Gary's Professional Dog Grooming was founded in 1962 by the late Gary Jettner who built a reputation for quality dog grooming and dog training. Originally, he groomed dogs in his own garage. As the business grew, Gary continued expansion to a store front location on Kenwood Road in downtown Blue Ash.
Gary C. Jettner was the original owner of Gary's Professional Dog Grooming, which he began operating in 1962 out of his own garage. He groomed and trained all breeds of dogs. Eventually the business grew too big for the current locale and was moved to a location on Kenwood Road. Later, the opportunity arose and Gary's purchased a house at 11551 Deerfield Road, which is where you'll find Gary's today. The house was completely renovated to become the efficient grooming business it is today.
My name is Katie and I began work at Gary's in 2010. When I started, I was bathing dogs and clipping toenails. You know, the glamorous stuff. It was not my ideal position, but I stuck with it because I knew where it would get me. It got me to where I am today. I am now capable of so much more than I was just a few short years ago.
A full dog grooming includes a bath, nail trim, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, ear hair removal, and anal gland expression when necessary. Tearless shampoo is used on the head and face. We also offer a full line of specialty shampoos for all skin types and coat conditions, including hypoallergenic, oatmeal, and medicated shampoo.

We are so thrilled to have found Nadia and Gary's Grooming. After having a pretty bad experince with our former groomer we were nervous. Then Covid hit. We could not find anyone. We were told our dogs have too much hair, they are too big. They never even met our babies! Gary's actually called me back. My pups look AMAZING! The care and grooming, the communication is paws down the BEST I have experienced in Cincinnati. We put on The Oakley Pup Crawl and we gve Gary's FIVE PAWS in the air! So happy to have a groomer we can trust to take care f our Luma, Bowser, and Princess Peach!

Previously had issues where groomer unable cut one of my pug's nail but still charged us. It was unethical but they thought it was alright to even charge us. Difference with Ricky at Gary's groomer, he's patient with my problem child, he does one paw at a time and not stress out my dog. We are flexible with time the dogs are at Gary's because how much care Ricky care for our dogs and how much our dogs enjoy being there.

Hidden gem and the groomers are truly dog whisperers. I immediately noticed an odd sound when we entered.no barking at all.not a whimper or whine. Color me impressed. Rickey greeted my dog (a rescue with dog aggression) calmly and thoughtfully. They established an immediate rapport and her stress and anxiety was gone. She usually nervously sheds any time she hers the word vet or groomer. Went in today just for a nail trim, and back in a few days for a full groom. Take your furry loved one to a true spa day.

Clean and professional. They took great care of my fur baby. Honestly they did the best grooming job of any place I have ever taken him, he has a thick undercoat and sheds alllll year. But they managed to brush him all out and he has had minimal shedding since! Will always come back here. Highly recommend.
