If you are new to Family Dog, this is a good place to get an overview of our training center. We offer a wide variety of classes for all sizes, ages and breeds of dogs (regardless of pedigree!), as well as private lessons in our 5,000 square-foot Kent facility. We are conveniently located off Highway 167 with easy access. Folks drive from all over Western Washington to take weekly classes from us.
Our group classes are limited in size to ensure plenty of individual attention for all participants. Family members, including well-behaved children, are encouraged to attend class and participate with the dog.

So Far, So Good! Registered our puppy yesterday, in person, as I was having trouble on line. Natasha was VERY helpful, and super courteous. She was very thorough addressing all my questions and concerns. The "classroom" looked well kept and truthfully, more then adequate. I'm very excited to see how our dog does! I really do not for see any real negative opinions forming in the future, If there is any concerns I WILL edit my review ! Oh yeah, very reasonable prices! CAN'T WAIT!

This place is amazing! I adopted my first puppy, had no idea what I was doing. called and spoke to Liz, who was awesome! She was super informative and really knowledgeable. We ended up signing up for the perfect puppy package, with Liz but I'm sure all the trainers are great. Now our Thor is one year old and just so well behaved. I wouldn't have been able to do it without them.

They treat you like family, and your pup as well. Over the last year my dog and I have gone here for multiple classes. It seems as though they make a great impact on families enough so they return to classes and continue on with them. People know instructors by name, and their recommendations are genuine and tailored to fit your pups needs. Even during covid they've been fairly on point with their precautions.

Family Dog Training Center is a fantastic facility to mold your pet into a good boy or girl!. I've trained several of my dogs here and so has my girlfriend. The trainers are great at what they do because they love animals, it shows and it makes all the difference. The level of dedication begets a higher level of expertise that will result in a great experience for pet and owner alike. Puppy obedience is a must have and once your pal passes an appropriate obedience level, you can take on agility training which is more fun for you and your pet. The experience bonds pets and owners in a way that simply having a pet will never do.

Great experience with the Home Obedience class. Jennifer was a great teacher and we'll definitely be back for the next level of training. The dogs are kept far enough apart to make sure that they aren't distracted by the other students, which is extremely helpful when trying to train an easily distracted dog. Also, they train the humans - not just the dogs!
