Jane's Canines

Such a great grooming experience at Jane's Canines! My pups came out happy and clean! The staff is friendly and booking was easy. So happy to have found a groomer for my boys!

This day care service is filled with incompetent workers and the owners who blindly back them. Owner is outrightly rude and terrible, as he made a phone call to pick our dog while i was in the middle of my work day. They also made a complete mess of my refund, I don't ever plan to go here but wanted to post the review so it outlines the quality of the service this establishment provides.

We love Jane's Canines! I love that they've expanded to have the grooming and boarding separate so it's less overwhelming for our pup when he's just there for a groom. We have boarded him a few times and he always came home happy and playful!

Both of my Great Pyrenees were beautifully groomed to my specifications and wishes! Thank you so much! I don't trust anyone else with them. They are so excited to go to Janes. I enjoy our travels knowing they are safely boarded while we are away.

The staff here is awesome! They know and love our dog! When we get a few blocks away stella starts jumping around excited to get there and see her friends! We've been going to Janes for several years and have nothing but great things to say about them!

Jane's Canines has been a part of my family since spring of 2015. I was diagnosed with cancer and had just obtained my new Wheaton puppy. He was a bundle of energy and my chemo was not going to allow me to give him adequate exercise and care that he needed. I had 2 other dogs in my home, as well. We started taking our Wheaton, Rocco, 3 times a. week and we have never looked back.

I beat the awful cancer and Rocco was never going to return to just being with me at home. He would whine at the door in the mornings when I tried to scale back his care at Jane's. Fast forward to today, our other two dogs wanted to know what their brother was doing when he was not at the house, and they spent a day with Rocco at Jane's. Guess what? Yup, we have 3 Jane's Canine dogs that go with Rocco as often as I let them.

My oldest dog is 12 and he really wants to go a lot but he is so tired from playing and walking with the group, I have to keep him home. He gets so mad! We also use Jane's for our dog grooming. They do a fantastic job. The cuts are perfect and they are maintained by the grooming staff about every 6-8 weeks for us. The staff there is absolutely incredible.

They are caring, nurturing, professional and responsible. Like I said, they are family. We are in Texas now and took our dog with us - they are sad to not be at doggie day care with their friends. We have used Jane's Canines for our two dogs for several years and can't say enough good things about them. Everyone we have encountered there has been delightful to work with. Professional. Positive. Thorough. Caring. Sincerely happy to see us and our dogs. We highly recommend them for grooming and boarding.

They are great and have taken good care of our pooch. The staff is friendly and involved. In fact, when we came to pick up our dog, they were in the middle of walking him with the other dogs! So, there's proof that they do actually walk the dogs. : This made us very happy. We hope to continue using their services!

We love Jane's Canines! Not only do they board all dogs in pens, NOT stacked crates, but they also provide low-cost grooming services. They are attentive with caring for and walking boarded dogs three times a day. They have always been nothing but receptive and accommodating of our two dogs' needs and our personal preferences--even being flexible with pick-up times.

We just picked up our dog from the groomer at Jane's Canines and she looks amazing! Our dog isn't the easiest to groom. As in we have been turned away by a few places because of her reserved and skittish nature. John and the groomers met with us prior to dropping her off and everything they said they could do they did! We have a groomed dog who is waggin' her tail and lookin' great! Awesome experience!

Jane's is under new ownership so disregard the last review which was potentially true. Jon is a man with a heart of gold and runs a business that centers around the pets. My beloved Boston Terrier, Oban loves it there. He has hated all other groomers. They have beds, toys, walks and training is available. It is the only place I will leave my dog. I have several other friends who use Jane's as well and they love it! Give it a try.

Today was our first experience with Jane's Canines and it was fantastic. We had our very active puppy groomed for the first time and the groomer was amazing. I plan to take our puppy back for regular grooming and boarding, and recommend it to any dog owner who want the best for their four-legged friend.

Jane's Canines has really been a godsend for me. I have an energetic lab mix who loves going to Jane's for daycare. I love their flexibility and the fact that I can drop her off as often or as little as I need. I feel she is well cared for and she always comes home having exhausted her seemingly endless supply of energy. She runs in each day and is so excited to "play with her friends at Jane's."

Really impressed with the service and care that Jane's gives my 5 fur babies. Chel's grooming is the best we have had for our yorkies, schnauzer and cocker spaniel in years! The kids at the front desk are so helpful and friendly- the prices were great too which really matters when you have multiple pets :-. I would totally recommend the grooming services- haven't tried the boarding yet but will if we need to in the future. Thanks, Jane's!

I absolutely LOVE Jane's Canines and can't imagine bringing my dog anywhere else for grooming or daycare! She is always excited to go to daycare and beyond exhausted when she gets home. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I always feel confident that I am leaving my dog in good hands!

Even though we heard some shady things, we gave this place a chance anyway. I honestly don't put alot of faith in reviews. This place however has earned the bad reputation. We are new to leawood and maybe our old place just spoiled us, but here is what Jane's is like. Our dog spent the day laying on a cement floor in a smaller then our bedroom chainlink pen.

No dog beds, no toys, no water, no access to outdoor space. They do walk them, but I'm not sure how comfortable I am having a stranger take my dog on a flexi leash across a busy street. Its also pretty pricy. Had I not been late to work I would not have left him there once I saw the set up. Another dog there was being drug to the back by its collar.

He wasn't happy to be there. Not what I'm used to seeing. We will be making the drive back to our old place in overland park. Even the guy at the desk looked unhappy to be there.

If you are looking for a very well-run, clean, safe, affordable, and happy environment for your dog, go here. The staff is wonderful and very attentive, and makes an effort to bond with my dog. I appreciate that the staff also works on training during daycare, and my dog is always exhausted and happy when I pick her up. The owner, Jon, is very knowledgeable and helpful. Saying that he has gone above and beyond when it comes to customer service is an understatement.

He has stayed to speak with me after hours regarding concerns or questions I had, helped me out with training suggestions, and shows a genuine interest in the needs of customers and their companions. I've had nothing but a lovely experience with daycare, and have boarded my dog here several times and been very happy with her care. The weekend pick-up options are great for whatever time I get back in town, even when it's been earlier or later than planned.

My dog gets all her meds, normal feeding times, walks, and a large room instead of a kennel, gets individual attention, and does very well when boarded at Jane's. I highly recommend Jane's Canine's to anyone looking for an attentive and positive environment for their dog.
