Ed Reyes K9 Training is located in Chuluota, Florida, on the East side of Orlando. We provide dogs for private individuals needing a best friend and family protector, we also offer highly selected Schutzhund sport dogs, and dual street K9 patrol dogs. In 1990, Ed Reyes bought his first house and first German Shepherd called Benny. He got into K9 training and as he learned his dog's behavior and then training came natural to both of them. Soon Ed got involved with K9 police training and the sport of Schutzhund.

Wanted to give you an updated picture of Ikro with Ethan and to tell you that both Ethan and I have really enjoyed Ikro for the past 5 years. He has been a great dog and we always feels safe with him around. He is always on guard, he loves to rough around with Ethan, he loves the girls Luna and Sage.

Stop looking! Ed is hands down the best! We have been working with Ed for about 8 months now and continue to be impressed. He is a true pleasure to be around and is great with our entire family. We have 3 young children and a Golden Retriever and they all love having him around. We have used the one on one training where Ed comes to your house and also the group lessons at his facility on Sunday mornings.
Both are great options for all dogs at all levels. Spend 2 minutes with Ed and you will immediately see that he knows what he is doing. Don't be intimidated by the pictures, while he trains police, military, and service dogs, he can help you with any breed at any level. His prices are incredibly reasonable for the level of service you get and the group sessions make it flexible for how often you want to go. We really enjoy our time with Ed, his team off trainers, and his wife!

We had our first training session with Ed yesterday and could not be more impressed. I researched and spoke to many dog trainers in the area before going with Ed Reyes, and I am glad we did. He clearly is very knowledgeable, has a great approach when working with our puppy, and was truly a pleasure to work with. He took the time to explain things to our family, was wonderful with our 3 young children, and the puppy really enjoyed the time.
He helped address some immediate concerns with bringing a new puppy home, corrected a few things we were doing wrong, and left us with tasks to work with the dog on until the next training session. I can't recommend Ed enough for any level of dog training needed!

I have been using Ed Reyes K9 for 2 yrs. I am a single woman living alone. I rescued a Mastiff mix pup & by 11mos she was an 80lb nightmare. She was attacking my smaller dogs & fighting w/my male. I was referred to Ed & thank goodness! He was able to save me a lot of stress & my other dogs pain. We got her under control w/socialization exercises & obedience training.
I was at my wits end & 2yrs later she has adjusted to her place in the pack. As an unexpected bonus, Ed was able to take my shy male & train him as my personal protection dog so I can feel safe & secure in my home alone at night. But the real perk about having Ed as your trainer, is that he takes the time to train the humans (who generally need more training than the dogs ) & actually show cause & effect of why your dog does what it does in reaction to what you as an owner do.
That takes experience & psychology. Of both ppl as well as canines. Ed is a master at both! I cannot recommend him highly enough if you need just basic obedience, behavior correction, or protection. Oh yeah. His prices are from 1980. I'm adding more stars!
