Dippity Do Dog

Our first visit was fine. I called Dippity Do Dog to make an appointment for a deshed and bath. I do have one dog that doesn't get along with other dogs and they were willing to accommodate our special situation. As he said he does this for other customers. He asked if I would come in at 6 AM on a weekday because they don't open until eight.

I thought that's great. I'm a nurse and used to getting up early and I happened to be off that day. First visit went fine. They still had a lot of hair when they came home but it had been a while since they had been deshed so I wasn't too surprised. He was also limited on time because the shop opens at eight. Otherwise I think he did a good job.

So we agreed I would come back every six weeks. I called last week to book my next appointment for the same bath and Deshed for both dogs. They scheduled me for Saturday morning at 6 AM. I recently moved to Queen Creek so this is a 30 minute drive for me now but they did a good job and accommodated our situation so I wanted to continue giving them my business.

I showed up this morning and no one is there. Gas prices are high these days and I just spent 30 minutes driving to Chandler and now back home which is an hour total for nothing AND on a Saturday. I really would've liked to have slept in like they did! I will not be back. There's no excuse. I need a place more dependable. I also looked through the Windows and there's water puddles all over the shop. Just freestanding water. That's a little concerning but also looks pretty dirty all over so I'm happy with my decision not to take my dogs back.

Just got a quick nail trim for our pup. Quick, painless, perfect. Had my dog groomed upon a new visit. They did a great job.

Not my best experience for self serve. I have a Samoyed. The one working dryer was much to weak. I left with a very wet dog. The cleanliness of the self serve - the sink clogged but I pulled black dog hairs out of the sink drain. My dog is white. The towels did not appear clean as they were covered in large lint.

We have been bringing our sheepdoodle here for over a year. and she always looks adorable after her spa day. The folks that own & operate the shop are kind & always accommodating.we will always use them & will continue to refer our friends. Best DOODLE cut in town!

I see reviewers on the small biz hating other website (starts with a "Y") talking about the customer service. One - owning a small biz in 2020 and 2021 was nearly impossible. Two - it's obvious English isn't these folks' first language. But they do their best and they do great! TO THOSE REVIEWERS I'D SAY - try it yourself or LIGHTEN UP. They are passionate about what they do.

On top of this, they are simply amazing at cutting our dogs. I'm not sure how anyone could do it better. We just took our newest puppy in. They made the experience pleasurable for him and even gave him a bandana. (He's so handsome w it!) HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU HAVE A DOODLE! Five stars every time.

I had two dogs who had not been properly groomed in months due to us losing a room mate to a heart attack and not having the money to get them groomed. Long nails, extremely floofy dirty hair, and even some matting on one of them, they were a mess. I dropped them off and when I got them back they looked amazing! Perfect job and a new regular customer gained.

I would NEVER, EVER take your pets here. We used them for the first time last weekend and when I got home that night I noticed my dogs nose was extremely swollen. I have no idea what they did but she's been in so much pain ever since, and her nose absolutely DID NOT look like this when we dropped her off. I can't even figure out what they did to her, and what's even worse is they didn't even let my husband know anything happened. Unbelievably disappointed!

This may have been the worst groomer I've ever had the misfortune to use. I took my two small dogs there for a full grooming. When I went to get them, I asked the man who was standing there how they did. He just shrugged and said nothing. When I got them back, their cuts were choppy and uneven, ears weren't plucked inside or trimmed, one's tail wasn't trimmed at all, faces were unwashed and still had protein build-up, and nails were barely trimmed and not smoothed with a Dremel.

I specifically asked for one dog's dew claws to be cut, but all they took off were the tips, so the nails are still too long and now extremely sharp. The worst part of the whole experience was the way my dogs behaved when they were brought out: my normally happy, loves everybody Yorkie mix was terrified and just laid in my arms and didn't move all the way home.

This is not normal behavior for this pup, so I have to wonder what happened to him in the 4 hours the groomer had him. Needless to say I won't be going there again, and I definitely don't recommend anyone else go either.

We needed a last minute cut for a Cavapoo for a short cut. They got him in promptly same day and did a good job on him. Prior to us bringing him in I attempted to demat and do it myself but he ended up looking crazy. They evened out his cut, got rid of some matting, and made his face look cute. The guy who helped us did a good job at listening to what I wanted and executed the job well.

The place is ok but the customer service is terrible. Went in for self serve and walked in and the gentleman walked from his grooming station to the front counter and looked at me didn't say a word the entire time I was there he said maybe a total of 3 words to me. Didn't seem very friendly and welcoming to have my business will not be returning.

Clean, friendly, very nice to the fur babies, super quick at what they do. Also, the owner is super awesome!

Attempted Self-wash Service = Even though their website says "Appointment recommended, but not necessary", it turns out that it actually IS necessary. No bath time for my fur-baby today, well, at least not here.

Worse groom I ever got in 8 years.dont let LEO touch your dog $70 bucks down the drain! Sent them an email they wouldn't respond back and i tried calling no pick up after they mangled my best friend Jackorillaman not happy

I've been coming here to do self wash for over 3 years. My dog is getting very old and has developed a lot of sores. The owner was very helpful by providing special shampoos, cutting my boy's nails, and cleaning his ears as careful as possible. He did all of this during a busy time and was very patient and calm. I love this place and would highly recommend it!

Not many do it yourself dog washes anymore. We had previously used 2 other boarding facilities stations. 1 that we have boarded our baby at, the other that was 1 block from home (but closed). They have nice ramps for the dogs to walk up to the tubs. Removable leashes and adjustable spray nozzles depending on type of dog. They provide shampoo and conditioner (We don't use conditioner). Combs and brushes, towels and drier. The facilities for the dog are better than mine at home for the human.

10/10! Took my long haired miniature dachshund to get his 2nd haircut ever and we will be back! He looks amazing and best of all not stressed out. Do not go to Petsmart! these people are professional and know how to cut hair. Thank you

Just moved here from San Diego and our Brittany Spaniel, Dover, was in need of a cut. Could not be happier with how Dippity Do Dog did. The shop is conveniently located in the Frye's shopping center on the corner of Alma School and Germann. It was clean and COVID-19 safe. Reasonably priced services including self wash stations. Dover looks amazing and his smile shows how happy he is to be trimmed down. We'll definitely be back.

Great Staff! Super friendly to my dogs and the services was A+! All other groomers in area were booked until mid April and they were all rude w attitude. I called Dippity Do and they got both my dogs in when they were super busy. The experience was awesome! I highly recommend this place!

Quality work and relatively inexpensive. Someone recommended I try Dippity Do Dog to de-shed my dog so I gave them a try. I scheduled a full-groom service appointment for my Akita (80-90 lbs) and the groomer did an amazing job with her! Her coat is a lot lighter, thinner, cleaner, and softer. It took about 3 hours and $78 plus tip, totally worth it. As the cherry on top they helped me walk her to my car when I picked her up because I had my hands full with my other excited dog. I'll be coming back :)

The Staff was very friendly and they did an amazing job on my rarer breed, a wire haired pointer griffon. They took time to see how I wanted him cut and did exactly the cut I asked for! Plus my dog can get a little wild when you get by his face but they did a great job of accommodating and explaining what they did after the cut! We'll definitely bring back our Bennett, thanks again Dippity Do Dog!

I love taking my 4 dogs here. They are always nice and do a great job! In fact, I'll be there tomorrow. Highly recommend.

So we decided to come here for our dogs first groom and to be honest it was a little letdown. We have two dogs and got full service for both of them. One of them got the full treatment and we were happy while the other didn't get her front paws trimmed, if we hadn't noticed we would have paid $90 for nothing. We called and went back to get her paws trimmed and everything was fine. Although the lady at the desk/ the phone is very rude, I'd say it wasn't the worst experience ever.

First time here. I brought my 6 month old porkie (Yorkie and pug). I told them that she's a little hyper one. Gets very excited when she meets new people. I thought she was going to be a problem for them, turns out they did GREAT on her. They did cut her hair a lil much than expected, but it worked out fine because a week after was Christmas and her hair grew out perfectly. Will be coming again!

Do not recommend this place for self dog wash! The entire establishment is very dirty, there is cobwebs & dust all over everything. The actual tub itself was visibly not cleaned after each use. Dog hair clogged the drain, and there was a lot of calcium build up all over the tub. The hose they used for the shower head was a twisted garden hose that my dog kept tripping on, giving the already small tub less space.

The temperature of the water was very hard to control and at times was even too hot for my hands. Which says something. because I shower at a very warm temp. The brushes were falling apart and not clean. The towels to dry off my dog were covered with hair and very old. The overall place looked extremely ran down. I would never trust them to hold my dog over night for grooming.

Their storage crates for dogs were the crappy foldable crates just stacked onto one another with no blankets or padding for the dogs. Every wall was chipping or falling apart. Save yourself the disappointment and make the drive to Wag N Wash. will not be returning. Terrible terrible

Today was my first experience with Dippity Do Dog and I took my 8 month old Huskaranian in for a bath, de-shed and nail trim. I called this morning and they had a spot this afternoon which was super convenient! The ladies were super nice and asked lots of questions. They played with him while I filled out paperwork which was great for us both! When I picked him up, I couldn't believe how wonderful he looked!

He looked like a show dog! His fur was shiny, full, and soft and smelled glorious! His nails trimmed perfectly and they brushed his teeth : He was happy to be there and seemed very comfortable, which was comforting to me as I'm a crazy dog mom! Will definitely return with all of my pups!

This was my dogs first professional groom and I was so nervous. However, Leo was so reassuring, kind and patient. Leo took his time to make sure my dog looked her best. He put cotton balls in her ears when he bathed her, even brushed her more than once to to remove all the unwanted fur. My Siberian Husky looks absolutely amazing. Thank you Leo.

I have taken my Lhasa here since this groomer spot opened their doors. They have always been kind, convenient and caring. Both of my dogs have long hair that needs a lot of care. They know us and it is quick and service friendly. I have always appreciated the support of the owners and recognition as a long time customer. Our pets are our family members and it is important to find the right place. Our place is Dippity Doo.

Just okay. We went back to our old groomer even though they are further away. The place looks like most pet groomers that have been well established but the mood was a turn off. It's the old story where it's the weekend and the younger employers obviously don't want to be there. Also, their product shelves were almost bare and should probably be removed if they aren't going to stock them.

Just had both our dogs groomed here today. What a fabulous job they did on both. Wonderful team of people, friendly, efficient and attentive. Chico & Sasha are still smiling & showing off to anyone they see. We would not hesitate in recommending Dippity Do Dog to everyone. Great job!

So happy we found Dippity Do Dog next 2 Frys Ellie kindly explained grooming options for our Ollie Bear Overall our family had a really good experience Defiantly give the front desk a chance We were all new to our jobs at some point Ollie had some matted patches and staff was able to clip him, trim him and make him looking like a handsome chap. Nail trim for our other dog was only $8 I love a deal and I feel we certainly got a deal:

Terrible experience from start to finish, and my dog is still bleeding. When we dropped our 2 dogs off at 10 AM, we were told that the grooming package would take 4 hours. We drove away to do errands and not 40 minutes later we were called and told that they were ready to be picked up. We were surprised to find out that this 4-hour package only took 40 minutes, and so we immediately questioned the quality of the service.

When we eventually picked them up, we were asked to pay before we even could inspect the dogs, and only after we paid, we found out that our Chinese Sharpei had a massive BLEEDING gash on the bottom of her tail. The groomer couldn't even tell us inside where other customers could hear, so he followed us outside to show us. We took her to the vet to make sure her inflicted wound was treated appropriately.

Upon closer inspection, her ears weren't even cleaned like we paid for. who knows what they did (and didn't do) during the 4-hour package that only took 40 minutes. And to top it off, it didn't even seem like they took them outside to urinate, since they both had a 2-minute long pee right when we took them out. The location is dirty, and the business practice is sloppy to say the least. I would advise anyone who cares about their pet to avoid this establishment.
