Blue Ribbon Dog Kennels is a professional dog boarding and grooming facility owned and operated by Amy Paschka and Sons since 1985. We are just 25 minutes south of Minneapolis and St. Paul in Burnsville, Minnesota. We are situated on 6.8 acres of beautiful rolling woodland. Amy (our owner) is a professional dog groomer with over 30 years experience. We are also an accredited and proud member of the Better Business Bureau. We welcome all visitors to our kennels to stop, take a look and ask us questions.

We have Mason Kennels, each Kennel has a 4 ft. Stainless Steel Panel on each side for privacy and sanitation. They also have a Channel sealed to the floor under each panel to prevent urine or anything else from entering the next dog's run. The Kennel Building uses Radiant Heat, is Air Conditioned with a clean air exchange system and is on a 24 hour smoke alarm system monitored by Trans-Alarm.
Blue Ribbon Kennels has been our dogs' home-away-from-home for eight years now. The temperature controlled facility is exceptionally clean and the staff is friendly and dependable. Scott & Amy, the owners, treat our dogs like their own. What more could we ask for? Our dogs never complain about a stay at the "puppy motel, " Blue Ribbon Kennel.

They took great care of our 2 huskies. When we picked them up it was obvious they had a great time because they didn't want to leave. The pricing is fair and they have a huge fenced in piece of land for the dogs to play and explore. The staff was super friendly and informative. The play times/walks did the trick on our high energy dogs because they slept for a good 14 hours when we got home. We're looking forward to using them much more in the future and would recommend Blue Ribbon Kennels to any dog owners.

THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They are just the most super friendly, treat your fur baby like their own. My Charlie absolutely loves the care he gets there. An incredible staff that is family owned and live on the property and build amazing rapport with your dog. Won't board my dog anywhere else now.

We have been bringing our dogs here for almost 5 years and they really seem to really enjoy their time based on how excited they are when we arrive. The staff is always very caring towards the dogs and does a great job even when we have extra requests like medications etc. The kennels are clean and well kept and the staff is very open about having owners go up to the kennel if no one is in the office. That transparency gives me peace of mind.

Our Lucy (9 month old Wheaten Terrier) loves coming to BRK. It is convenient, close to home, they will follow your diet instructions, walk them and give them play time. Staff is friendly and all of them love dogs. This is a great place for your dog. Don't pay more for other places that are cardboard kennels and hire kids who have no idea on how to play with a dog. Go with Blue Ribbon and you and your dog will be happy!

Staff is always very friendly and its obvious they love dogs. I think its cool that they will let you walk up to the kennels to drop them off or pick them up. Nice to see where your pup spends its time away. As someone who is VERY protective of my dog, I feel 100% comfortable leaving her with Blue Ribbon. They do a great job!

I have been using BRK for the past 13 years as the need arises, for my dog, Daisy. The staff has been consistently friendly and very attentive to Daisy's needs. Especially as she has aged and has special diet requirements. Although I do hate to leave Daisy behind, I do have peace of mind that she is in good hands.

We have been taking our dog Dakota to BRK for several years now. They have always given him a great home away from home and cared for him just like we would. We have also used their bath/nail trim service while he is there and have been very happy with the results. The way we know best that BRK is a good place is that he is always very excited and happy to go there. AS we turn down their driveway he can hardly contain himself and once checked in goes off very willingly with the person on duty. Great place - highly recommended!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. While Blue Ribbon offers some great "extras" (like grooming, walks, one-on-one play time, and even TV time.) they fail at one basic function of a kennel service: FEEDING your dog! I left my dog in their care over a long weekend, and provided them individual baggies of food. I was even asked if my dog needed to be fed twice a day. I responded yes, he did. When I came to pick my dog up, he had some baggies of food left over - meaning he didn't get fed at some point. Perfect.
