Muttropolitan Pet Grooming

I'm greatful for the professionalism, and how efficient they are. I know working with two seniors dog's like Bella and Ticker can be difficult, they manage, to both get them out in less than two hours. And they are both very happy dogs after wards I'm happy

I have a German Shepard and they're great with him. My dog always come back looking great and fresh . I have been coming here for awhile now and they've been awesome.

THIS IS A ZERO STAR REVIEW but I'm only doing this because yelp review over the last 1 year are all 5 stars (I'm assuming they remove the bad reviews!) This place yells animal cruelty! I've been taking my pup here since 2018 but noticed dramatic change to their service and cost (maybe groomer changed?) Since my last visit, they claimed that my pup was being difficult and bit the groomer.

Mind you my pup is 14 years old and never did I see her bite someone. However, I can the groomer the benefit of doubt since grooming can be scary for any fur babies. With that said, the groomer noted that they will add surcharge to the regular grooming fee (for pup being difficult) which I was okay to pay. To this point, I was "understanding". However, when I took my dog in for grooming today, the state my pup came back in no longer leaves me at an "understanding" state!

When it was time to pick up my pup, they called noting she's ready for pick up BUT also squeezed in a note of "we will be charging you more from what was originally quoted because she was being even more difficult today". THEY HAVE MY DOG AND CALL ME TO RAISE THE PRICE? SERIOUSLY? But okay, money. fine. it's money. HOWEVER, after bringing my pup back home, I've noticed that she wouldn't stop shaking and scratching.

Thought maybe the shampoo didn't go well with her skin so decided to give her another bath. Guess what I find, a HUGE CUT under her armpit and her entire skin is bright red and she looked miserable from all the discomfort. Again, benefit of the doubt - let's say my pup was being difficult and "accidentally" injured her, THEY SHOULD TELL ME! After all this and they had the audacity to charge more than the original price and ask "IF I WISH TO TIP"! If you love your pup, DO NOT GO HERE!

Thought it was a good idea to give this place a try as I've noticed excellent reviews. Never ever have I've been so wrong! Since I picked her up from grooming, she wouldn't stop vomiting, scratching, and shaking for a whole day. She's walking around with her tail completely curled up and only to find a scar on her as well! What is this place doing to the pups?! She's normally a happy pup and never afraid of people! Now, she's afraid of everything and can't even walk straight! This is animal abuse!

I rarely review things but hopefully this helps someone. Bring your dog here if you want to have him or her abused. I wouldn't trust these people with washing my laundry let alone bathing and taking care of the family member. Don't say I didn't warn you. Picked up my dog scared and shaken with dried blood in her fur. When we got her home she threw up all day and hasn't been the same. Don't do this to your pet.

Had to take my frenchie to get his nails trimmed. Was able to book a last minute appointment and turns out only one of his nails needed a trim. The owner was super sweet and didn't charge anything and was very kind and hospitable to my dog. Since I live next to this plaza, will definitely come here for any grooming needs!

FYI THIS GROOMER CANT WORK WITH SENIOR PETS! I used to love this place until last month, I've been a customer for more than 5 years I have two dogs both seniors medium size about 23lbs each but my Luna can't stand for too long anymore and obviously I let the groomer Ernesto know or who ever I speak to when making the appointment, anyway last month when I picked up my babies the owner started telling me how difficult is to cut Luna's hair because she keep on sitting and this and that, there's only one groomer doing all the work and it's a lot for one person, I've seen three different groomer come and go so props to the groomer that can work under those conditions, I understand she wasn't happy about getting involved having to carry Luna so the groomer can cut her hair.

She could of told me they don't work with seniors or something why complain? I never do when she increases prices because I am well aware on how difficult it is to cut their hair that's why I take them there and don't mind paying $160, but if you are going to groom them and then make me feel like you doing me a favor for a service and not even make me feel welcome again then of course I will complain, Ernesto the groomer like always very nice but the owner not so much my feelings were hurt I love my dogs I didn't like what she said or how she said it, I am taking my babies elsewhere where we can feel welcome and the owner is more understanding.

Great experience at this place today my two doggies got their nails trimmed and one of them got a really nice trim and shampoo. I recommend calling ahead of time but we live nearby so we just popped in.

It was my dog first haircut. They did a great job. Can't be happier with her new lion cut looking.

Ernesto is incredible. He saved the day with a homeless puppy who needed grooming desperately. He did an incredible cut. Muttropolotan LA. Highly recommend.

After our favorite groomer for our dog moved out to the desert, we were looking for a new place (so daunting!) for her. This was our 2nd time visiting Muttropolitan (the first time was just for a bath but that was a few months ago) and the first time getting a trim/haircut. The owner let me send an example picture to describe exactly how I wanted my dog to look after a bath and haircut.

She was so kind about communicating this to the groomer, Ernesto. To my surprise, my dog came out looking just as good, if not better, than the example photo! She was so clean, happy and beautifully groomed. Ernesto was so lovely, accommodating and just from the short conversation we had as I was paying, you could tell he just loves his job and dogs. Especially because we'll be walking distance from them next month, I'm deeming this our new place for our dog to get groomed!

After having moved from Hollywood, I am so incredibly happy I found this place! Ernesto always does a wonderful job on keeping my little Dougie looking fresh. I'm glad I found a reliable groomer that takes very good care of my dog and would highly recommend!

Very Happy with my puppy's grooming. They followed all of my instructions. She came out exactly how I wanted her, Marzy is kindof a hassle to groom, she moves around a lot. I'm so happy this is the first time a groomer hasn't cut her ears. Thanks so much Ernesto. Will definitely go back for regular grooming!

First and foremost, I want to say how grateful I am for Ernesto! This was Milo's first time ever getting groomed, and my first time ever bringing a dog to the groomers. They made the process stress free and seamless. I am so grateful at the patience, care, and love that they put in. I truly feel that Ernesto went above and beyond! The sweet woman also eased me and I love that they stress the importance of the safety of your dog.

They would rather not complete the cut, than accidentally cut your dog. Muttropolitan is now my go to place for all of Milo's grooming needs! I'm sure Milo is extremely happy and ready for the hotter weather coming up! Thanks again Ernesto and Muttropolitan!

I've been looking for a place to groom my super fluffy pup and came across Muttropolitan near my neighborhood, and I'm so glad I found them! The groomer, Ernesto, did such a beautiful job and now my little girl looks like a posh princess :. The owner is really sweet and they made sure the cut was exactly what I envisioned. So happy to have found a great groomer so close to home!

We love taking it dogs to Muttropolitan! Ernesto does such a good job on our Schnauzer especially! It has always been hard to find a groomer that will cut him the way we like but Ernesto has done a fabulous job from day 1! Our schnauzer can also be a handful but everyone at Muttropolitan are so sweet to him and we are so very thankful. We also take our 13 year old corgi there and they do the best de-shedding treatment we've ever had done on her. I would absolutely recommend taking your dogs here as we have had nothing but positive experiences. Thanks, Muttropolitan!

My family and I have been taking our pets to Muttropolitan for awhile now and since we adopted a new puppy, we wanted her to get used to being groomed. Ernesto did such a fantastic job with Conan! The people here are always so kind and really make you feel comfortable about leaving your pup there for a few hours.

I brought my dog here since he was getting really dirty. Ernesto did such a great job! I've had issues where other groomers don't really deshed him. But over here, Ernesto groomed my dog that when I took him home, he wasn't shedding all over me. The lady at the front was extremely nice and caring and answered all of my questions! Thank you so much!

This place really cares about your dog and also does an amazing job at grooming! I was telling the very sweet lady in the front that my dog is really scared of the blow dryer. She explained that they also have a dryer that they can put my dog into. Although it takes longer, a lot of dogs who are scared of the blow dryer is fine in there. She also assured me that Ernesto always takes the time to connect with the dog and is monitoring how the dog is feeling. Highly recommend!

They did such an amazing job with my 5 month old puppy. This was his first time at the groomer and they were so kind and friendly to my squirmy anxious puppy. I was worried he wouldn't sit still long enough to get the hair around his eyes trimmed and they actually did it! It only took an hour and a half to get him groomed. They also worked well with me.

I have never taken a dog to a groomer so I didn't know what kind of cut he should get. But they took a good look at him and gave me their suggestions and I love how he looks. I will continue to have my dog groomed by Muttropolitan LA. Also, parking was easy, there is a free parking lot in the plaza. When it wasn't Covid you needed to pay for parking, so I don't know how long free Parking will last.

Our little guy was a bit overdue for a bath, so we decided to take him to our neighborhood groomers and get him proper session. We pass by Muttropolitan nearly every day on our morning walk, and Barley's always curious of the other dogs in the window, but this was our first time getting him all spruced up here. You can tell they genuinely love the animals they take care of, and Ernesto even came out to give us a full report of how Barley reacted and behaved.

Now our dog smells fresh with a shiny coat, has clean teeth and trimmed nails, all for $45. And he was only there for an hour and a half. It's so nice to find a place that's so close we can trust to take care of our dog.

Brought our dog Joey here for the first time a couple days ago. Extremely friendly and fantastic customer service. Ernesto did an amazing job on joeys haircut and he was so happy after too. He is very knowledgeable and friendly to dogs and humans alike! I highly recommend.

Terrible place, don't take your dog there! They left her injuries on her ears and now she, my dog, Canela has an infection in her ears. Lots of blood from here ears we had to take her to the Veterinarian. I called them and they completely ignored me. We are so dissatisfied and disappointed about this place. Don't take your dog to this place! Ever

I am so happy to find this great place near my work. I brought my dog here for the first time today, and my dog looks so pretty, Ernesto did such a great job grooming her, very nice bath, nail trimming, the works.the people who wok here are so nice and happy.thank you! will be back soon!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!y babies have been every where but here is where they don't stress, they are not frighten, and the staff do everything they can to check up on them and give me.updates. NOW they're open every day! Bad dog salon experiences? BRING HERE! My brother's overly scared cat goes here too, can't go wrong with great deals and service!

Convenient location (honda plaza) Easy to find The only place my dog comes back un-tramatized and looking amazing- Every few months it's like I get to take home a new dog! The owner and staff are very accommodating and listen to my every specific requirement for my poodle mix's groom. I've been taking my dog here for around 3 years and trust them more than ever.

I don't mind driving further from home for peace of mind. The photos on the website are pretty accurate- I will post some here The prices are very fair- I say a place like this is hard to find, give it a try
