Excellent grooming experience for my 8 mo old long hair Exotic kitten! Shaved his belly/underarm areas to remove some mats he wouldn't let me brush out, and removed a huge amount of undercoat on the rest of him. Trimmed his nails short. No sedation necessary as they gave him breaks in between grooming sessions. He came out super soft and sweet smelling and pretty relaxed. Educated me as to their techniques.

No bath required either. I've been able to keep it up. I live far away but I will make the drive whenever he needs an extra thorough grooming/shaving in the future! Took Reggie back in this week for his summer groom with cool belly shave. He sure approves!

Sierra at the front desk was so nice & sweet. They board cats when you go out of town too. The vet was amazing. Someone dumped or left their pregnant young cat & we started to feed her. Took her here to have her checked out to make sure it was okay to bring her around our other inside cats. Everyone was very good with her & reasonable prices as well.

She is now inside & will be having her kittens in 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. We had her checked for fleas, ear mites, feline aids, & leukemia. Negative on everything. Thanks a bunch Larkspur for seeing Love

Dr. Smith is kind and thorough, he understands cats (even VERY cranky, senior ones like mine) and has a gentle demeanor with them. I appreciate Dr. Smith and his staff for taking care of my old girl and helping us get her health back on track. He was able to identify her issues and explained treatments options to me in a way that was easy to understand. The Larkspur Cat Clinic staff are also very kind and helpful! It is worth the 1 hour drive for me to ensure the best care for my senior kitty.

First time here. Very pleased. Dr Smith had a great touch with my cat, good thing because his two brothers need to go in next! He took his time talking to me about general cat health, and of course my boy, specifically.

Definitely a great vet who you can tell that cares about your cat. He also stays in the room to take the time to really explain information to you in a way that is easy to understand. I have boarded my cat here as well and it was a successful experience. My only complaint is their hours of operation. You really have to take time off to be able to catch their open hours.

I appreciate Larkspur Cat Clinic for several reasons. First of all, I am a big believer in veterinary practices that specialize in cats specifically - because cats have needs that are so very different than the needs of other species. Stress and emotional health is tied so tightly to and affects their physical health perhaps more so than for any other creature on earth. Feline-only practices recognize this reality and work hard to address this special need. Larkspur Cat Clinic is no exception.

They did a great job of putting my cat (and me!) at ease through the whole process. Another reason I was impressed with Larkspur Cat Clinic is because my cat did not have to ride out a painful condition waiting a long time to be seen. Since the beginning of the COVID pandemic, getting same-day veterinary appointments has proven next to impossible, and animals with urgent needs have suffered as a result, having to wait several days or even weeks for relief from their medical conditions.

I discovered my cat's problem at 5:00 am, called Larkspur shortly after they opened at 7:00 am and she was able to get an appointment for 10:30 am on the same morning. What a relief for me that my feline baby didn't have to suffer any longer than necessary! All the members of the staff were friendly, cheerful, and knowledgeable and took the time with me to assess my cat's needs and condition. Dr. Smith took the time with me to address all my concerns and to explain everything to me thoroughly.

I felt seen, heard and understood and there was never any indication that anyone was trying to rush the appointment - even though they would be closing shortly and still had other patients to see. I'm glad I called Larkspur Cat Clinic and plan to bring my girl back for her future veterinary needs - even though it's a bit of a distance for me from my home in Avondale.

I didn't take my cat here, but accidentally came in. They were kind and helped me find where I need to go though. The place right across the street. So thank you.

I have a baby Savannah Cat and searched around for a few days to find Larkspur Cat Clinic. Living in Mesa, there's not a lot of options for Savannah kitten care. Justin has been absolutely amazing by taking the time to explain not only what the issues are with with our baby kitty but why they might be happening. I will recommend anyone with a kitten or cat in the greater Phoenix area to take her to Larkspur because it's worth the drive regardless of where you live.

Dr. Smith is great! He's nice and gentle to kitties. He explains everything to me and provides the best & reasonable solutions to kitties!

Have had numerous cats through the years and can I say, Larkspur has at one time or another helped them all. I have been going also to Larkspur over 15-20 yrs and let me say, This is a RARE GEM you can't find anywhere else. The Dr. is so Knowledgeable and kind and the staff is exceptional. If you want honest, kind, caring people then go to Larkspur as you won't be disappointed. They are THE BEST OF THE BEST!

Brought my cat to get groomed. Love the fact I can drop off before work. It's so hard finding a place that is open before 8. The office is very clean and well maintained. Front desk was also very pleasant and professional. I will definitely be bringing more of my pets here. Very happy with the service.

If you want to find a vet that will take excellent care of your kitties you need look no further than Larkspur. Since that is all they do you need not worry about subjecting your kitty to the stress of dogs or other animals.

We brought a very sick cat in. The doctor had no idea what was the probem with our cat though he could read pretty well his blood test that we brought with us. We were told we needed x-ray and ultrasounds that this pllace does not provide, but were ot offered a valley fiver test. Our cat had yellow skin and all the simptoms of valley fiver that is common in our state.

Any trained veterinarian should be able to recognize it or at least to suspect it right away and to put him on Fluconazole right away. Instead we had to pay over $300 for this visit and unnesessary shots and two days later had to take our cat to the emergency veterinarian.

Very highly recommend. I've had two cats that have received end of life care. They are truly caring and compassionate. If you're looking for a vet that will really take excellent care of your kitty, this is the place to go.
