Reservations can now be made through our new app Gingr. No more long waits for a call or an email back. You are able to request your dates and add all of the details that you'd like to include for your pets stay. You can upload immunization records, feeding and medication schedules and more saving you time at check in. You only have to set up your profile once saving you time and effort making a reservation in the future. At the Doggie Dude Ranch our purpose is to provide a safe, fun place for your pets to be when they're away from you.
Services
Playmates are carefully selected based on temperament and play style. First, our trained Technicians get to know your dog in order to determine the appropriate playgroup or playmate. Dogs are initially introduced through fencing, then on a leash. Once new dogs are comfortable, they are brought into established, supervised playgroups.
Birds, hamsters, bunnies, and guinea pigs are just some of the other pets that are welcome at DDR. Due to the increase of boarders during these times, additional employees are required on-site to accommodate all guests. The actual prices will depend on the breed, size, and condition of the pet's coat.

Our dog is 50 percent Pit 30 percent Chow and 20 percent who the knows. (Mutt). We got her from a rescue, "Yavapia Trappers". She's a bit skittish around other dogs.and people.just about everything and everyone! When we board her here they're able to find a dog she can get along with and play. When we pick her up.it's like, "Hey back so soon? I'm having too much fun here!". Definitely a good sign TRAVEL HAPPY

BEST BY FAR place to leave your animals! I drive all the way from Cottonwood to take my animals to the Doggie Dude Ranch. All the employees go above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable when leaving my 4 legged kiddos with them. They occomodate me with any and all of my requests. My dog loves this place.

We were unable to book boarding at our normal place as they were full. So we started researching other dog boarding. This one, having been in business over 30 years sounded pretty good. On the website it stated $28 per night. Upon check-in they were unable to find her in the system nor were they able to find the vaccination records I sent. I offered to re-send it from my phone.
They said it wasn't necessary and took down her info. When we picked her up on a Monday morning (as they are closed on Sun) after boarding 6 days, we were shocked at the total bill. I said, "I thought it was $28 a night. He said, "oh they raised it to $30 last summer. Now it's $35 but it went up to $40 today because of Spring Break". WHAT?!
I told him your website says $28. He says "oh their going to change that today". What about the other two price increases? When were they going to update for those? And, we were told we could have paid an "extra fee" to pickup our dog on Sunday. Nice of them to tell us that after the fact. Poor business practice. Not going back!

Our dog came from a rescue. They found her in a run down shack emaciated trying to take care of her six puppies. She's still very fearful of men and loud noises. So we weren't sure she'd be ok in boarding. We had to leave her there for five days. But when we picked her up she was super happy and outgoing! It turns out the staff found another dog she could play with. Our dog's also a pitbull and usually doesn't get along well with other dogs. Thank you Doggie Dude Ranch for taking that extra time to make her feel more comfortable.

We dropped off our two dogs for a two night stay. When we were greeted, the staff was lack luster and did not seen happy to be there. I asked for a tour and was shown only a small hallway and a small play area. I did not have a great feeling about the place but left them anyway. We picked up our dog on a Sunday and again staff seemed nice enough but just not happy to be there.
I felt like our dogs did not get enough exercise at all and were in the kennel most of the day. They told me they would have about 5 15 min small play sessions. In the small area that they showed me my 2y/o German Shepherd would never get tired in 5 15 min play sessions. Doggy dude claims to be a luxury ranch. There is certainly no "ranch" where your dogs can run around all day and it is definitely not luxury.
Our dogs are our family and I want the best. Give it a a shot for yourself but most of the reviews here are prior to covid. It seems it has affected the place and I will not be bringing my dogs back.

Great staff, great atmosphere. My four pups love their time here. They are always excited to enter the building and always come home happy after their stay here. Pricing is fair and reasonable. If you are looking to book for a holiday make sure you book well in advance! I highly recommend this facility.

This is the second time I have boarded our dog there (this time just overnight), but I regret not driving up there to drop him off a few weeks ago when we took a week long road trip. This place would have been way way better for our dog than the annoying city-dog places around Phoenix. This time they also bathed him and did his nails, (I don't know how they did it because he doesn't like it done and is not easy to deal with). Honestly, I drove away feeling guilty for not leaving a generous tip (It's easy to get sidetracked when trying to control a super excited dog).
I think their prices are very affordable and I love the somewhat rural atmosphere. hats off to the gals that work there, I could tell they were insanely busy on Saturday and they work so hard. I will think of some way to send them a tip. I hope they continue to properly adjust their prices if inflation gets worse because I would hate to see that business suffer because of their own generosity.
I wish they had a "branch" somewhere just outside of Phoenix, maybe one around Sedona and maybe another one near Payson. Sure there's competition in some of those areas but these people do it right!

I was hesitant to take our dog-avoidant Yorkie, Peaches, to any sort of doggie day care, but I thought I'd give it a try at Doggie Dude Ranch. With their gentle care and encouragement, Peaches now has friends she looks forward to hanging out with, and she goes twice a week for her play time. It seems to me that everyone who works there takes the time to really get to know the dogs and find the best way to make their stay pleasurable. Thanks!

We LOOOVVVVVEEEE our Doggie Dude Ranch. Our very active purebred Blue Heeler has been coming here since he was 4 months old. He's even stayed while we've gone on vacation. He LOVES it! He jumps on the gals there every Friday when he spends the day. Now they do baths & nails! And super affordable.what's not to love?

I was incredibly nervous to drop my dog off for the weekend. I adopted him from the animal shelter in Mesa and was unsure how he would react to being boarded. When I dropped him off, all fear I had was gone. The staff was incredibly nice and you could tell they loved dogs. I knew my dog was in good hands when three staff members came to get him and swarmed him with love.
I was able to enjoy my weekend and I know he enjoyed his too. Thank you C Bar C for taking such great care of Rocco! I think he was just as sad as you all were to go. We will definitely be back in the future.

Doggie Dude Ranch is a great place to board your dogs! We have used their boarding and grooming services twice now and our pups came home looking fantastic. I was leery about leaving our dogs at a kennel when we leave town but they make us feel confident our dogs are well taken care of while we are gone. I would definitely recommend this kennel to everyone.

I was up in Prescott for a month and had my dog, Duke with me. There were a couple of occasions where I had to come down to Phoenix for the weekend and needed someone to watch Duke while I was away. I believe my dog to be loyal, but Duke was always 100% willing to leave me when we showed up. I take that as a sign that he really enjoyed his time with the staff here. The staff were always nice and accommodating!

We dropped off a healthy pet. We got him back, underweight, not eating and with diarrhea despite calling every day to see how he was doing. "Great", "Having fun" was what we were told when we called. When we picked him up we were told that he hadn't eaten for several days and wasn't feeling well. He lost more than 15 percent of his body weight while he was there. How is that 'Great'? Doggie Dude Ranch? No thanks.

We have been bringing our dogs here for a year and this review is long overdue! The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Our baby Hailey loves it here! We have never put her in boarding before so we were a bit nervous about leaving her for four nights. I am happy to say that she was such a happy and yummy smelling doggie when we picked her up (she got a bath at my request) Everyone here is super friendly and they answer all your questions. Hailey will definitely be visiting Doggie Dude Ranch again! Thank you all for caring for our baby!

Love this place! Our dog was so scared when we first took her to daycare and they were super patient and nice. Now, after a few months of going, our dog jumps up on the attendants to lick them and has come so far socially- with people and other dogs there. They take the time to get to know your dog and it shows.

We came from California to visit dear friends and at their suggestion.brought our dog.epic fail! discovered their dog liked being an "only" dog? Doggie Dude Ranch to the rescue! We took her the next morning where she was warmly welcomed, spent two stress-free days and even got a bath! Saved our sanity and our dog's hide! She was a happy camper when we picked her up! The young ladies were so helpful and warm! We will definitely be back!

My dog is always excited to come to the Doggie Dude Ranch for dog-sitting. I brought my dog with me to inspect the kennel prior to leaving him, and the dog received lots of attention and petting while I got to look around. The kennels are clean, spacious, and the dogs obviously receive a lot of attention. My dog has a sensitive stomach and does not like other dogs, and this does not seem to bother the staff at all. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves their dog!

We have boarded our Doberman here several times with good results. They are very helpful and accommodating. The kennels are spacious and have easy anytime access to "outside." For our budget, this works fine. Ideally I'd love to see her spend more time in the play yard, and if you want to spend the extra money you can do that for your dog. For our dog the perfect environment is home, but without a pet sitter, this is the next best thing. The employees seem happy to see her, and she always returns in good health.
