reference to me I would be so happy!

Morris Animal Inn is a fantastic facility. It was such a relief to know that my dog was getting the best care possible when he needed to be boarded. However, it has been impossible to get a boarding reservation here over the past year. Every time I call, no matter how far in advance, there is a waiting list. I recently tried to make a boarding reservation 5 months a head of time and they were already booked. It used to be a reliable spot that I would recommend to anyone who asked but now unfortunately isn't a service I can rely on.

First time boarding my cat here. It's quite difficult to find a place that cares for cats well and Morris Animal Inn fits the bill. From the moment I called to book her stay here, I felt that she would be cared for and I would receive updates about her stay. When I dropped her off, we were greeted with smiles and Marcie was showered with attention.

The staff is also familiar with cats and some are cat owners themselves. I received an update about her stay and her eating habits while she was there, which was very appreciated. I highly recommend Morris Animal Inn and I'm happy to board with them when I leave town again. Thank you for amazing service and a lovely staff!

Our 2 year old dog loves it here. She goes for daycare once per week and has lodged here 3 different times. She get's so excited when we are close and walks in right away, always wagging her tail. I just had to get used to her not missing me or ever looking back as she walks in. I know it's a really good thing. She arrives and they know her name. I have no doubt that she is in amazing hands and would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

Our 4 year old dog is my shadow. She has stayed at the Inn several times. They have always called if there were any concerns or very receptive to our calls and getting the person closing monitoring our dog to talk to. Hard for our dog to be away. This time we picked her up and she has been home for a week and seems very relaxed and content. They do go out of their way to know your dogs.

Oh wow! Immediately driving up I was amazed. What a wonderful complex. We had a short stay but they did great for their 1st ever time boarding. They are 9. Our son lives close by so this will definitely be our go to place for the dogs. Everyone is very efficient, professional and friendly. The place Inside and out is immaculate. Be sure to look up in the lobby at the overlooking kitty condos. So neat! Thank you so much. See you in July!

Really a lovely place to have watch your cat while you're gone. They are extremely attentive and nice. The whole process was stress-free and they were nice enough to send an update when requested as to how my cat was doing. This update was extremely detailed, and answered things that I would not have even thought to have asked. It was a real relief and made the whole process way easier.

We were so happy with the love and care our cats received! I was sent regular, detailed updates so I had total peace of mind during their stay. We will absolutely be bringing our cats back here in the future! Especially for the playtime variety, our oldest made some lovely artwork that I'll be proudly hanging up by my desk lol. Our dog is always treated so well at the inn - we even take him for baths because he is most comfortable there. Thank you for all you do!

I agree with the review on price transparency. While I loved how my dog looked after being groomed, each time I took him (every other month) for the past 6 months, the prices were different and I received the same services. Within 6 months, there was a $40 difference from my first visit to my last. I had the receptionist review my past bills and was told there have been price increases because of the high demand in services. It didn't make sense to me but will have to find somewhere else to go. I would like to know what I will pay prior to the service completed.

We just started taking our pup to Morris Animal Inn, but way back in the 80s my parents brought their pup here when they first moved to Morristown! Consistently good service over the decades. Our puppy loves going to MAI.

Well. we have been going to Morris Animal Inn for years.but sadly we are going to have to find a new place. Each time we call now, no one answers the phone, and it takes over a day for anyone to get back to us. And when they do they are always booked now. I dont understand. Even for grooming they are always booked. Are they short staffed suddenly?

Well we are going to board elsewhere, and we always boarded for weeks over the summer, and other times. But no more. We will find local groomers too. its too bad. our dogs really liked there.

I have been a long-time client of Morris Animal Inn, spanning multiple pets, and I have consistently had a very good experience every time. I can leave my pets with MAI feeling comfortable that they will have a good time and be well cared for! Thank you, MAI!

I have been using the day care services Morris Animal Inn provides for several years now, albeit interrupted by the pandemic. I have routinely found them to be absolutely caring, professional and responsive. My now 6 year old Maltese poodle rescue has developed far more skill in being with other dogs and love his time there.

This place is very good at cutting dog hair. We've gone several times and our dog only had a bad hair cut once. However, they have serious issues with price transparency. Every time we go, there is a new price for my dog's haircut and we only find out what the new price is after the haircut is done. This seems like an unfair business practice and they should be more transparent about what they are charging and if there are price increases PRIOR to appointments. Buyer beware.

We had our little prince Mars there for 8 nights and they always called us back to give us a report. The staff was very friendly and when we picked him up he was like if nothing happened. I would definitely recommend Morris Animal inn for all your cats needs.

The staff are wonderful! They took great care if our black lab, Blue. The facility is clean and well tended too. We received daily reports along with pictures. He was bathed and groomed when we picked him up. We loved thus place so much we've already reserved for next year!

We love Morris Animal Inn! Have been boarding our cat there for years. The staff is top notch, professional, and caring and everyone there genuinely loves animals. They care for our furry family member as if he was their own. Definitely not your typical animal boarding facility. Truly a luxury pet hotel A+++

We took our puppy her for daycare to socialize and it was OK. Just OK. Beware of boarding your dogs here - for the regular nightly charge the dogs just get a few brief walks but other than that are confined to their "private suite (aka caged area)" for the rest of the day. This place charges you extra for any sort of 1:1 or group play, exercise, or socialization.

Highly recommend looking other places with more inclusive pricing that focus on your dog having a good time and getting proper exercise, and not just making money for each additional second they spend thinking of your dog. Disappointing that there is little focus on the animals well being and having fun during their stay, more about charging you for add ons.

We have been using Morris animal Inn for a couple of years now for our German Shepherd. We recently left Sammy there for a little over a week while we took a trip. The communication and care that the staff provided is why we only use this place for all our boarding needs. Our dog is a working line GSD who doesn't care too much about playing with other dogs.

He cares about being with humans and Morris Animal Inn has some of the nicest, friendliest, and caring humans that dogs can ask for! A big Thank You to the staff (they know why).

I am so grateful I live close enough to send my fur baby here. Our pup, Sage, has been coming here for 6 months and I have NO complaints. They take every single precaution as far as up to date shots, the communication is stellar, and I never worry when Sage is here. He literally knows when we are close and starts going bananas with excitement when we pull into the parking lot.

I am confident he loves coming here and looks forward to his weekly visit. I've seen videos and pics of him and the other dogs during their special events. Halloween party (which was a sleepover), fall party, valentines party, and st pattys day. You can easily tell he has so much fun. And boy, does he come home pooped. And most importantly, he's always safe. They've also helped with training and agility as well. Sage will be coming forever!

My senior dog comes home chipper and with a happy gait. At other places she has boarded I have had to use a sling to help her walk after. Clearly they do a great job with her senior hips.

My Tucker loves Morris Animal Inn (MAI)! It's the only place I can take him where he literally RUNS from me without looking back. A neighbor recommended MAI, and since attending, Tucker's confidence, social, and training skills have grown and grown. First, he attended MAI's Puppy Academy Program, where puppies only play with puppies to gain social and training skills.

Then at 5-months of age, he graduated to a group of dogs matching his size and playstyle. Initially, I used MAI for Puppy Academy for socialization and puppy manners training. But due to his positive response, I have expanded the use of all their services; including, Boarding, Training, Bathing & Grooming-in an environment where he is happy and trusting. Tucker even knows 'MAI' by name; therefore, when it's a Daycare Day, I just tell him he is going for a ride to "Visit MAI and puppies, " and I have his complete attention-not to mention the attention of his happy, wagging tail.

In the mornings, we are on our way to MAI, and when we turn into the MAI driveway, Tucker pops-up and begins to bark and cry with excitement-until he is scooped up and on his way inside with one of their caregivers. MAI is quite simply my peace-of-mind and his favorite place. MAI has become such a valuable part of Tucker's life-and my support system for his care-I literally could not take him anywhere else.

Morris Animal Inn is the only place in our area that we would even dream of leaving our dog. We trust the staff and the environment and can rest easy when our dog is there. I took off one star only because it is quite pricey per day and each add-on is also pricey. So be aware, this is a fabulous place, but must fit into your budget.

I don't speak dog, so I can't fully express how much my pup loves Morris Animal Inn. As soon as I pull into the driveway to drop him off, he starts barking like crazy to greet his friends. One early morning, I was zoning out and missed the turn. He cried for the entire extra five minutes while I was rerouting. The staff is absolutely incredible.

They put a lot of thought into each dog's personality to give them the best care possible. The entire place gives off the best vibes, and it makes me so happy that my dog has such a safe and fun place to be while I'm working. I have been thrilled with everything my dog has done here: daycare, special events, overnight boarding, and grooming.

When I pick him up, my dog smiles and pants the whole way home before eating dinner and falling into a deep sleep. It is well worth the money if you're looking for ways to help get your dog's energy out or to give them a safe space for socializing with other dogs (or just people!) If you're interested in spoiling your dog, I highly recommend the birthday party package.

My dog got to be the center of attention all day long (his favorite) with all of his friends- and he got a birthday cake! Best of all, they shared an entire album of pictures of his party!

I can't say enough amazing things about Morris Animal Inn. The staff is genuinely engaged, patient and kind. To get a text from them during our Akita's stay sharing how she's doing and that she's eating and playing puts our hearts at ease. Listen, it is a little expensive yes. But so is day care for a child and our dog is our child.

That expense pays for peace of mind knowing that our precious loved one isn't just fed, watered and exercised.but also loved. We've used the big box pet store pet hotels and our dog was hurt not once, but twice. I will never take my dog anywhere else and would drive an hour to put her in Morris Inn. Our two dogs are precious family members and, although we prefer to have them with us, circumstances sometimes require us to find safe, friendly, and high quality care for them. Morris Animal Inn has become that New Jersey safe haven for us. Our fur babies have spent time at Morris Animal Inn for both doggie daycare and boarding, and we are very pleased with the care they receive and they customer service we receive. This is the cleanest pet care center around. The staff is always courteous and readily available. I would highly recommend.

I wish we could take our dog Max here everyday. Morris Animal Inn is the Four Seasons of all dog boarding facilities. They are super friendly here and take amazing care of our fur son. He is so excited whenever we pull into the driveway and never looks back. The workers here take great care of him and he is always so tired whenever we take him back home. I cannot imagine bringing him anywhere else.

Great staff, very attentive and super friendly. Always accommodating. We used Morris Annimal Inn for day care, logging and grooming. Can't say enough of high praises for all their services. We would be lost without them as we both work crazy hours. Would recommend it to anyone. We know our pup is in great hands and has tons of playtime with his furry friends when we are not around. Such a piece of mind.

This place is immaculately clean and the workers genuinely like and care for my dog. It is expensive and yes everything is a la carte, but they take care of my dog according to my instructions (or at least as far as I can tell). While my dog doesn't like to leave me at all, she doesn't seem to mind it here so much. My dog is a little anxious, and we've tried group play but she just doesn't like it.

Each time, we've tried, they tell me she just sits on the side, which I believe. So we do Adventure Day Care where she gets one-on-one care, tummy rubs, tug of war and gets fed and walked on her schedule (I provide my own, pre-measured food, which she always eats). I have never boarded overnight, because I usually have someone dogsit at my house, but I am working up to getting her used to the place so that I can leave her overnight if I need to. FYI, one of my dogsitters used to work there and she swears they do everything they say they will do.

We moved to NJ and I was so happy when I found this place. It is always clean, plenty of staff, dogs are well cared for and the staff will always answer questions and inform you about you pet. My dog has boarded here twice now and comes home clean, happy and healthy.

Wonderful facility, great care, but very expensive. Everything is extra - playtime, walks, treats, and beware of the $60 "bath!"

Morris Animal Inn is the best! We live in Atlanta but got married in NJ. We wanted our pup Winter to be our flower girl. We found Morris Animal Inn and decided she'd stay there. We also took advantage of their wedding concierge service -- which was THE BEST. First they're super professional, showed up on time, in a nice safe animal transport vehicle.

The 2 staff members even showed up in tuxedos! When it was time for photos they had squeaky toys at the ready to get her attention while our photographer snapped away. Winter is a pretty shy dog, but she seemed like she had a great time. And their facility is amazing. I almost wish we got married there. Can't say enough how much I enjoyed working with the staff at Morris Animal Inn and how happy I am that they were there and offered this service so Winter could be part of our big day.
