It's A Dog's World

I just started taking my sweet girl here and I absolutely love their service. Everyone working here is so nice and they treat my Bella like their own. I'm so happy I found them and if your looking for a dog groomer, this is the place to go as they are FANTASTIC!

I just took my dog here and got her nails trimmed. I was in and out less then 5 minutes. They did a perfect job. The Staff was nice and I will be coming here for now on. Thank you guys.

We have been using it's a dog's World for well at least 10 years, we now have a 16-year-old Shih Tzu that require special handling and they give it to her every time, the best groomers we've ever dealt with and we have four dogs that need to be groomed regularly, reasonable prices and great work can't go wrong

These guys are absolutely the best I take my two puppies there every other month to get the little falls Little nails trimmed and these guys always read my puppies is if they were theirs they're so friendly and just very considerate my little guy he's just now getting used to having his nose for him so they take their time with him and they talk to him like a little baby and he just eats it up even if he does have to worry but I do know that he grows with them and they grow with them soon he won't have to do that anymore like the bigger puppy but these guys are awesome if you need your puppies nails trimmed this is the place to go they don't even charge they say if you want to leave a tip which I do every time you can but it isn't necessary I give these guys the world of credit awesome people

They were wonderful with my husky. Had him at several different places and they are the best. He will be going back there. Very nice people and very reasonable prices. Thank you it's a dog's world for doing such a wonderful job on my fur baby

I drove from S. Phoenix for nail trimming and to sched. his grooming appt. Employees were super nice! Nail trimming was fast and pain free. Can't wait for his grooming appointment! Totally worth the drive.

I can't give this location enough stars! I have 3 dogs. Gus, Rusty and Penny. I bring all 3 of them here for nail trims on Saturdays and they are so quick and gentle with all 3 of them. Rusty also goes to this location for his grooming. He's such a nervous boy but they love him anyways and I can't thank them enough for that! The customer service here is fantastic and every employee that I've spoken with is so nice! If you're looking for an awesome place with super friendly people and great prices, this is it! These folks truly do love dog's! They are super friendly, efficient and manage their time superbly, that is without exception to the marvelous treatment that our dogs get. Even the sweet Sydney at the front desk is a darling. This is a dog's world inside!to be sure. Everything being catered to our 3, four legged furbabies! Thanks y'all!

Everyone was so nice and inviting. The lovely ladies were considerate of my large rescue lab's anxieties, and kindly accommodated him in the loby. They trimmed his nails SO FAST and he didn't flinch, which gives me confident in her skills. Best of all they did it 100%FREE! I will be back again soon and this time with cash so I can tip them!

We've been bringing our dogs to It's a Dog's World for years and I highly recommend! The staff is always friendly and professional, they're family-owned, and the best part- they truly love dogs! I know when I drop my pups off to get groomed they will be well taken care of and given lots of love. This is a hot spot, so try to schedule your appointments a week or so ahead of time.

Best place to get your doggy groomed! This may be a school for grooming but they are more caring and consistent with our dogs than any groomer we have used in twenty years!

They did a great job and the staff members were so lovable and friendly. It was my first time taking Sabrina to this location and they did not disappoint Great job! The price is amazing!

The dogs love this place and so do I. I have a German Shepard her coat always looks amazing and my little Yorkshire terrier loves his grooming day and comes home with a new spunk thinking he is the cutest man on the block.

I love this place, they always do a great job! I've taken my dog to many places in the past and they never seem to care much but every time I take him here they always are friendly and love on him, they listen to how I ask him to be cut and that's awesome, you can tell they actually care.

I take my pups to get groomed here and love the prices and am happy with the work. You have to be mindful this is a grooming school. Sometimes there are small issues but for the price I can't beat it and my dog loves going there. They always listen and try to do their best to your specifications. It's affordable, staff is nice, and my dog enjoys her getaway there.

I've been getting my dog's nails trimmed here monthly for a couple years. My dog is small and short-haired, so I bathe her myself at home. She is an older dog who hates having her paws touched, but they are always so gentle and patient with her. This is the only place I will take my dog to get nails trimmed!

Love this place! My Shih Tzu is not always cooperative or happy about getting groomed. They've learned how to work with her to the point where she seems happy to go now. It is a school so sometimes they take a little longer than other places might, and the hair cuts may be kinda wonky sometimes- but the price is lower than normal groomers and the ladies who work there (sometimes men too) are always sweet to me.

They book out far in advance but it's worth it. The receptionist is one of my favorite people that I don't really know- I always enjoy chatting with her when I take Oreo to them.

I heard about this grooming school from a woman that couldn't stop singing their praises. When I called I was told I could bring my dog in at anytime without an appointment for her nails to be trimmed. It was a great experience so I brought her back for a grooming session. They asked just the right questions to find out exactly what I wanted done.

A few hours later I picked up my beautiful furgirl and her cut was exactly how I wanted it. Every person I interacted with was very friendly and you could tell that they love what they do. Plus is was very affordable!

I've been bringing my cat here to get his nails trimmed for at least three years. They always make time for us right away and the staff is very friendly! Very thankful I discovered this place!

I took my Shiba Inu in for a grooming. I explained when I made the appointment that she needed her undercoat brushed out, and nails clipped. I came in, and they hardly took any of my information or asked me any questions about my dogs breed. They just took her back, she was scared and I let them know that. That should have been my indicator to just take her and leave.

I come back after the amount of time they told me it would take. To only hear my dog bit a girl who was trying to dry her. My dog is 9 and is very gentle unless she feels very threatened. My eyes got huge because I never asked them to bathe my Shiba. Their breed does not need bathed hardly ever! I would have assumed the educators would have known about her breed.

Stupid of me to assume. They tell me it'll be 2 more hours cause shes sitting under a fan drying. I asked why they bathed my self cleaning dog in the first place, and got no answers. I paid before my dog came out or I wouldn't have at all after I saw her. After them telling me it would be 2 more hours to dry her, I asked if all that needed done to my dog was just to dry her.

They said yes, so I just asked them to bring her out wet. I had to go. I rushed out of there but when I got in my car I got a good look at my dog, and she was a mess! They didn't even brush her! She smells from washing her waterproof coat, and it looks like they just gave up on her nails. I will spend hours brushing all this out of my dog now. So, thanks. Know your breeds please.

Took my dog Fiona for the 1st time and did a fabulous job. I'll definitely take her there again. Very helpful and sweet.

Never coming here again. Totally unprofessional environment. The ladies that work the front have absolutely no customer service skills. There was 5 just sitting around eating at the front desk while trying to check the dogs in and out. When I first came in there was an upset woman because she was told a different price for her dog on the phone and was being charged more once she was there.

I paid $60 for a chihuahua and a yorky, but when I came to pick them both up one of the women said how she "didn't get to finish Hazard (the chihuahua) because he was freaking out during his cut". However, I was not offered any of my money back and when I got home and got a closer look my chihuahua was cut in several places (I'll upload photos) and none of them said anything to me about it. I don't recommend taking your pets here for any type of service. There are way better places with better prices that have even better service than this place.

I have used the services of It's A Dog's World School of Grooming for our four dogs since 2004. We had our rescue dog Kai groomed there a year ago. One day we brought her home and noticed her paw was cut. The paw continued to bleed and we finally stopped the bleeding by putting pressure on her paw. We were never notified by the grooming facility but called and spoke with Manager Dawn Pennington. Dawn acted surprised of the injury.

I asked that the next time one of my dog's is injured that I be notified immediately. On December 10th, my mini schnauzer Katie was groomed. At he time Katie was 13 years old. After picking her up from grooming, I noticed she had a puncture wound next to corner of her eye. I rinsed her eye and didn't notice any changes until a few weeks later when her eye glazed over white with an opaque film over her eye.

We had a separate dog groomed on 12/13 and I let him he owner's daughter know that Katie's eye had been injured. I also called and left a voicemail on 12/23 after the vet appointment with no returned call. I spoke to Manager Dawn Pennington on 1/3 after leaving several messages. Dawn denied the injury and said to submit vet bills. She said she would file a claim with her insurance but I never heard back from an insurance adjuster, after serving a legal letter and writing reviews on Facebook, i received a call from the adjuster, we will need to have my dog's eye removed.

I took her to the vet on 12/23 and the vet prescribed antibiotics and eye drops for almost two months. We continue to see the vet but its looking more and more like eye removal is imminent. I write this review because I don't want anyone else to have this experience. Mistakes can and do happen. However, the owner should be immediately notified and the school should offer to resolve the situation and not try to deny it ever happened.

Took Tito for the first time. They did a great job! Only paid $30 and he came back all clean wasn't licking his paw like crazy because they cut his nails too short. Highly recommend this place!

I have taken my Maltese/ terrier mixed dog here twice, and plan on going again. The cut isn't always perfect (since it's a school) but she always looks cute when she's done. They are friendly and it's a good price. The first time you go make sure they explain the schedule to you, they didn't tell me the first time I went and I was so confused.

I will never take my dog anywhere else. The staff was super helpful and sweet. And my dog looks awesome. I got exactly what I asked for and Cato wasn't freaked out like he usually is after a grooming. If you're on the fence about this place, I assure you that the grass is greener when you're in a Dog's World.
