Drury and the staff at Waggers are such amazing people. Look how cute my little Posey looks with her sassy haircut and flower! I know new customers are frustrated that it might be a while before they can get an appointment but I think it speaks very highly about the precautions and safety Waggers takes when it comes to their clients. They could easily be a turn and burn facility disregarding the health and welfare of the animals who come there.

The reason they are the best is because of the quality and care they deliver. Hang in there, new clients, for it is worth it once they can take you I promise! Thank you for being so good to our family, Waggers! We love y'all!

Today was our first experience with @WaggersDogDepot and we were very pleased. They're kind and they obviously love dogs. We brought Toby, our 1 1/2 year old Bernedoodle, who is very active and was overdue for grooming. Cristina (sp?) took on the challenge and did a GREAT job. She came out afterward and spent time with us to explain everything she had done and what to expect going forward. Would recommend them and will certainly be back.

There's a reason Waggers is so busy, they are the best of the best. I have been bringing my dogs here for years, started with the original owners. The level of cleaning, care and interaction with the dogs is amazing. The cuts are always exactly what I ask for. I think that's the key to getting what you want, simply ask. I noticed a few reviews that were not 5 stars and I must say I'm really shocked, this has to be the best groomer I have ever used in the 30+ years I've had dogs.

We had our 2 fur babies dropped off and picked up from Waggers while we had our human baby. They were absolutely accommodating and communicated well with our pet sitter. SO HELPFUL. We were able to return home with our new little girl and we're greeted by our well groomed, fresh smelling and happy fur family. Would overwhelmingly refer them to anyone looking to have their animals cared for. Waggers has become part of our family.

I took my little dog to have his nails trimmed. They are wonderful! I have also taken my 3 GS there to be groomed in the past. I have never had a problem. They have always done a great job for all my dogs!

First ever grooming appointment for our new shelter dog and had a 10-star experience at Waggers. When I called to make the appointment I was given clear expectations and all of my questions were answered thoroughly. I am new to the dog-grooming world and they helped walk me through what to expect. Liz gave our terrier an amazing cut. She cleaned up her face and paws but left some of her natural scruffiness as I asked. This dog has never looked or smelled so good and she seemed to have enjoyed herself as well. Will definitely be back!

I took my dog in for a grooming. She looked quite bad, she came out looking beautiful. They are a little pricey, but did a great job of cutting her hair

Not a fan. We are new to the area and hoping to find our new groomer. We brought our 2 dogs - a doxie mix and a poodle/terrier mix. Barbara did a good job on the doxie. But the other. Barbara said she had to muzzle him. He's nine years old and has been to a groomer many many times over the years. No one has ever had to muzzle him - in fact, he lets you do anything to him.

On closer inspection, it looks like Barbara cut him too close in a few places towards his back end. I'd get testy too if someone did that to me! We won't be going back.

Absolutely love Waggers! We have taken our Goldendoodle, Asheton, to Waggers since he was only a few months old, and he just turned one. Highly recommend Liz - she is phenomenal! Such great work every time we go. She also is super friendly and adds cute touches like a bow tie or bandana for Asheton when we go. Thank you Waggers and Liz! We have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Ideally they are not trimmed or very little, especially if you are showing. We are not showing and wanted to get Maya, aka Your Highness, trimmed. We were really fortunate to get a groomer that had owned a Cavalier and gave him a perfect trim and grooming experience. They were patient with my concerns and very kind.

I really love this place! Liz is the only groomer who has ever given my dog a decent haircut! He's a poodle and she took a ton of extra time to educate me on what would be best for his hair and where to buy the tools to keep him detangled. I told her I couldn't afford to buy the exact tools they sold at the shop and she showed me how to buy them cheaper online and I am so grateful for her!

Just go! I have taken my dogs and friends dogs to Waggers for years! I love to give friends gift certificates to Waggers! The grooming here is the best of the best. These folks love my dogs as much (maybe more!) thank I do. I have never, ever had an issue with Waggers. They can always get us in - within a week - and they take such great care of my pups! Again.just go!

I can't praise this dog grooming salon enough! My golden had turned into a stinky mess! What I got was a beautiful perfectly executed grooming, toenails clipped, undercoat gone, paws trimmed, ears trimmed and clean, but trimmed. Absolutely beautiful!

Waggers is fabulous. Today was the first time we used them to groom our King Charles Spaniel. They knew exactly how to get hair out of ears to help prevent infections and they did everything we asked and did not cut what we did not want cut. The gentleman at the front desk was also a big help. Definitely five stars.

Most importantly? My dogs are happy here. I have a lovely Newfie with awful skin allergies requiring grooming every two weeks. When I moved to Asheville and asked around, Everyone recommended Waggers. My girls (the lab goes just to keep the Newfie company) have been there about 24 times a year for the past 5 yrs. I will admit, I had my reservations with the change of ownership a few years back; but Rocky and the team have continued the quality we had come to expect.

They have been wonderful keeping track of special shampoos, following the dermatologists' requests, and generally monitoring her condition. AND, my pups look and smell great!

We took our Golden to Waggers based on the reviews here and boy were we wrong! We told them we wanted him groomed to the standard and apparently they have no idea what that is. They didn't touch his ears and I don't think they even combed the hair there. They hacked at his feet and feathers and when we pointed all this out they said that what they had done was their standard and kept saying that they had done it right.

I have attached a few photos of what our baby looked like when we got him back. A note: they hadn't touched his ears until we commented on it. The ear photos are after they took him back and did what they do with ears. Note the lack of grooming at all on the ear hair where it wasn't chopped at. Note the part shaved, part lopped off hair around his feet.

Note the hacking at his bottom feathers and leg feathers. We looked on the NextDoor App and found that everyone on there had the same or similar experience. To end an otherwise terrible experience and because we pointed all of these things out to the groomer and owner, the groomer, when we were leaving said, " Goodbye Merlin! We love you!. Too bad you have such terrible parents." Terrible parents only because we expected a good grooming from people obviously incapable of doing one.

So very happy with the service at Waggers and the cut and care of my pup! I was able to get an appointment the morning that I called and Rocky was super informative of the process and what all the different services included. I explained my previous (poor) experience elsewhere and what I didn't want. The gal who groomed my dog was so friendly and consulted with me for 10mins on what she would do. He looks awesome and I can tell he even likes his fresh new look! Thank you all for a stellar job! We'll be back next time!

Joelle and the rest of the staff at Waggers do an amazing job! My dog Charley can be hard to handle with her grooming needs. But Joelle is very patient and gets the job done! We give Waggers 5 paws up!

The BEST groomers I have found in Asheville. When I pick up my Schnauzer each time I am overwhelmed with how she looks. I have been searching for a groomer that does what I want and have found it here. I definitely recommend Waggers for your precious ones looks.

We were on vacation in Asheville and Waggers was recommended to us when our cocker needed a bath. They were able to get us in and Amanda did a beautiful job. She greeted our dog and asked specifically what we wanted. Lucy bounced out looking great. We will certainly call them again when we visit.

Took our fur babies there and they did an excellent job! We dropped them off at 9am and had a call bt 11:20 that they were ready! Thank you for getting them extra cute for the Holidays! :

Wonderful! Calm, respectful, and understanding to your pet! Never had a bad experience or unfriendly service. Also Waggers is cheaper than the big box groomers such as Petsmart of Asheville.

I am really grateful to this place! They do a GREAT JOB and they are worth it. I just brought my two girls in, one had a poison oak infection, and they did a good job with her. They created a diagram so I could see what was going on because it was under all that fur. I went straight to the VET and got her shots and taken cared of. Had they not told me I would have not known. Such nice people and I am a big fan of their work and also communication. They actually are care and are passionate which makes ALL the difference. Thanks Waggers!

New to asheville. New puppy. First grooming. I was very anxious bringing my new pup for his first groom. I have bathed my poodle at home and eventually want to cut myself. But, need a couple professional cuts first. I brought poodle pics indicating the "style" i wanted. Not every poodle needs to look like he is competing at madison Square gardens. Picked up my boy about 2 hrs.

Later and the cut was perfect. I have a relatively macho looking toy poodle who is not embarassed by any superfluous puffs or shaved spots. Ears are clean. Behind clean. Nails trimmed. I will return in the future

Love Waggers. The whole is fantastic, groomers have done exactly as requested and the prices are extremely reasonable! Place is always clean and I've always been greeted with smiles. Thx!

Have been taking my dog to Chris and Rob since I've had her - three years now. Top notch service at an affordable price. Today my Freyja had her first ever hair cut, and she looks great! They must have taken 50 pounds of hair off her- she has to be much more comfortable, and lookin stylish to boot. Thanks to Chris, Rob and everyone over at Wagger's for taking such good care of my pal.

Less than impressed. Being new to the area, I did a search on reviews looking for a groomer. Because their reviews were so good, I called to see if they could just trim my dog's nails. She is a short haired mix, so that is usually all that she needs done. They told me to bring her over. They took her back & within a couple of minutes, they brought her back & said they couldn't do it because she wouldn't stay still!

Do all dogs just stand still while you work on them? She has had people trim her nails lots of times before without any issues at all, so I don't know what the issue was. Took her somewhere else the next day and got the job done without any drama or comment.

It is hard to get an appointment here right away but it's worth the wait. The groomers were very patient and welcoming to my sometimes shy large bernese mountain dog. They spent over four hours on him and did a spectacular job. The staff cares!

I don't own a dog, but have an older family member that does have a small dog. After moving back into town, they were looking for a nice little place that understood small dogs, were friendly and affordable in dog grooming and Waggers Dog Depot was a great find! They take/make appointments, have friendly staff (both to the owners AND doggies) and the pricing is good (my family member is on a budget).

They were also proactive about what shots were needed saving us drama when we showed up and telling us. My family members little doggies was very pretty and clean and we really like these folks and what they do.
