At The Crate Escape in Wallingford, CT, we make sure your furry family member enjoys plenty of exercise, fresh air, and socialization throughout the day at our doggie daycare. And because we're devoted to all things doggie, we also offer overnight dog boarding, dog grooming, and a self-serve dog wash. The Crate Escape is on my list of the best things that have ever happened to me. My very loved, very energetic boy, Maxwell, started there for doggie daycare as soon as he was old enough to be properly vaccinated.

Does your dog have beastly manners? At The Crate Escape, our dog training classes will teach you and your dog the obedience basics and help your dog unleash his inner Very Good Boy (or Girl). Our dog training group classes are a great way to build a firm foundation for your dog as he works toward becoming an AKC Canine Good Citizen.
Do your dog's manners need some work? Our fun and effective group dog training classes can improve your dog's behavior and teach him the skills he needs to know. In the Beginner class, you and your dog will learn a variety of behaviors that will lay the foundation for a great relationship between you two.

My sitter backed out last minute on my 4 month old pup. I was a mess, trying to figure out how to take my highschool kids to college visits and ensure the pup was safe and cared for in our absence. I was beyond grateful to Chris and her staff for making it a painless process and taking her last minute on April break! She was super excited to see us and clearly had much needed play time!

We already knew how amazing the experience was from our other lab Maddie going. Our new lab Maya went to Crate Escape for the first time today and she was in the best hands possible! We look forward to many more visits, her learning and great times : The staff loves what they are doing and they treated Maya like she was their own. She loved it!

Our puppy spent the day today at The Crate Escape for doggie daycare. The staff is so kind. They integrated our pup with a few dogs at a time instead of putting her with all the dogs at once which was great! The staff has excellent communication and is very pleasant. We look forward to having our pup stay with The Crate Escape again!

Emma LOVES the Crate Escape and so do I. She goes 3 days a week and gets super excited on daycare days. The staff is so friendly and positive. They clearly care about Emma, and she loves them too. And what could be better than playing with her fur buddies all day? It's the best, most safe way for her to get the interaction stimulation she needs. I don't know what I'd do without Crate Escape!

My husky has been going to crate escape since she was like 6 months old and she is now over a year old. This was the best decision to help her keep moving and let out that husky energy. They are so good with her and she has never come out upset once! I do not have any intentions of going elsewhere for daycare/boarding or training. All has been the best experience a 1st time dog mom could want.

When we ask my 3 year old dog, Stix, if he "wants to go see his friends" his tail wags super fast, he jumps with excitement and he cannot get into the car fast enough. When we get there he leads the way and knows right where to go. For me, this says it all! We started bringing him as a puppy, once a week, and have continued as much as we can through the pandemic even though we work from home now.
The staff is amazing, knows him by name, and he is well taken care of. I do not worry at all when he is there - they are great! The value for us is the socialization, energy he gets to burn, and fun he has. We also utilized at home training and training at the facility. We learned so much and our dog enjoyed himself too. They have holiday themed events we can choose to participate in such as bringing and exchanging doggy Valentines and holiday photos. I can't give The Crate Escape enough stars! Highly recommend!

Have been going to The Crate Escape for years. Love everything about the experience. Chris and her team are amazing with both, owners and their pups. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for the best place to board their pups. We're grateful knowing our pup can roam free and play most of the day and isn't stuck in a run.
