Dr. Jones is amazing! My puppy has always done well seeing Dr. Jones! Of course she was spayed and now doesnt associate the place with happy thoughts! Dr. Jones was awesome with the visit after being spayed. She could tell my puppy was not thrilled to be there, she was very patient with me and her. She always does what is best for my puppy! Once you find someone great you stick with them! Dr. Jones will always be my go to!

I used to like this place but things have changed. They will give you a price and then, when you come in to get your pet the price is substantially higher. It's not unrealistic to have a 50% in crease in your bill from when you speak to them till when you pick your pet up. They used to care about your pets but it seems they only care about your money.

My fiance and I adopted Bella recently and she had already been a patient here so we continued with them and I'm so glad we did! Our poor little old lady had to have her remaining teeth pulled and Dr. Banks and the entire staff were so kind and patient with us as first time dog parents. They took such great care of our little peanut and have been following up to check on her I could not be happier with the care they have given Bella and us!

Extremely rude staff! Waited on hold for about 10 minutes. I had a basic question asking if they could shave cats back area as she keeps getting urine all over her fur. She replied rudely saying there not a grooming salon, which I obviously know. But wanted to take her to an actual vet clinic as I wouldn't trust a groomer to do the job.

If you would've asked me a year or two ago, I would've given them 5 stars in a heartbeat. This place has gone so far down hill so fast. In my opinion, they could care less about the animals and only care about how much they can fish out of your pocketbook. The new receptionists are poorly trained and their communication is mediocre at best. We recently brought our puppy in to get spayed, dropped her off, and they proceeded to call us AFTER we left to tell us it would be 450 bucks.
We took our other puppy in a year ago and it was less than half of this price. A nail trim used to be 12 bucks and is now 30, please explain that one to me. We have 3 dogs and give this place hundreds (thousands this year) annually, never again, we will be going elsewhere. Another case of a company screwing a loyal customer over and not caring at all.

I am so incredibly thrilled with our experience at Fort Street Vet. I truly felt like Dr. Tordrup took care of my dog as if he were her pet. She is patient, kind, inquisitive and extremely knowledgeable. She offered cost effective options and solutions for issues that my previous vet didn't ever mention. The entire staff is friendly, kind to my dog, and communicates effectively. I am so thankful to have found such a great place to care for my sweet pup.

After feeling rather "meh" about the vet we used with our previous dog, we decided to make a change after getting a new family dog. This office is convenient, local and had solid reviews. I find the prices to be more reasonable than some of our other experiences around town as well. The staff has always been very friendly, eager to answer your questions and excited to see you and your furry friend.
The lobby/waiting area is a bit small, so if you have an excited or potentially aggressive dog, you definitely need to be on alert for other pets coming and going. I also prefer that vets break down vaccinations into what is required in the state and/or for boarding (rabies, Bordetella, etc.) and then what they simply recommend. During our first visit the doc came in with a leptospirosis vaccine - this isn't required, but I do recognize as important.
This may be personal preference, but the distinction to me is important and I like it to be communicated in advance. I also really like the utilization of the PetDesk app, makes scheduling a breeze.

They take time to answer any concerns you might have and educate you on the best ways and options for taking care of your pet. You can see that every member of the staff truly care about animals. I've only been in to get my pups nails trimmed and glands drained but it was a great experience. The receptionist was so kind and chatted with me while they took my dog back and she made sure I brought canned food items so I could get my discounts. And it was much more affordable to go here than to my previous vet. We will definitely be switching over to Fort Street kind staff and great prices.

When my wife and I moved from out of state a little over 2 years ago one of the things we worried about was finding a vet we liked as much as the one we left behind. Our 8 year old boxer is set in her ways and there are certain things that have to be done when taking her to the vet. They are not major issues but it can be stressful to ask a new vet to help with those things. All the doctor's and staff at Fort Street Vet have been nothing but helpful, kind and understanding. Wish I could give them a sixth star!

I came to this Vet with a very sick dog - the length at which Dr Tordrup and her staff have gone to save my dog is nothing less than commendable. I know Dr Tordrup has put in lot of her own time researching and consulting with other specialists to ensure Molly receives the correct treatment. There really aren't words to thank her or her staff. They are the best! Our journey is ongoing - I feel we couldn't be in better hands. Thank you Dr Tordrup!

Hands-down the best vets I've had in decades. When I moved to Omaha this summer and my rottie developed some really bizarre symptoms, I was referred to Dr Tordrup. She did an amazing job getting him diagnosed, even reaching out to other specialists when his tests came back with strange and contradictory reports. She was able to correctly diagnose him & start treatment for a pretty rare disease when most vets would have given up and told me it was behavioral not physical.
My rottie is a BIG boy who intimidates most people but the entire staff treated him like the big mush he is from day 1. Just as a function of having a lot of senior pets, we've had a couple emergencies and they've always been able to take care of us. When we unexpectedly had to put down our elderly cat, they went truly above and beyond to ease the situation for both her and us.
If you're looking for a new vet, I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough. All of the vets are amazing and all of the staff are equally amazing. By some miracle, they also have very reasonable fees and Dr Tordrup really went above & beyond researching the most affordable ways to treat my big guy.

This is an incredibly caring staff and doctors. We had a very ill Wheaton Terri or, who required extended hands on care. The doctor and staff instructed us on caring for our dog properly at home, and provided care for him while we needed to be at work. Appointments are timely and my pets are well cared for here. The doctors were also very helpful when we needed to make a decision about end of life for our dog. I can't imagine that there is a more kind and thorough vet clinic in Omaha.

The staff and vets at this location are very polite and take great care of the animals. You walk in and you are always greeted with a smile and a hello. It makes you feel right at home. My dog, Molly, LOVES, Dr. Rogers. Dr. Rogers has taken great care of Molly over the years and I am grateful for that. If she tells you a story about the big dog that got attacked by the squirrel and the little dachshund that rescued her, that would be my Molly. :-) One thing that I have noticed with all the staff that is really neat is before touching/petting any of the dogs they always put their hand out, let the dog sniff their hand, and then will pet the dog.
With Molly being older (12 years old) I have been doing laser therapy treatments for her. They seem to be working as this past weekend Molly was trying to eat things off the counter and she has never done that before. She is reverting back to being an ornery pup!

As far as I am concerned, there is no better vet in the area! The technicians here are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. We have two dogs that we have rescued, Molli and Bailey. Bailey the min pin is a bit of a nuisance barker, but they are always so patient and welcoming of her! So glad to have a staff that takes the anxiety out of going to the V-E-T.
We would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Tordrup -- she is so relatable and really has the best interest of all of her furry patients at heart. Thank you, Fort Street! We will be going through you for many years to come, and will be telling everyone about the great experiences and care for our pets that you provide!

[Disclosure: The principal veterinarian is a good friend.] Great staff in the front and the back. You'll be greeted well when you walk in and your pet will be treated well when being examined and receiving care. Billing and communication are also strengths here, being clear and timely. That helps as well.

Have been here a few times with the new kitten. She had shots and spaying, all of which went perfectly. Dr. B personally called after the surgery to let me know our kitten was doing fine. He also called a day later as it was going into the weekend, just to make sure I didn't have any concerns as the weekend was approaching. They do a thorough job on exams and wil carefully check your pets teeth.
My now 3-yr old cat had tartar already which I didn't know. They do have the Science Diet t/d for controlling tarter. They also have a feline toothbrush kit which I bought. Now my 10 yr old cat is getting his teeth brushed and I'll be getting toothbrushes for the other two as well. Dental disease is a biggie, so make sure your pets get a good exam for that once a year and try to maintain dental care. Wonderful and caring staff. It's clear they love animals and ensure your pet is made as comfortable as possible.
