Embark Pet Spa

I love it here! I take my two Poochies, Tuco and Blondie here. They do a great job, truly love the animals, and at a cost I can afford. I know they are very busy (for a good reason!) Make sure to call and book your appointments before your poochie's smell gets to the point of no return!

I've been taking my dogs there for 11 years! They do such a great job and they are great with my dogs! I will never take them anywhere else! I love the groomers. They are so kind & helpful. I've never worried about them being in the care of the wonderful people at Embark. The dogs are allowed to roam around & interact safely as well!

They truly love the animals that they care for! Our dog always comes back so soft, clean and shiny from Embark (she doesn't really need a trim so.) and she smells SO good! It may be tough to get an appointment because so many people bring their dogs here but it's worth the wait!

This is a top tier grooming company. They take such great care of my baby. They have an courteous and professional staff that always provides expected results. My dog Pageant loves this place and you will too.

The staff here was amazing. I took my little Katy in for a nail trim, which usually takes half an hour at the place I usually go, it took less than 5 minutes. They were quick efficient and she wasn't scared. Everyone was so nice and their pricing is super reasonable.

I've taken my cat and my dogs here, and always had a great experience, but for the past year they've been booking 1-2 months out--which is unfortunate because I have a Persian cat. Will need to find a new groomer to take care of my cat!

Called to make an appointment over the phone for our dog's nail trim. They were very quick and courteous when we arrived. They held him the whole time he got his nail trimmed since he was so scared. They did a great job and we will definitely be back!

I took my lab here for the first time and I'm so glad I did. They did a great job, and he seemed to really enjoy it! It's been a few days and he still has the softest fur he's ever had and smells so good. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely loved the staff, facility and results at EmBark! The last groomer I took my golden retriever to they had him crated for over an hour in a stressful environment, and the setup at EmBark was the opposite! My dog was able to wander in the grooming area after he was all done, and he came out happy as can be! He smelled clean, looked clean, his nails were great, and his toes were groomed nicely.

They evened out his leg fur after our at home try, and he looked so much better! The staff was caring, attentive, and I will definitely be making another appointment for my pup again.

With all the horror stories about groomers out there, I am SO SO SO happy I was recommended to Embark by a friend. My dogs are a little anxious so I was very worried about how they'd behave at the spa and how they'd come out of it. But the staff here was great with them and my dogs actually behaved very well and came out looking great! They were so happy and clean. I'm definitely a returning customer and recommend this spa to anyone who needs a groomer. And they gave my doggie these super cute St Patrick's Day bandanas!

We loved this pet spa! We had been to nervous/hesitate/resistant to getting our dog groomed because she is part Great Dane (so huge!) and sometimes struggles when she is separated from her owners. I contacted this business via Yelp and the owner got back to me right away. She reassured me that our dog would be fine and we could stay if we needed to (we could actually see her from the waiting area).

This business did a wonderful job making our Maui smell and look amazing! They also gave her a fur treatment which reduces some of her shedding. I am now constantly trying to brush her to keep up with the great work they started. I also have friends who go to this pet spa and love it. Highly recommend!

Embark takes such great care of our special-needs pup. Our dog is small (10 lbs) but has an attitude. We rescued her later in life and so she is slow to warm up to new people and doesn't like being around other dogs. But at Embark she is calm and relaxed. Embark always makes her looks great!

Needed a savior after taking my dog to the park because he always seems to target the mud. EmBark had openings right away! Their location is small, but wonderful. It looks incredibly clean and has room to hang out while you wait for your pup. They cleaned up my dog very well. The only downside was that they did not include a teeth cleaning even though the price was the same as other places that do include it. Overall, this place did great work and took care of my good boy!

We have been taking our puppy here for the past year every 5-6 weeks for grooming and every time we are beyond impressed with the care she receives. She truly loves going to the groomer because of embark and she comes home so clean and fluffy! All of the employees are positive and caring in all of their interactions. We truly cannot say enough good things about Embark!

I've taken my two dogs here twice for walk in services. I had their teeth brushed, one dog's anal glands expressed, and one dog had a blueberry facial. Both times the staff was friendly, and the services were quick. My dogs seemed happy when they came back.

Our dog came home happy, clean, with perfectly short nails and SO SO SO soft. We have a pug and brushing him this time of year is so hard! It was like he had lost 4 lobs in dog hair alone :. Plus, scheduling was a breeze! I sent a message on Yelp and it was responded to quickly and we were able to get him in FAST! Can't beat the prices either! Definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

Our dog was a hot mess in this heat and her coat needed some serious help to get rid of the winter coat. After one treatment she looks great! And the staff was so friendly, we will definitely be back!

I took my dog to Embark for the first time and I'm highly impressed! It's a cozy shop in a good way and walking in, you'll see beautifully groomed dogs walking out with their happy humans. This groomer doesn't have cages, so when the dogs are done, they get to walk around and socialize! My dog was playing with her new friends when I walked in. The groom itself was perfect, she feels soft and clean now. The prices are reasonable as well. I will definitely be returning!

Not happy with Embark Pet Spa, second to last hair cute Lolly got she was cut 2 times under her arm. She had 2 holes there. I was so made but realized lolly can be a wiggle worm. So when she went for her last hair cut I told them I understand things happen but please call me the next time you cut her I want to know, and hope you don't cut her again.

So I pick her up and once again they told me she was so good.and get her home and find out she had razor cuts on her chest. They never said a word about it. So after going there for 5 years no more they have changed and far to busy to care about your pets any more. Its all about the money they bring in. Well Im finding a new place now.

I brought my newly adopted pittie here today and we had a great experience! The staff was very friendly and professional. Dottie smells wonderful and was a very happy girl when I picked her up! We will definitely use their services in the future!

I'm so grateful for this place! I've been bringing my boxer here since he was 5 months old and the staff has always been very patient and kind. My dog had some anxiety when he was a young pup, and the staff would take time to show him around, let him check out his environment, and make sure he was comfortable. They helped him learn to like going to the groomer. They do a great job getting him all cleaned up and always send him home with a cute bandana.

This place is great and I recommend it to all fur parents. Amanda was the one that groomed my pup and she did awesome. My pup Shaggy is a Golden Doodle with a beautiful red coat that I did not want to have shaved off, but I was not sure because he had some mats. Long story short, Amanda was great with Shaggy and she was able to take out all of his mats/knots with very little cutting of his hair.he looks great. I will be taking Shaggy back. Thanks Amanda and Embark you guys rock!

EmBark does a fantastic job with our furry babies! They are always so calm, yummy smelling and nails perfectly filed down after their appointments. I love that they then don't lock them up after their baths and let the dogs mingle with each other. And as if we needed more to love they get really cool bandannas. Very reasonable prices too!

Wow! I'm so impressed with the friendly, professional talented people at this place. Sarah took my matted, over energized standard poodle, Zelda, and transformed her into a snowy white princess. I had to look at my dog more than once to make sure I was picking up the right one! I will be back and will recommend EmBark to everyone.

Our dog is already our little child to us so when looking for that special place to bring him to get him all spiffed up we were beyond happy to find Embark. It's really easy to get here and the shop they have is adorable. Tucked back into the Bay View area it is worth the drive from Riverwest. His pampering took about an 1.5 hours so we went over to Vanguard and had a beer and some brats.

Not only were Embarks prices very reasonable but the care that Ralph got in getting him cleaned up was the best. He can be a little skirmish with his nails and just getting a bath in general. Embark handled him like a champ. We used the Furminator and it chilled out his shedding like no other treatment I've seen. All in all we are pleased and will be back! Thanks Embark!

Sara from Embark emailed me upon seeing my review and immediately apologized for the misunderstanding concerning Denzel's butt. She was so friendly and owned the mistake, then offered me either a full refund or a redo. We opted for the redo. When I went to pick him up, she showed me her job to make sure she understood what I wanted. It was great! Denzel pooped not long after getting home and he was poop-free! Thank god. Great service. Great communication. I'll definitely be returning in the future. :

I can swear I have already reviewed this place, but apparently not. We take our blonde long haired daschund here, and have had nothing but great experiences. The staff always give him a haircut that makes him look dapper. He comes out fresh and clean with a new bandana to boot. The bandanas are generally seasonally themed. Our dog needed to have extra special care after he had back surgery, and the owner was very accommodating to our pups needs.

We wanted to ensure he was ok during his recovery, and allowed me to stay with him during his haircut. Normally you wouldn't need to get a haircut for an injured and recovering dog, but with a no-shed animal, it is kind of a requirement. Kudos to EmBark for their skills with animal grooming and kind demeanor. We'll definitely keep coming back!
