I took my new dog Lucy here today and the staff has been so nice and very helpful with her! They have explained everything I need to do for her (regarding shots, getting her spayed, and any testing) and gave me two different rates for prices and I got to choose what I wanted to do! Definitely didn't feel like I was being forced to choose the higher option!

You definitely are paying good money for what your dog gets! I will be bringing Lucy here again and maybe even switching over some of our other dogs at home! Thank you guys for all your help and getting us in so fast!

I can't say enough good things about the people there. A yr ago we had to have our beloved mauzer to sleep unexpectedly. I was calling around frantically the day. Before looking for a vet and nobody could fit me in. I called. Midway that moring Without. Hesitation they told me to.bring him in right away. The. Staff. There was amazing. They were great with our.

Dog and with us. The doctor. Even stayed with mauzer and us until.he went to rainbow . He didn't even know us or our dog. The people there. Really care about the animals.and owners. They are not money. Hungrey like some vets are. I will continue to.take my furbabies. Here and scaly babies. Here as long as I can Thank u midway veterinary staff. When you have parrots finding a good avian vet can be a challenge. I had an emergency with one of my birds and called Midway. Dr. Poutous was able to see him the same day that I called. The exam was thorough and he spent quite a bit of time explaining things to me. I was very pleased with the service I received at Midway and am so glad I found an avian vet that I have full confidence in taking care of my birds.

The team at Midway are very professional and friendly. They take the time to make you feel welcome and make sure your concerns are addressed. The doctors there are the best! They are very knowledgeable and you can tell that they care very much about the health and well-being of your animals. I love the Midway team!

This vet is wonderful! I have taken my rat, Charlie, there numerous times and he has passed and recently I've had to take my guinea pig, Winnie, there urgently for an infection. They were available that same day, and got her in and taken care of quickly. The Dr, Dr. Miller, was hands-on and caring, and made Winnie comfortable. She also answered new mom questions I had. Great price for the care you receive! I love them here!

Absolutely amazing staff. Very professional, very kind, and rather affordable. I brought my dog here quite a few times. They helped her as much as they could and her doctor had even come to say goodbye before she went. Very sweet people and I'd highly recommend them. Even though I brought my dog here for her final moments, I had brought her here here many times before as well and they'd helped quite a bit every single time. Once again, HIGHLY recommend. :

All the staff is very responsive and helpful. I have had nothing but good experiences here with my dog. Our doctor is very thorough and I know my dog is getting the best care with him!

Many animal hospitals claim to have great customer service and be able to treat an exotic pet. But really don't deal with them much. I have a bearded dragon that was misdiagnosed at another animal clinic. I decided to bring him to Midway. The staffing are very professional, courteous, time efficient and very knowledgeable about various types of species.

I found out my bearded dragon needed surgery and I become very worried. But they assured me that he would be ok. During the procedure, they called me and gave me updates on his progress. I wouldn't have gone anywhere else to have him treated. I think I found a permanent veterinarian for my little guy. Thanks Midway

I disliked setting up an appointment for my 2 guinea pigs and then being charged a WORK IN FEE for one of my pigs. I feel like if that was their policy then maybe being clear on the phone that I would be charged for not filling out duplicate copies of the e-forms, instead of being told that I would just have to fill them out in person at the appointment. Thought being treated like that was wack, there are better places to take my animals.

My experience was excellent. Even with the craziness of the pandemic still affecting our daily lives the staff is kind courteous and attentive. The staff takes the time to speak and really listen and the doctors explain everything themselves. I recommend this vets office to everyone.

The staff at Midway so kind and understand. I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours of calling for my parakeet, which was having eye issues. I was greeted with 5 minutes of showing up for my appointment. The vet and technician were patient with my questions and concerns. I felt at ease with their patience. I would definitely recommend Midway to anyone with a bird or any other exotic pet.

This is my go-to veterinary practice for all 9 of my pet rats. The entire staff is very welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional. No one has ever batted an eye at the presence of the rats and most of the staff like to say hello to my frequent visitors! And while being a regular at a vet isn't ideal (because someone is sick) it does make me feel like they really care about each of my pets.

I've had some pretty sick rats in the past, and I feel like the vets here have always listened to my many many rambling concerns and questions patiently. They've always been open to my input and requests, and worked with me to ensure my rats receive effective treatment. Even my many follow up phone calls are answered with warmth and kindness, which is so important when someone is struggling emotionally with a sick pet. I'd highly reccomend this exotic vet for anyone with a small critter or rodent!

Midway Veterinary Hospital staff members and the attending veterinarian was caring for my little budgie. I did appreciate the patience and careful diagnosis for such a small creature. Thank you!

The people were so AMAZING, they took great care of Cash and I. It was very quick service and they are being very safe with Co-Vid restrictions. They acted like Cash (my cat) was their own pet and treted him how I would want him to be treated. The prices are great and once again A+ 5 service. If you live in Chesapeake or surrounding areas you want to bring ur animals here.

I would rate these guys 10 stars if I could. We brought our mouse in, and ultimately made the decision to euthanize. The entire staff were so incredibly kind, sensitive, and helpful even about a mouse. I felt they truly cared and took their time to discuss options and treat him. We called around 8am as it was an emergency situation and they fit us in right away.

I couldn't have wished for better care. Dr. Miller did an excellent job talking us through everything and comforting us. She took her time and made us feel like our tiny mouse mattered. We have the option to use the more affordable naval vet clinic, but I will continue to come here with our other animals because the care was simply unmatched. They let us use the comfort room and gave him back to us in a nice little pouch.

To the team: We buried Jack with a photo of us and a tiny blanket I knitted for him, and we planted some beautiful yellow flowers over him. From start to finish, everyone was so wonderful and made the experience as calm and caring as possible. It truly meant the world to us that he was so cared about as we loved him very, very much.
