This place is great! Marlene did an amazing job; she's very thorough and you can tell she cares a lot about animals, my dogs loved her. Wagz also offers a loading zone for when you drop off and pick up, which is super nice, seeing as they are right on College in Old Town. I'll definitely be back! Ps: My dogs hate getting their nails cut, but luckily she has a doggy straightjacket

We brought our 20 month old golden retriever in for a bath and grooming. He was a little nervous, but the groomer did a wonderful job. Max looks great and we will definitely be back.

Marlene is my pup's groomer! She is so sweet, and goes above and beyond to meet my expectations. She has done an astounding job over and over again. I appreciate her eagerness to make my dog look and feel good for all different kinds of occasions and seasons!

The first two experiences with Wagz were wonderful. However, they hired a new groomer recently who ruined our experience. I very rarely leave negative reviews. But this experience was the absolute worst I have ever had in 25 years of living in Fort Collins and doing business with local companies. Our dog is a 9 month old Golden Doodle who is very loved by our family of 4.

We brought him in for his second grooming appointment. The front desk person was friendly and welcoming. When we got back to see the groomer she immediately started giving me a hard time about my puppy's matted fur and making passive aggressive insults towards me as his owner. She kept going on and on about it to the point where I became insulted.

The groomer ended the conversation, refused us service, and stormed off saying "it's not my fault your dog has matted fur." I was shocked! We came in expecting a normal interaction like we had in the past and left feeling humiliated and with an un-groomed dog. The owner did come out and speak to me. She apologized for the behavior of her groomer, which was appreciated.

I was disappointed that rather than make any special arrangements to get us in with the other groomer (we waited over a month for this appointment) she made excuses for the groomer's behavior. Which I found very unprofessional given there is no excuse for an employee to humiliate and make passive aggressive insults towards a customer. We have since learned that it is totally normal for Golden Doodles to have matted fur around 9 months old as their coat changes from puppy fur into their adult coat. We found another groomer in town who was so friendly and welcoming.

We had a great experience here today! Our dog has been needing a new harness and we asked the staff if we could measure her so we'd know what size she was. They immediately did everything they could to help us! They helped us with measuring her and let us try on a few different harnesses in the store and walk around with them to make sure they fit. We found one that is perfect! We took our dog for a walk immediately afterward to try it out and it is SO much easier to walk her now! We're so grateful for all the help.

The first time I brought my dog here was wonderful and I couldn't recommend them more. But that was the only time. Since then it has gone incredibly down hill very fast. I have a corgi mix and I do my best to keep up with her fur. I asked for a sanitary trim, corgi butt, and for them to trim her few mats out. They shaved her mats. She has terrible bald spots all over her.

They also did a terrible job at a sanitary trim and her butt is not corgi shaped at all; there are random long spots and they shaved one half because of a small mat and didn't even bother to make the other side match. I do my best to keep up with grooming her myself and I know she can be a bit feisty but I expect better. At least doing what I ask? Wouldn't recommend if you have a anxious dog or a dog with unruly fluff.

What I'm most impressed about this place is how it's been a week since my dog's grooming appointment, and she still smells wonderful. Great spot to get your four-legged friend a grooming sesh!

I took my dog to Wagz today to get groomed. She was seeing Jasmine and it didn't go well. From the start, Jasmine was very rude and unfriendly. I was told my dog would be done in an hour and a half (I was having her hair shaved bc it was matted and long, as well as having her ears cleaned and nails trimmed). In addition, I was asked if my dog moved a lot, and if she didn't then she would remove a fee that Wagz has that charges for if your dog moves during the grooming process.

Fast forward an hour and a half and I receive a call from Jasmine saying that she didn't finish grooming Harley as she found 2 fleas on her (the owners told her as well to just stop in the middle of grooming, saying it goes against their policy). I already treated Harley for fleas this week and sprayed my house with treatment. The fleas on her were either dead or dying, which Jasmine later acknowledged while on the phone with my mom.

I was charged $30 for just shaving her body, which was done horribly. Her body is uneven lengths and covered in mats on her neck still. My dog looks sad and I now have to pay for another grooming appointment at a different venue this week. Jasmine has done this before with my parents teacup schnauzer saying that she wouldn't shave her bc she seemed scared of the razor, but still charged a grooming fee. I have included pics (blue collar pics is how she looks after grooming usually, others are after Wagz)

Their groomer, Jazmine is extremely grumpy & rude. Twice she has left our dogs' grooming incomplete. The 1st time we took our 7 month old schnauzer, she didn't trim her at all. She said the dog didn't like the clippers. Strange, since she'd been groomed by myself and our breeder and didn't mind. She is a VERY laid back, easy going dog.

I took her back a few weeks later. Orville groomed her ( used the clippers ) and said he was great. She looked fantastic. Of course, he's no longer there. I think the dog was scared of Jazmin. Today my daughter took her schnauzer and after waiting for 1.5 hours, jazmin called my daughter to come get her dog/ that they wouldn't finish the grooming because she found 2 fleas on the dog.

She said it's their policy and went into a diatribe about how the dog probably has more hidden fleas. This dog weighs under 5 pounds and her hair is so soft and white, it's almost translucent. If she had more fleas, they would probably be visible. My daughter got another pup a few days ago. It had fleas when it arrived (from out of state).

She washed both dogs with fleas shampoo and treated the entire house. Jazmin admitted to me that the fleas were probably dying and she only found two. She charged my daughter $30 (didn't finish thr grooming) and the dog looks like she has been butchered. Jazmin shaved her body; only trimmed one paw, left a Mohawk down her neck and didn't groom her head at all.

She looks like she has mange. The poor dog is embarrassed. She's very shy and timid and now she looks abused. This woman is so unfriendly to people; I will never trust her with our fur babies. We are done with Wagz.

Terrible! Brought my 60 lb. Goldendoodle in for a haircut. I was called 1.5 hours later (that is not near enough time to give him a good Grooming) and they told me he was done. He looked terrible. There were long pieces of hair all over his body that they missed, pretty sure they didn't even bathe him and they cut his foot. It bled for 2 days straight. I will NEVER return. It was pricey and I don't mind paying if it was a good cut, but it was not.

Rude, incompetent little girls who have no business trying to do this work. Repeated texts to confirm the same appointment, even after positively confirmed, disrupt the workday. Worse, they were followed by notification via email that my appointments were arbitrarily rescheduled, this within hours of my confirmed appointments. Incredibly unprofessional and presumptuous, complete disregard for my time.

My mom and I took our dogs here for a grooming session and at first everything seemed fine. The pups looked clean and smelled great so we paid (mildly expensive) and went about our day. Fast forward to when we get home and my dog is not only limping, but she has a massive cut on the inside of her paws! I can understand if it was a small cut, it happens, but it was at least an inch long if not more.

Why didn't anyone notify us? We ended up taking her to the vet to get her some antibiotics and now she doesn't like ANYONE touching her paws. We will not be coming back to such a careless establishment and if you love your pets you'll take them somewhere else too.

I have been searching high & low for a grooming establishment that cares for my little one and listens to my needs.and I have FOUND IT! The staff is so sweet & made me feel so comfortable & the prices are completely affordable. They're always booked out so ask to be put on the waiting list! 10/10

I have been ordering cakes from Wags Pet Market for years! I have two labs and they love their cakes! I ordered two cakes for a Christmas photo shoot, which I specifically called and asked if I could have Merry Woof-Mas with my labs name put on the cakes! The gal said sure that would work! So I ordered them! When I got them home they had Merry XMas with their names!

Not at all what I wanted! Called and left a message, to which I never received a return phone call! I then called after Christmas and was told what I got was what they sent to the cake lady. Does that make it right? If I ever order again I'm going to have you send me a copy of what I order and a copy of what you send to the cake lady! Might be a good practice for you to initiate to keep things straight!

This place is amazing. Need more? It took two and a half weeks to get an appointment. For good reason, they're the best. This is the place to take your pet. Hannah, Jessica, and Hunter are the MOST amazing people. Jessica helped me fit a harness to my Sheltie (like, she moved the straps around and everything to get the perfect fit). They were done in less time than stated with the cut/ and I told them to do what they recommended.

And Suzy Q turned out like a new puppy. They were the utmost of courteous to my puppy dog. Don't bother with anywhere else. This. Is. Thee. Place. They have an impressive selection of pet toys, and treats, and even dog puzzles as-well. Despite Amazon, they have a BETTER selection and knowledge. Trust me, I know. I have Amazon Prime, blah blah blah.this place is better. Blah blah blah, don't believe me? Okay, hey that's cool.whatevs DOG.

You're loss. This place is a MUST go for anyone who loves their dawg, and wants them to be taken care of by the best. One last pitch?.They're affordable. I was expecting $50 more than was charged. So, I spent it there. The only thing that could have been better: I wanted to purchase a personalized doggie tag. Which they have. But they didn't have the colour I wanted.that's it folks.

I'm picky about my colours. So take my advice, my dog's advice, and the reviews advice and just go here. I haven't had as much fun shopping for someone in months. And mid pandemic, you owe it to yourself, and your puppy doggie. Edit: took my puppy back here again. She got treated excellently the second time. No complaints!

Great customer service awesome selection of goodies for your little buddy. Glad we found this place while visiting Fort Collins. Prices are very reasonable but the staff is definitely very knowledgeable about there products.

Drove up and dealt with no parking ( never is any) to pick up what was supposed to be a standing order for a $60+ bag of puppy food. Trying to remain loyal to small business but new owner could care less about customer service. After sales person on floor insisted that brand of dog food wasn't something they carried (despite my having purchased it a mo th earlier) the gal who does ordering looked it up and saw they did not have any on order while owner looked on, looked up and saw my frustration and said nothing while walking off the floor to go hide in the back.

The sales persons solution? " Poudre Pet and Feed is just a mile up the road, why don't you go there?" My answer: " Because I was trying to give YOU the business." I am so done with stupid and small business that doesn't value customer loyalty. This place charges a premium on everything they sell. Guess I will save some money and go be loyal elsewhere. Bonus, Poudre Pet and Feed has parking and offers to load large bags in your car.

Nice place and really friendly. I'm going to try the groomer out then I'll give a better review.

Wagz is such an amazing place! I have a small timid dog and they are so good with working with her to trim her nails, and also give really good advice for ways to train her at home to beat her timid ness. They are always sweet and welcoming, and they have a huge selection of treats and products which are fun to look at (and pick up a few) while my dog gets groomed.

We had the BEST experience with grooming today! As long as we've had our pup, he's been very stressed when getting his haircut. I always worried that we wouldn't be able to bring him to a groomer because he can get aggressive when he sees clippers. Anna took great care of my little guy. Super professional and sweet with my guy- I felt very comfortable leaving him with her. And now he has a great haircut! Would recommend to anyone!

Brought my little 8lb Shima, Lucy to be groomed. From the minute we walked in we were greeted by the FRIENDLIEST staff! They were amazingly helpful & shared personal experience they had w different products I was asking about. Super attentive! Btw, excellent variety of treats & pet products. Then to the groomer. she was kind & listened very well to my preferences.

I showed her a pic of what I wanted Lucy's cut to look like. When I returned to pick her up, her cut was SPOT ON! She shared how Lucy had responded & you could tell she loved her job & was a real Dog person for sure! Another plus is that I was very surprised at how fast they were. Only 2 hrs. Also, on our way out, I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner & she was extremely pleasant & dog loving! What a find! I'm new to FC & am so impressed with WAGZ! We will be back.

Really nice store, loaded with bunch of items for dogs and cats! Located within Fort Collins' terrific downtown district, this store had a good overall vibe and the staff member was both pleasant and knowledgeable. Enjoyed their collection of doggie cookies with a festive holiday theme!

My boys love going here. All the gals do a great job. I drive from Greeley to Ft Collins just for wagz. The prices are very reasonable and all the gals are super sweet. I've been using Wagz for over a year now and will not change anytime soon.

Wags is a favorite spot for us and our dog! They do a great job with grooming and they have the best treats around, such a super variety. We hit this happy place almost every weekend.

We love coming to Wagz it the only place we trust for our little girl. The staff is AWESOME!

Wagz is a pet supply and specialty store located Downtown Fort Collins. I have been in the store several times. But this time looking for help regarding my dog who had a hard time walking around on hardwood floors in our new home. Matt, the owner not only helped with this by suggesting a product he carries in the store. But aided us with suggestions regarding our other dog who had cancer and will not eat!

Our Lab with the booties is the happiest Labby girl in North Front Range walking around on the hardwood floors. And our other dog is eating once again! Thanks Wagz! Personally I would highly recommend this pet supply business to friends and family due to my past and recent experiences.

My dog was in desperate need of a bath/groom and I am so happy that I brought her here! Dana and Matt were very friendly and took really good care of her - it was an easy/quick drop off and pick up process. The deshedding they did was really impressive. my husky mix literally lost a few lbs from it! With the convenient location, fair prices and incredible service, I am now a loyal customer!
