Michelle makes training fun. I have seen a big improvement in my pet. We both learned a lot and enjoyed our experience I went in for pet food today and all staff was very helpful. Ben had a lot of good advice on different types of food for Cheyenne. The store was very clean and stocked I get all my pet needs at Bark Ave.

Our 8 month old lab puppy, Chester loves the daycare and so do we. His tail wags 90 beats per minute when we drop him off in the morning and 30 wags when we pick him up. Chester comes home nice and tired after a day of playing with his friends. He loves the people that work there. They send a report card with pictures every afternoon about his activities. Thank you to all the employees you do a great job!

Great pet supply store! The employee was very helpful, polite and professional. I was looking specifically for primal raw dog food. Bark Avenue had a large selection of raw food to choose from. They also have a good selection of frozen bones and treats and VE treats. They also have the Primal frequent buyer program. When you buy 12, the next 1 is free. and they keep track of it for you. No more trying to remember a punch card everytime. I definitely recommend this store and will be a returning customer.

Nikki-is an angel sent from heaven. After MANY phone calls and emails, she said YES. I cried. Why you ask? Due to IVDD, my 7 yr old disabled Newfoundland lost her ability to stand/walk. Nobody would groom/bathe her, not even our groomer. I am so impressed with her patience and kindness. Nikki laid on the floor with her, bathed her and then shaved and trimmed her. Skye looks so beautiful and she smells so good.
We are so thrilled. Thank you Bark Avenue for having such kind souls working for you. if I could give a million star review, I would. I will be taking all my business to Nikki and Bark Ave. Get ready Nikki, Sampson and Bandit are heading your way. Many thanks, Liz

This pet store is a place where you can get personalized service for all your pets needs. Many times I have gone in with a problem I couldn't solve and they always come up with just the right thing. My dog was in the final stages of heart disease and wouldn't eat so they helped me come up with things for her that enticed her to eat a bit more and helped me keep her energy up until the day she died. Between this pet store and Bark Avenue Vet Hospital I was able to get the very best care for my precious dog.

I just had the pleasure of speaking with Ben and a nice young lady whose name I forgot unfortunately. We had an issue with two of the three Wondercide products we purchased and Ben went above and beyond to help us. It would be nice if more businesses handled customer support the way they did, in fact we are so happy with the way we were treated we're going to take the long drive over there just to buy random stuff for our dog this Saturday. The team at Bark Avenue really cares about its customers which I'm sure you'll find out when you stop by.

We brought our puppy, Duke, here for his first time ever at a doggy daycare and he had such a great time! He was so tired when he got home from playing so much, and it was exactly what he needed to get him more comfortable being around other dogs. Prices are amazing and the staff was sooo kind! We are already planning his next visit and will most likely bring him here on a consistent basis. Thank you guys for the great hospitality, he loved it!

If I could give them negative stars I would. The last time I took my dog to them for grooming she came home with multiple scrapes which I am assuming was from the shaver on her tummy and under her tail. She had at least 8 such scrapes on her. I was absolutely horrified! She's 10 years old and had been groomed here in the past without issue. She was so traumatized by this experience that the next day she threw up everything she ate or drank. I had to take her to her vet to the tune of over $200 in vet bills for medication to get her to be able to keep food down. Just an awful experience.

Bark Avenue changed ownership a few years ago and is unfortunately not as good as it used to be. We have a large breed dog who has anxiety who boarded and daycared here in the past.he does well with people who are used to large breeds and becomes stressed when handled by people who are afraid/not used to big dogs. Despite paying for all the bells and whistles, he was obviously left kenneled for most of his time at Bark Avenue, as the "report cards", pictures and updates stopped after the first day, and he came home with a UTI, which I assume he got from not urinating in his kennel (he was kennel trained and never has accidents).
In addition to the UTI, when we picked up our dog he shook for hours and would t leave my side. I am not going to give Bark Avenue a 1 star rating because it is a nice facility with great pampering options for boarding - but they really shouldn't be taking large breeds if they can't handle them. I would look elsewhere if boarding GSDs, Bully Breeds, Rotts or other dogs that people without experience get intimidated about. There are a lot of great options in the valley for these dogs with experienced handlers who will give your pups a lot of love and make their boarding experience enjoyable.

I only give them One star because I could not leave a message for zero. I can only provide a comment on the office staff because after waiting in my vehicle for a hour I cancelled the appointment. I was given paperwork to fill out and after 2 additional calls to ask when someone would be out to pick it up they said they were short staffed because the owner took their best tech to a sister facility to assist with interviews so total they were down 3 techs.
I called yesterday and there were multiple available time slots. They could have told me when they brought the paperwork they were running behind and offered at that time to reschedule if they knew they were so backlogged. When I tried to reschedule she said they did not have anything available for 2 weeks. Funny I called on a Thursday and was scheduled the next day and now they don't have anything available. I will take my beloved pets elsewhere because if they treat their human customers so poorly I surely will not subject my pets to their care.

I took both of my dogs to Bark Ave for their $20 deal. It came with 2 smaller services. Unfortunately, one of my dogs was not up to date on one of his shots so they wouldnt take him, which was kind of a bummer. My other dog got a nail grind and teeth brushing for $20. They were very careful about social distancing. I parked in a "barking spot." There was a sign with a number to call to let them know when you had arrived.
Someone then came out to get your pup for you. It was the same experience when I came to pick him up. They even take payment from the car. Overall good experience and I felt totally safe with everything going on!

When my fur baby Lucy, is at Bark Avenue I KNOW that she's in good hands. The whole staff is incredibly wonderful with her and they treat her with complete love and TLC, so much so that she often doesn't even want to leave when I pick her up. I truly can't say enough about the place or the staff. They are all top notch. Every single member of the team is personable and professional and their love of animals is evident with every pup and kitty that walk in the door. I'm grateful to them all!

The people here are very rude. I picked both of my dogs up and found them covered in urine. I was very upset, they didn't offer them a bath or anything, until I mentioned it to them in my upset voice. I repeat dog lovers, do not send your dogs here. These people do not take care of your dogs properly, they really just want your money. They are horrible! Here's a picture of my Major when I picked him up.

We brought our two dogs (Molly and Kai) for 3 nights of boarding during the holiday season. Their prices were reasonable for the high quality service we received. Before deciding to board the dogs they toured us the large facility. Everything was clean, spacious, and surprisingly quiet. We didn't bring our cats for boarding, but their cat condos looked very luxurious.
Some had "catios" (outdoor cat patios) or viewing windows. I will definitely be bringing my cats here for long stay next time. Anyways, dropping the dogs off was super easy. The staff was really nice and assured us on all our questions/requests. Bark Avenue had a very flexible pick up time, which was extremely useful for us because the holiday season caused some traffic on the way from California.
We picked up our dogs around 6:30pm (close to closing time), but their staff was still super courteous during the whole process. I can't speak for my dogs, but I'm positive that they enjoyed their stay. They weren't as stir-crazy when picking them up and were just as happy as when we dropped them off. To know that our dogs were being cared for gave us the peace of mind to enjoy our holiday vacation. I am definitely coming back Bark Avenue for any future boardings!

My two labradoodles just stayed at Bark Avenue pet resort August 29-September 4, 2018. The puppy who is 7 months old came home with KENNEL COUGH. My 2 year old labradoodle has stayed with the resort numerous times and nothing has every happened. Today when I picked both dogs up nothing was said by the staff that anything was wrong at the resort. However tonight when I called to complain and speak to a manager.
I was told that there was a response plan in place and that other people had called with the same illness- Kennel Cough. I spent over $600 for six days, I would expect my dogs to be taken care of and not come home sick. On their website it says that there are plans in place to keep all dogs healthy including vaccination requirements and sterilization of food bowls.
The cough is so deep and so loud there is no way that none of the staff back there did not hear these dogs making a terrible sound. I would not board your dogs there until this problem is resolved. I waited on hold for a manager and then was sent to voicemail. I then called back and was told the manager had already gone home for the day and I told them I needed to speak to someone so I'm hoping the general manager will call me back.
For a higher- end pet resort this is not acceptable. UPDATE: Jeff - GM called me back at 5:50pm and offered for our puppy to be seen by the Bark Avenue veterinary hospital at no charge.
