Wow. They did a great job. My dog Lola spent a couple weeks here and she was so happy. They were so nice when I had date changes and accommodated me with compassion attached. They also helped with discounts to help out with the costs at checkout. My dog means so much to me and I wouldn't recommend them if I didn't think my dog was well taken care of. Great establishment! Thank you City Bark!

Wouldn't recommend. This was my last resort, as an independent sitter I was hoping to book with had no openings. As reluctant as I was, I boarded my 8 month old puppy here for a week, in a luxury suite, hoping he wouldn't fall into the category of bad reviews for this place. He was boarded as "non social" because he isn't neutered yet, which I understand and had no issue with.
There was an additional fee per day for non social boarding, which I was okay with as I assumed it covered extra playtime and care with staff since he couldn't participate with other pups. Each night was $66. I can't say for certain, but I'm almost positive my dog never left his kennel for anything. He was returned to me COVERED in dried urine. His toys were soaked as well, and he reeked so bad that i had to shampoo him twice when we got home.
I did decline the optional bath they offer before returning your pup to you, as I wasn't expecting him to come back covered in his own urine. I know being in a new environment is stressful to dogs, and having accidents is definitely something that happens. But I just want to know what kind of neglectful environment is being run here, because his condition was highly unsanitary and the least they could've done was contact me to ask if they had permission to bathe him, even if it cost extra.
I guarantee my dog was like that all week long and they just allowed him to live in his own filth. I had checked the website daily where it says they upload "report cards". Not a single one to be found, and the only cameras that you can see, are of the group play areas. No cameras were in the kennel area, which i find interesting. Probably because they don't want you to see how little attention your dog is getting.
He has also been acting strange. When I picked him up, I heard a staff member literally yelling at a dog that was barking. Dogs bark, and you work at a boarding facility where they get nervous, what kind of reaction is that? Just adds to my belief that this is not a caring facility, and rather a place where they want you to think your pet is getting adequate care, but really they do the bare minimum and only give them food and water.
I also gave permission to let them do solo swim sessions with him, since he was being isolated. I'm assuming that never happened because my invoice only covered the boarding fees. $540 to have my pup sit in a box covered in his own urine, with probably no interaction at all. Save your child and your money and avoid this place.

After writing a review that outlined an unfortunate incident with my dog (who was supposed to be isolated from other dogs but still ended up with a large and deep scratch next to her eye), City Bark indicated that the manager would reach out. No one ever called, even after I pointed out in the review that I had not been contacted.

I had heard great things about City Bark, and our dog had a good experience on her test day and first stay here. However, we recently left her at City Bark for two weeks, and when we picked her up she had a large and fairly deep scratch wound (about 1.5 inches) next to her eye. We had paid extra to have her boarded and exercised away from other dogs (as she is dog aggressive), so we were curious as to how this accident occurred.
When we asked, they had not made any specific notes about the incident with the other dog, and when I called to inquire, I had to leave a message. No one has called back. This was very disappointing, as the staff does seem genuinely caring. That said, they do seem a bit understaffed and very unresponsive, and I fear that the inconsistency in staffing leads to accidents like the one our dog had. *UPDATE* As of 4/16, no one has yet called us, despite the message indicating that we would receive a call from the manager shortly.

I was picking up a dog that I was dog sitting. They handed me his urine soaked bed without saying a word, I later found out they don't take the dogs out after dinner. This dog also had a wound on his back with powder poured on it to probably stop the bleeding. Again, I was thinking told absolutely nothing when I came to pick this dog up. Negligent is the only word I would use to describe this place, if you care about your dog avoid at all costs.

I've boarded my dog here a few times. They offer various packages, you can pay more to receive daily pictures. However, there isn't any follow through with this. They couldn't locate my dogs collar at time of pick up, tried to send me home with another dogs blanket another time. Weren't able to locate a boarding reservation, but thankfully were able to fit my dog in.
They just generally seem understaffed and poor organization. I was told that someone would reach out to me to discuss concerns, but no one ever followed up Update:Still no one ever followed up.

I think my dog had a great experience (especially for his first time boarding)! They were very accommodating to his needs, as I needed him to only have solo play time as he is an intact show dog. They put him in a special in/out kennel so he could have some extra playtime! I even went back into the runs to pick him up - they were pretty clean considering I used to work at a boarding facility myself, and have seen it all. They were a bit more pricey than others in the area, but sometimes that comes with the territory. We will probably board here in the future.

Up until about 6 months ago we absolutely loved this place. Our dog loved this place. He'd come home happy and totally worn out. We've used the daycare services just to socialize him once a week, and we also board him a handful of times every year, and it was always a very positive experience. Our last boarding experience in August ended in our dog being stuck in his kennel all day, until the afternoon (on the concrete floor without his bed, because he allegedly had an accident.) I understand things happen, they were short-staffed, so I just made a note on our next reservation that I'd like to be called if something like that ever happens again, because we would prioritize picking him up if we knew he was stuck in his kennel.
Nobody ever acknowledged this. My husband has told them upon dropping the dog off for daycare that we'd like to be called if there's a time when he isn't actually playing, because we'll just come pick him up. Nobody ever acknowledges this. Yesterday I checked the webcams all afternoon and never saw our dog playing, so when my husband went to pick him up he asked how much he'd played.
The dismissive woman working the front desk didn't know, didn't care, said the morning crew doesn't communicate with the afternoon people. So it's really anyone's guess what is happening to your dog at this place. As my husband said when he came home yesterday, it's basically a "crappy orphanage for dogs".

Used to be great but now post COVID its just ok. Staff isn't as friendly and acts like they don't care about their long time customers. They not longer hold to their core values and the little things that made this place great are lost. $ is all that matters now for them is how some of the staff acts. Its not uncommon to schedule boarding etc and get no response via phone or web.
Show up in person for everything and hope you get the right communication and information from who is working the desk. Sad to say it but don't expect to be greeted with a smile here anymore.

The owner's response seems to imply that they've contacted me and had a conversation. That has not happened. I sought a play camp to help my 2 adjust to losing their brother recently. They were sniffing around the house looking for him. Sniffing and constantly checking his bed, but won't lay in it etc. I regret that my choice put my dogs health in jeopardy by choosing this place with such heartless individuals.

THIS COMPANY IS ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE. Please see my previous review and their response. They blatantly lied and I have the forms to prove it. The only reason we even realized that something was seriously wrong was because when we picked up our dog he was violently shaking. He also is now terrified of men and is currently in therapy. I am not being dramatic, my sweet golden retriever went from a very happy boy to an extremely scared one.
When I send him to this place I personally fill out the form and I request every available play time option, I always select the very best room and all the treats available. I'd like this company to upload my forms and prove me wrong. I love animals to my absolute core. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR DOG HERE. Not only is the response a blatant lie but it directly clashes with the conversation I had with them over the phone when they informed me that they were forced to put him in complete isolation for humping another dog on day one, only removing him 3 times a day for 15-30 minute periods.
And they "apologized" that I was not informed. I am sorry but if anyone believes it is okay to leave a dog in a box for 20 or more hours per day, you have a serious problem and should never ever care for animals. THIS COMPANY IS ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE.

My dog came out shaking from spending the week here. They kept my golden retriever in isolation. Terrible service told my family our dog would be playing with other dogs all day instead they kept him alone and would send us pictures of them playing tug of war with him to make it look like he was doing something. Not until we picked him up and he was shaking did they tell us he was alone the whole time. Absolutely horrifying. Never will I send my dog here or let anyone I know send their dogs here. Disgusting.

This place is great and I couldn't be happier with it. My dog gets excited when he realizes he is headed to daycare and after coming a few times they were greeting him by name. They recently upgraded their webcams and it is a MAJOR improvement. Daycare is a little pricey (he hasn't stayed overnight yet so can't comment on that) but comparable for the area and still cheaper than having a kid! I honestly feel like my dog is in great hands here and it is a great way for him to be active and socialize while I'm at work. Highly recommend.

Our dogs had been going to City Bark for about 4 months on a weekly basis. Then something changed they were never tired after a full day. So, I started to watch the live cameras for the past few months when my dogs were there and when they were not there. My ADVICE watch the cameras, those dogs are never let outside! Not on 60/70 degree days. never. They are in an 8x 10 room all day! Pathetic!

I found CB this May, in a panic, when wired got crossed on dog boarding, and I couldn't get the usual pet sitter for my pooch. CB came through, and it appears that my dog had a great time while there for the week. It appears to be well run and doesnt have any funky kennel smells when you are there. It does have a Funky entrance, so drive into Hudson gardens' entrance to access their service road

Do not take your dogs here. The staff is low on integrity and the dogs will be kept in an 8x10 room on a sunny day. Dropped dogs off this morning. Sign in lobby indicated pool day for the dogs. I proceeded to check their camera throughout the day to find the dogs were inside for 10 hours. Upon pickup, I asked about swimming and was told it had been pouring down rain all day - so no pool day.
There was no evidence of rain and I checked the hourly weather once I got home to confirm. The gal at the front desk laughed and explained it as 'Colorado weather'. I then asked the front desk gal if the dogs played outside in the afternoon and was told that it rained all day and they don't want to send the dogs home wet (apparently except for the pool) and they have to abide by certain city regulations regarding outside time.
It definitely rained all last week, this week it has been sunny, dry and warm. When you register your dogs, you sign an acknowledgment that dogs may come home thirsty, but rest assured we give them water. It is explained that dogs may be too nervous to drink the water provided. My dogs have come home every time overwhelmed by thirst. My dogs also attend a daycare at their vet one day a week and do not have the same thirst problem.
Draw your own conclusions. City Bark advertises as a luxury daycare and at $34/per day dogs should get more than a bare room walking in circles without water. Also, I'm ticked off that I was lied to. I must look stupid. We won't be going back and will request a refund. I do not think this daycare is safe for your furry family.

Love the atmosphere and the staff. Dogs seem to be happy here. I love that they assess the dogs first and that they are put on rooms based on size. The outdoor area seems really fun too! My only want is for better webcam quality. The webcams are very hard to watch, seem to be still frame shots, and very blurry. Hoping they can work on this system so I can check on my doggy!

First visit. Boarded my dog for a week. Asked about outdoor play time. Was told they go out on nice days. Watched the cameras daily and noticed that no dogs went outside to play, ever. Upon return, was asked if he was taken outside. Was told "I'm not sure". The weather was beautiful the entire time I was gone (early November). Might give them another try, but first impression was nit so good.

The City Bark staff is awesome! Very clean facility and incredible staff. They required that we bring our dogs in for a behavioral assessment prior to the first boarding, which I loved. It's a little inconvenient, but more than worth it to make sure you know them and your dog is comfortable. For the inconvenience, they gave me a whole day of free day care for each of them, which they allowed me to use as two half days for each. Awesome!
We just got home from our first half day, and they clearly knew my dogs and their quirks. One of mine is a hurricane rescue and she's incredibly bonded to me (maybe unhealthily so), and I really wanted to socialize her. They could see when she "shut down" and were able to isolate her with her "brother" until she was ok. They obviously gave her extra love during that time, and helped coax her into playing with the group.
By the end of her half day, she was happily hanging out with the other dogs, tail held high. My other dog is very social but he's a rescue, too, so both needed a little extra TLC. I really believe I found it here and will be a customer for life. So glad I gave City Bark a try!

WOW! Out pups LOVE to visit City Bark in Littleton! We have two larger dogs with tons of energy and every time they go to City Bark for a playday or to be boarded, they come home with smiles on their faces and are exhausted for days. The staff at City Bark take excellent care of them so we never worry about scheduling trips out of town. Sometimes I think the girls have a better time on their visit than we have on our adventures!

The City Bark staff is so wonderful! I always feel comfortable leaving my little one in their hands to take care of. They also know his name and greet us (HIM) by name :). They even have "suites" to put one of my more high maintenance dogs in to be more comfortable while Mom's away. Love you City Bark~thank you!
