Pampered Paws

They always do such a great job! My dog is terrified of nail trims and has thick black nails. But they get her nails done in less than five minutes and it is amazing.

Have been taking my now 14 year old cat here for years for lion cuts when her hair gets too long/knotty. Staff is always friendly and helpful when asking questions. Given the scarcity of cat groomers (from my experience) in the area, they are great at what they do and their prices are more than reasonable.

Monica was extremely helpful and friendly at drop off. Andrea, the lady who groomed my dog, did a great job! My dog is a 2 year old Yorkipoo and she had many knots and matted hair on her belly and back. When I picked her up, she looked amazing and smelled so good. We will keep going back for sure!

Jessica is amazing with our dog! After trying different groomers unsuccessfully, Jessica was recommended to us as she has some experience working with anxious/aggressive dogs. She takes her time with our dog and even though he still is uncomfortable she is able to get every bit of him groomed.

Good with dogs and cats of all kinds! Are willing to work with you and your pet if they are a little bit more difficult as well, but you will need to work with them and their suggestions as well. Have availability to accommodate pretty much any schedule with a day open later and open Saturdays. Also affordable and have self wash stations for you to use

I have taken my dog there previously and was able to get him groomed without difficulty. Today, I tried to call to schedule an appointment and the woman I spoke to was extremely short, rude, and uncooperative- almost as if my business was a huge inconvenience to them. In the future, I would suggest that if they want business, they should act more cooperative and professional when scheduling.

I highly recommend Pampered Paws! My dog came back perfectly groomed after being a little shaggy/matted. I was very impressed with the service, 'I was able to set up an appointment within a week which is very huge these days. Plus the quality of the cut, very happy and will be returning.

We were very pleased with our puppy grooming. The did what we asked and she looked fabulous! We have found our spot.

Amazing groomers! My old groomer recently retired and I've been looking for a new one and I'm so glad I found this place! Everyone is so welcoming and I trust my Bella with them. Definitely will be back!

Terrible experience. Had bad experiences before but nothing like this. Keep trying to give them a chance but I am always left looking like a fool paying and tipping before even seeing how the butchered my doodles. Today they shaved, on accident from not paying attention, a deep line up the side of my doodles leg to the skin! Also for some reason shaved her stomach and inside her legs when I know for a fact she was not matted!

I also said longer coats and short faces and got the opposite with big fluffy ears. My other doodle seemed like they didn't wash or brush her ears, had crusty stuff in them and were definitely not brushed. My poor girls! Definitely will not return, not worth the $165 I paid, and to think I tipped 20% before seeing them!

The day I got a new foster dog he had incredibly long claws. Pampered paws got him in right away and did a wonderful job trimming his nails. A big huge thank you you guys are the best!

A little pricey and the cut was a little inconsistent. We have a 8 month old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and like a family pet* cut vs. a show cut. We got more of a Cockapoo cut that the SCWT cut we got the 1st time (a different groomer) she was groomed.

Would absolutely NOT recommend this business. I have a 5 month old maltipoo puppy. I was very specific when I called about the service I was inquiring about. a simple trim of the hair on her face and cutting of her nails. When I arrived I was booked for a full groom which was scheduled to take hours. A service I did not request. The staff member who took my call & booked my service happened to be there & accused me of not being specific on the phone.

I declined this, as it was not what my puppy needed. As I was about to leave the owner reluctantly agreed to do did the trim. However was extremely rude. I went through with the limited service because they made me feel as though the mix up was my fault. This is my first dog & I had never been to a groomer before. I paid for the service, and tipped her because I appreciated her taking the time to do the limited service.

I was told as I was leaving if the nails grew back, per their policy I could return for a nail trimming free of charge. I called to confirm this service and made an appointment for 2/19/20 for the nail trimming. After the technician started cutting her nails, I was informed I would be charged $14 because the free nail trim is only offered with the full groom.

The owner was again there. She kept her back turned to me the entire time while her staff confirmed that she would charge me for what was supposed to be a free nail trim. She never approached the counter or came to talk to me. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I will never return to this groomer again

Brought our 1 year old Goldendoodle in for grooming. I talked with the groomer saying we wanted to keep her fluffy especially around face and paws. She came home with a buzz cut! So disappointed, she didn't listen to my request at all and obviously have no idea how to groom doodles with wavy coats. Not to mention she was there for 5 hours ( much longer then they originally stated) because they were short staffed. We won't be back!

I have been going to Pampered Paws for 10 yrs with no issues, until 5/15. I had made an appointment to have her groomed a month ago, which I found was odd. I never had to make an appointment a month in advanced EVER. Mary said that the groomer I used was booked till then. When I took my dog in, nobody told me that the groomer had quit. She lied and told me that she called and left a message, but she never did.

They didn't even bother to call before the appointment to tell us that she was no longer there. Apparently, somebody else had groomed my dog and cut her hair very short on the body and the hair on her head and face was still long. I was very upset! They don't know how to run a business and I will not be going back! $70 down the drain

Got my small dog groomed there for the first time today. My dog was very scared but they were great. I stayed for a little bit in case he wouldn't let them do anything but he was fine. Dropped him off and came back like 2 hours later to get him. Everyone was really nice. Will be back.

Took my 10 month old sheepadoodle in for his first ever grooming appointment. I wrote out a list of what I wanted done with an example picture which I left for them to keep (because I was nervous and clearly for good reason) and we talked it through when I dropped him off. This list and what we discussed included "1" body length with a fluffy head and tail". Instead, poor guy got under.5" body length with fluffy EARS and tail. However, they did have to go closer to the skin in some areas due to matting, and I haven't found any areas where he was cut so they did a good job in that sense. Overall, unless you want your doodle to look like a poodle, or you just want your groomer to listen to what you ask for, I would recommend going elsewhere. Make sure to check out the before picture to see how cute my little man actually is.

I took my old male Hovawart to this place for the last five years of his life and they always did a beautiful job. The only reason that I don't take my female there is that she is a extremely high drive working dog and I regularly train at a facility that has a groomer with a lot of experience with working dogs.

I just had my cat shaved and combed out at Pampered Pets. The staff did a great job and were professional and competent while being kind to my cat. I appreciated the low key energy of the groomers because they managed to keep my cat calm during what can be a stressful situation. I'm happy, my cat is happy and we will definitely be back!

My Dog ended up in EMERGENCY TWICE! Do NOT go here! The groomers are careless and put a huge deep gash in my dogs dew claw with the hair clippers! Its halfway off! My dog is in extreme pain to an area that doesn't heal well! I'm on my way back to emergency with her! NO follow up call from management or apology from them or the groomer. Receptionist doesn't count!

After searching high and low for a salon that takes cats (and having had multiple bad experiences with our last provider)- we were excited to find Pampered Paws and meet with Monica. You can tell that everyone who works here really cares about animals. Like most pet owners, we are pretty obsessed with our little guy and Monica did an amazing job on him. He looks fantastic. We will definitely be back.

As a new dog owner, I was in search of a local groomer for my pup and stumbled upon Pampered Paws through Yelp. Located on the east side of Mayfair Rd just a bit south of North Ave, it's conveniently located near lots of retail spots to pass time while waiting. Our doggo was super nervous upon arrival (I think he thought we were tricking him into a vet visit), but the staff member who checked us in was friendly and welcoming and put him at ease.

For $50, he got a bath and haircut, nail trim, gland expression, and ear cleaning. They also offer free nail trims for 12 weeks post-appointment. His full service took about 2.5 hours, so leave yourself plenty of time if you book here. He left with some renewed pep in his step-- I think he's enjoying his new look! We look forward to returning here in the future.

Brought my Aussie in for a little trim & bath. I know my dog is a nervous wreck and wiggly as all get out so I was rather impressed with how good she looked post grooming. Not to mention they also furminated her so she sheds quite a bit less. I'll definitely be bringing the rest of my dogs here for their grooming needs.
