Critter Sitter

We found Pattie on yelp prior to our weekend getaway, and boy are we glad we did! She met with us a few days prior to get to know our pups, and for us to get to know her. She asked lots of questions about the dogs and their needs, provided us with references, and gave us forms to complete (veterinary information, etc). She put us at ease and it was really nice to go away knowing our dogs were cared for so properly. Each day Pattie sent us text messages and photos of the pups. Thank you so much, Pattie! We can't wait to see you again soon.

We are new to Vegas and know very few folks in town so I was nervous about being able to find someone to take care of our cats while we traveled for the holidays. I found Pattie and all I can say is, "Wow!" She is VERY detailed and professional in every aspect. Her rates are extremely affordable, as well. She is kind and generous and truly cares about the care of your pets. I can't recommend anyone more. If you live in her service area, look no further.

It's incredible how happy Dubs my 10 year old Havanese is when I get home each day. Patti is such a kind, wonderful, caring, and gentle person I will trust with all of my pets going forward. Dubs just tapped me on the leg and said to say he is crazy about you!

Pattie was an angel sent from heaven that came into my Honeys life during her golden years. Honey was my special needs senior dog that Pattie so lovingly looked after with such care and compassion. Honey was on a very specific diet and extremely sassy at her old age. She required extra TLC and Pattie knew exactly how to handle her senior needs. Honey loved Pattie and I trusted her with my baby 100%.

I was never worried about Honey under Patties experience and care. Pattie would send me photos of Honey and give me little updates that I always looked forward to. My Honey lived to 18.5 wonderful years and I am truly thankful for Patties exceptional care towards my precious baby.

To say Pattie is amazing is an understatement! She took such wonderful care of my senior cat, who requires insulin shots for his diabetes when I was out of town for an overnight last year and just recently for Thanksgiving. She went above and beyond to send me texts and pictures of my kitty to ensure he was in good hands. This was all at a very reasonable rate and hands down beats boarding. If you are seeking a caring, animal lover that will treat your pet like gold, look no other place but the Critter Sitter!

I can't say enough good things about Pattie and Michael. They have always taken such wonderful care of my cats, and are great about sending a text to let me know everything is good, including pictures of my girls (and fantastic ones at that, much better than I ever can take) they bring in packages, and notices and do a great job of making sure my house doesn't look like we're not there. They have been completely trustworthy and I have been totally comfortable having them in and out of my home while I'm gone. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

We have a special needs senior dog, Pattie was a dream come true for us! She always made herself available sometimes with little notice- for short or longer trips. Our 11 year old needs medication 2x a day and on a strict feeding schedule and Pattie gave special attention to the details which were so important to us. She brought him on daily walks (sometimes multiple a day) and also let him in the back yard to sunbathe which he loves.

A true animal lover who brought comfort to our dog and us while we were away! Pattie sends text updates along with photos everyday. Unfortunately, we moved out of the area but cannot say enough great things about her service! We used her 8-10 times a year for almost 5 years and really sad we can't take her with us to our new neighborhood!

Used Patti last spring when I went in a 10 day vacation. My dogs loved her, her kept me updated on how they were doing, and I came home to happy, clean dogs. Highly recommend

This is a late review but better late than never I guess. I've used Critter Sitter in 2014-2015, when I lived in Vegas. I've lived in 3 cities since leaving Vegas and I haven't found anyone who comes close to Patti. We have 2 cats one is extremely shy and scared all the time and the other is needy. I had interviewed 4 other pet sitters before Patti and my cats just gravitated to Patti.

She is very trustworthy, kind, and professional. She sends updates and photos, replies quickly to inquiries, is very reassuring and loves what she does and is great at it. Ever sitter/boarding place before and since have left my cats a little stressed out and we were very lucky to find Patti.

The owner of this business is incredible! Neko and Pepe Le Pew (two cats) are well taken care of when Pattie visits them. I can enjoy my time away and know that they are safe and sound. She always sends pictures and I appreciate that the fur babies are being taken care of by one of the best in the business. I would not trust my fur babies with anyone else. Thank you for always being there for my pets:-) I definitely would recommend Critter Sitter the next time you need a pet sitter.

I admit that I am an over protective nut case when it comes to my dogs. I find it extremely hard to trust anyone with my Houdini style escape artist Shibas. Finding a boarding facility is always a source of anxiety for me. I happened to meet Pattie in my neighborhood by chance. In-home care was never something I had even thought of before, but after meeting Pattie and observing how reliable she was for my neighbor's dogs, I gave her a shot.

She came to our home to meet the dogs and give an initial consultation. We set up our dates and with a deep breath, I left town leaving Koga and Sango in Pattie's care. HA! Boy, that was needless stress! She's fabulous! I'm sure by now, you have read multiple reviews and see that she comes three times a day, texts pictures and gives you an update at each visit.

She gives wonderful care and service. But what I would like to offer in this review is peace of mind for parents of pets that are maybe a little difficult to handle or otherwise give you extra reason to stress over extended care. Pattie is patient, trustworthy, and she CARES. She cares that your pets are well looked after. She cares if they need special handling.

She knows how to open and block a door at the same time (an important skill with 2 Shibas in the house)! And she doesn't overbook herself so that she can offer the best service possible, I therefore recommend that you contact her as far in advance as possible. We have now had Pattie babysit Koga and Sango several times. We are moving from the Las Vegas area and I can only hope that we are able find someone in our new town that is half as good as she is.

I had to be away for 5 days and I needed someone to look after my cat. After consulting Yelp, I phoned Pattie of Critter Sitter. She came to the house to go over things with me, get the keys she needed, meet Jasmine, her charge for the few days, and see what else I needed. My initial reaction was positive. I felt Jasmine was in good hands when I left.

Each day Pattie came, she sent me a text with a photo of Jasmine and she let me know how she was doing. She didn't just feed and go. Part of her way of operating is to spend some time with the pet, something I'm sure Jasmine cared about because she had been alone before. Now that I've found Pattie, I will use her services again when I go on anticipated trips. For this trip, I learned that Rule #1 is always to consult Yelp before making a decision. Rule #2 is don't forget rule #1.

I met Patti in a grocery parking lot. We started to chat and she ended up writing her pet service on a scrap paper. Eight months later, my mother passed and I needed to go back to CT in a hurry. Concerned for my two Yorkies, the first person I thought of was Patti. After the consultation, you realize that not only are your pets in good hands, but your home as well.

It really all comes down to trust! How nice not to have to worry about your pets when you're away. When I returned, my Yorkies were excited but I swear they would have been thrilled if Patti was behind me. Those that have the opportunity to meet Patti, with or without fur are truly blessed. I would give 6 stars if it were possible. Patti is wonderful. We left our 11 year old cat in her care for 8 days. The cat needs eye meds and she was wonderful with that. When she came to meet us she gave him is drops and did it with more ease than I do. She gets my highest recommendation. She is professional, caring, honest, responsive. She is the ONLY person that I will ever have care for my cat in the future. When I arrived home my cat was happy and healthy- unlike when I left him at the vet for boarding.

An absolutely fantastic experience all around. It is rare to find someone in Las Vegas you can trust, especially with your home and your pets. Trust me when I tell you that Pattie is that person. We had Pattie watch our dogs while we went out of town for about 4 days. From the very first appointment, she was completely professional. She came with a packet that outlined all her procedures, insurance information, references, and asked us to complete a questionnaire about our pets and home.

She is obviously very organized, which is great. We chatted with her for about an hour, during which she asked us about our dogs, their habits and quirks, and we showed her how to let them out, feed them, and how to operate our security alarm. She even asked if we wanted her to turn lights on/off, water any plants, bring our paper in, etc! When we left, Pattie stayed in constant communication.

Every time she went to let them out, 3 times a day, she sent me a text update and pictures. Every single time! I was amazed and so grateful to know they were doing okay. She promised she would stay at least 20-30 minutes every time she went, and she actually did (we have security cameras in our house, so we know she did!) She was always gentle and kind to our pets and respectful of our home.

When we got home, we found a nice thank you note from her, and the dogs were healthy and happy. Thank you so much Pattie for your awesome service, we will definitely be calling you again!

Pattie deserves every star and more for watching our cat and rabbit. First, she radiates kindness. You know she's an animal person and she completely understands your love for your furry-baby-pet. We did a walkthrough of the home, while I pointed out key areas and favorite kitty-hiding places. My pets were immediately drawn to her, wanting to sniff her, show off, and garner attention/cuddles. Secondly, and most importantly, she is super careful and cautious.

She comes with paperwork for you, both informational (with copies of her business license/insurance and references) and personal (you complete a detailed questionnaire about your pets). She doesn't wear advertisements on her person or vehicle, so nobody will know you have a professional sitter coming to your home every day. Your key is kept separate from your questionnaire, which means it can't be paired with your address if the items are lost. Pattie updated me every single day with photographs and a small story of what she and my pets did that day. I considered her prices quite fair ($20/day to tend to the cat/rabbit once a day). She helped me feel at ease while I was away and that in itself is priceless.

We needed a pet sitter when going out of town for 2 weeks, and we were looking for a better solution for our 4 cats than boarding them at a vet's office. We have a diabetic one who needs insulin shots twice a day, and another one with kidney problems who needs medication in his food, so we needed an experienced person. And we didn't wanted them to be separated, in small cages, in an environment they don't know, for so long.

Plus they are all quite loving cats, they need attention and they LOVE people. We chose Patti after reading the reviews on Yelp. She replied fast to my email, came for a consultation. and we knew that she was perfect for us and our furry babies. They loved her at first sight. Pattie is the most reliable pet sitter you can find. Her professionalism and her dedication are beyond words.

She is licensed, insured, with very good references, and she is very concern about the pets. Not only she did send us pictures of our cats a few times (we were missing them so much, this attention was for us more than a blessing), but she also took care of our mail (so no one would know we were away, and having someone in the house twice a day is also so relieving) and was really easy to contact.

When we came back home, the cats were happy to see us (and they've never been like that. They were always letting us know that we "abandoned" them for a few days-mess, attitude, accidents.-. Not this time.) They were calm and the house was clean! And no vet smell on them. Alleluia!. Her prices are more than reasonable, and the peace of mind she offers with the quality of her services is more than valuable. My cats will never be boarded at the vet anymore. We have our 100% trusted pet sitter now! We are more than happy we found Critter Sitter. We are blessed!

I am so impressed with Pattie and her services. I needed a sitter for my little mongrels and she came to the rescue. I was disappointed when two different sitting services never showed up and another never called back. Pattie met me the same day I called and explained Her services in detail. She was sweet, patient and licensed and insured. While I was gone she sent me constant text message updates and even pictures of my puppies. She kept my house clean and safe, and her rates are very reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend Pattie from Critter Sitter for all your sitting needs! A++++++

Once again we needed someone to watch after our little fur balls, we were going home for the holidays. I put in the request about two months prior to our actual dates just to be sure we had coverage during the holidays, and they had no problem with the dates. About a week before we were to leave I got a confirmation text and we left a note on the counter with the payment as per our arrangements.

The prior encounter, we had agreed for them to keep our house keys for future arranged visits. Pattie is very reliable, does a thorough job, and sends daily up dates and an occasional picture or two. Excellent service, if you thinking about using them, do not hesitate!

No friends available and we needed to leave town. Oh, no. but then we heard great things about this company. we called, they wanted to meet and asses my dogs(pitbulls). she was happy with there obedience, up to date shots and loving demeanor. we negotiated a deal that was fair. upon arriving home I was shocked how thorough she was. she evaluated my dogs every time they were told to go potty. my older dog is all business and back to the door, but my 5 year old like to sniff and chill, then down to business. she also left notes about how to get her trained like my alpha bitch. what a great service, they won't even wear a labeled shirt (or car) so people don't know your gone. they have a great key system so if they are stolen a crook could never find your address.
