At Meat, our mission is to make feeding your dogs and cats a healthy, natural diet as easy and affordable as we can. We carry an array of all natural dry and canned foods, but mainly focus on raw food diets. Feeding raw can sometimes be a bit more expensive, but there is less need for the vet, since so many problems will clear up naturally.

Great service and knowledgeable staff here for raw food or natural diet for pets. I would say it's more primarily for cats and dogs than other animals. What they do provide for raw food is great and they have options for your pet if they end up being picky like one of my cats. They have some toys, dishes and misc things for your pets but it's mainly for food.

This place has a seemingly endless supply of exotic meaty treats for your doge. The organs and/or bones of most of the animal kingdom can be bought in a long-lasting form as chewy treats. I also got one of my favorite t-shirts here!

Amazing locally owned pet store. The spacious brick and mortar carries a wide selection of very high-quality products, and everyone on staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Terrence is super on top of things, Heidi is a badass, and Emily is a holistic pet nutrition wizard.

Meat on Burnside is one of the top premium food stores for cats and dogs in the greater Portland area. My friend's great dane loves to visit once a week or so! They have a very helpful, courteous staff that makes every visit to the store quite enjoyable. The selection of foods (particularly their raw section) is second to none, and their prices are very fair for the quality you get in return.

Meat also has a great selection of treats and toys, which makes it great for one-stop shopping for pups and kitties! They also have a discount program on certain items and you earn points on each purchase, which saves you even more with the more you purchase. A/A+
