Housebound Hounds is a professional dog walking and pet sitting company established in 2000. We are fully insured and bonded and have excellent references. We are always prepared for any pets' needs and ensure that your pet will receive the best care and love. Their happiness and safety is our priority and we strive to provide a service we would want our own pets to receive.
In summer with high heat and humidity we take extra precautions to ensure the safety of your pet. We will avoid hot sidewalks and walk in the grass utilizing the shade if possible. We may shorten the walk and utilize indoor play time. In winter we take extra precautions. These precautions might mean utilizing Musher's Secret (TM)-a 100% natural wax that protects paws from the build up of snow, ice and provides an added protection from salt and ice melt chemicals.We may reduce the length of walk and utilize indoor play time to complete the visit.
Providing quality time with your furry friend and walking at their pace. Our professional dog walkers ensure your fur baby gets exercise, potty time, and loving care. Peace of mind with reports of your family member, including a brief note, report card of activities (potty, walk, water available, treats given, etc) and a picture.

The Housebound Hounds team is amazing. All the ladies show so much love and care for my energetic dog; the quality of care is top notch! I get a picture of my fur baby from each visit with a summary of what they did. I love the fact that my dog gets a daily walk and play time too. I would highly recommend them!

I hired Housebound Hounds a few weeks ago to let my new pup and senior dog out at lunchtime since I'm unable to go home at lunch. Meet and greet visit was nice to look at the house where they will be and got to meet all the dog walkers that would be entering my home. We are 3 weeks in and they have been amazing at caring for my animals. Great people and great service. Highly recommend using their service!

I am so grateful to Sue and The Housebound Hounds team! Housebound Hounds was a great find. It took a leap of faith to trust my dog and my home to them but they did not disappoint! My dog is getting exercise, play, treats, fresh water, potty break, and someone to check in on her while I am away. Give them a try! They are wonderful! Paige and Cassie are highly recommended.
